GGuest UserWe stayed at the Hongzhushan Zen Retreat on Mount Emei this summer. The hotel boasts a very convenient location with hassle-free parking for those driving. The serene environment immediately puts you at ease; we even spotted squirrels scurrying through the woods during our walks! Our room was spotlessly clean and tidy, and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. Both the front desk staff and guest relations manager were incredibly warm, thoughtful, and always greeted us with a welcoming smile. Breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, catering to all tastes. Enjoying the private hot spring bath in our room while admiring the lush forest view outside was incredibly relaxing for both body and mind. The hotel also offers various additional activities to enhance your stay. Overall, every aspect of our experience was excellent, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!

GGuest UserI booked the hotel I liked at first sight, and stayed there for two nights with my good friend and baby. The housekeeper Xiao Liu was enthusiastic and handsome, and the service was thoughtful. I would like to thank him here 🙏 I spent a whole day in the hotel, and the baby had a great time. The scenery was unbeatable, and the photos were super beautiful! You can also see the Golden Summit of Emei Mountain from a distance, it's worth the trip!

The facilities were fully equipped, truly offering a 'just bring your bags' experience. They even reimbursed us for the transfer service to/from Emei Mountain High-speed Rail Station. The front desk staff were incredibly courteous and welcoming, embodying Orange's special hospitality. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Cleanliness: Absolutely spotless. I even used a disinfectant wipe on the room's table, and it came away completely clean, which really shows their attention to hygiene.
Environment: The surroundings are lovely, with abundant lush greenery. The air feels fresh and invigorating, and we had beautiful natural views right from our room's balcony.
Service: Excellent! The staff were very helpful and always ready to answer any questions. As a family of four (two adults and two children) staying in a family room, they kindly provided an additional breakfast voucher.

GGuest UserWe recently stayed at Far Hill Reflect Snow Hotel for two days in early December as a family with seniors and young kids. While the hotel itself might not be the most luxurious, the outstanding hospitality we experienced makes it truly worth considering for anyone visiting the area.
A special mention goes to Ms. He, the hotel manager, whose kindness and dedication made our stay unforgettable. When we missed breakfast one morning, she personally prepared delicious noodles for us. When we struggled to find taxis, she went above and beyond, driving our group of seven to the train station in two separate trips. Such genuine care and effort are rare to come by, and it left a lasting impression on all of us.
If you're looking for a stay where you’ll feel truly cared for, this is the place to be. Thank you, Ms. He, for your incredible hospitality. We’ll cherish this experience and happily recommend this hotel to other travelers.

__M1388225****Traveling with kids, let's start with the positives:
1. The room was incredibly spacious, and having two separate vanities in the bathroom was a huge plus. The large terrace also gave it a real resort feel. The hotel grounds are vast, and the garden landscaping is absolutely stunning – a wonderful surprise!
2. The hotel offers a good variety of family-friendly activities daily, keeping the kids well-engaged.
3. Most of the staff were very pleasant and friendly.
Now for the drawbacks:
1. The restaurant is quite small and feels very cramped. The breakfast taste was acceptable, but the variety wasn't extensive, and the quality was pretty average. The dinner buffet could be bought as a group deal for 148 RMB per person. Drinks were canned sodas, and the dishes included '钵钵鸡' (Bobo Chicken), fried skewers, fried rice, and fried noodles. After I took a small plate of sashimi, I couldn't find any staff when I went back for more. The ingredients for the mini hot pot were also very meager, not even as varied as what you'd find at a '冒菜' (Maocai) shop.
2. The hot springs were a letdown. You can only use them after 2 PM, the changing rooms are tiny, and there are no showers. The water quality also wasn't very clean.
3. The shuttle service severely lags behind guest demand. The area next to the lobby was chaotic, with everyone eager to get back to their rooms, but there was a severe shortage of electric carts. We waited forever and still couldn't get a ride.
4. Mosquitoes were rampant, and the hotel didn't provide mosquito repellent. The mosquito killer in the room was completely ineffective.
5. Some staff members need better communication skills. For example, on the day of our departure, I called the hotel to confirm our high-speed train pickup, and the staff member mistakenly thought we hadn't booked it before. They impatiently retorted, ”You're departing today, why are you only booking the car today?” Regardless of whether a guest has booked before or not, this kind of language is very off-putting.
In summary: If you're sensitive to mosquitoes, want a great hot spring experience, and expect five-star hotel dining, you're better off choosing the Le Méridien or Hongzhushan next door. However, if you love super spacious rooms, amazing views, and family activities, the驷马屋 (Sima House) room type is actually quite good.

For a family trip, we booked two double rooms, one of which was for one adult and two children. After applying to the front desk, we added a small breakfast and hot spring experience for free. I must praise the thoughtfulness of the staff and the generosity of the hotel👍! I have been in Chengdu for 6 days, and the accommodation I chose is all four-star standard. Watson's breakfast is the best in variety and quality since the trip. I looked at many hotels before booking, and Watson's is good value for money.

The hotel is perfectly situated right by the Baoguo Temple hiking entrance. We truly appreciated their convenient shuttle service. A great bonus was the free self-service laundry, perfect for washing our hiking clothes. The front desk attendant was incredibly attentive and went out of their way to help, and the service from the restaurant staff was absolutely impeccable.

GGuest UserThank you so much to the hotel front desk staff for arranging a car to take us to the high-speed rail station this morning. It was so thoughtful. The hotel is right across from the Huangwan Visitor Center, so the bus to Mount Emei is conveniently located right there. The surrounding mountains provide fresh air. The breakfast was very rich and varied, and the auntie's noodles and rice noodles were especially delicious.
