Lovely hotel. Particularly liked their family room which is perfect for a couple with a young child. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Good breakfast too. Staff were helpful. Located close to Baoguo bus station where you can get the sightseeing bus up to the golden summit.

it was a pleasant surprise to realise upon reaching the hotel that I had stayed here 18 years ago. The service was great. One of the staff led usto out room in another block and showed us where the hotspring and breakfast areas were. He also helped us with info about Emeishan weather.

Transportation: Pick-up at the Emeishan High-speed Railway Station, which is very convenient for traveling;
Location: It is very fast to take a taxi from the hotel to Emeishan, and it is also very close to the surrounding areas. It is next to Exiu Lake;
Facilities: The room is very comfortable, clean and sanitary, and my family is very happy to live here; there are a lot of hot springs, and the water is changed every day, which is really super love;

The service staff throughout the hotel are warm and thoughtful. The room is divided into wet and dry areas, fresh, clean and hygienic, with complete facilities and supplies. The breakfast in the morning is very rich, with about 20 categories. This is not a 4 or 5 start resort. It’s a 5 star room down the river. The restaurant was closed when we were there, so called gym does not exist at all, swimming pool is small like a pond and the bigger one is for kids. There is no garden or anything that covers the road and the bridge you can hear easily while staying down the swimming pool. The big bonus is the bathroom- big and modern exactly like on the picture and the spring water hot tub that works well and can create a great time during the night as you can hear the river. Light system is amazing. You can find any light that you need to set up a mood. People are very nice and friendly. The front desk does not have ‘ business card’ and location of the hotel was written down on a paper. Really little things that shows this place has a potential but not in the current set up. You can’t lock the room door when you are not inside- only the garden gate. Who would design such a thing? I know it’s a safe destination but still. There is no safe either. People create this place special but it does not meet a high standard resort score.

I stayed at Emeishan Puyuan Zen Forest Hot Spring Hotel two days ago, and the overall experience was very satisfactory. The hotel environment is elegant and quiet, making people feel relaxed and comfortable. The facilities and equipment are very complete, the room is clean and tidy, the bed and pillow are very comfortable, and I slept very well. The hot spring area is designed very distinctively, and you can feel the relaxation of body and mind when taking a bath.
I especially want to praise the service lady at the front desk. Her attitude is warm and considerate. Check-in and check-out are very efficient. She also took the initiative to provide a lot of practical information, and the service makes people feel warm.
In short, this stay experience exceeded my expectations. Both the hardware conditions and the service quality are very good! Highly recommended to friends who want to travel to Emei Mountain, I will definitely come again next time if I have the opportunity.

The environment is good. The housekeeper Jiawei contacted us two days in advance to communicate the itinerary and arrange pick-up. The response was very timely, thumbs up 👍. There was afternoon tea, but unfortunately I climbed Mount Emei and missed it in the evening. There was a hot spring, but I missed it. The service staff were very good and considerate of customers in terms of system and flexibility, thumbs up 👍. The 2.4-inch big bed was very good, the bedding was good, and I slept soundly. However, the hotel can still be improved in details. For example, the toilet in the room has been upgraded to a smart toilet in many hotels, which can be improved; the claw machine in the lobby is too complicated to operate. I bought coins the day before, but the coins became 0 when I played on the second day, and I couldn't find it no matter what.

Our room was nothing short of spectacular. We were given a top-floor suite, boasting a spacious terrace with panoramic views. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the scenery.

GGuest UserI wish to do a fair review of my B&B stay at Emeishan.
Service was spectacular.
1) The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Emeishan Station (not to be confused with Emei Station), about 7-8 mins drive from the hotel. I communicated via WeChat which trains I would be on and let them know that my 1st train arrival was actually so that I could drop off my large suitcase at their place, before going backwards to Leshan for half a day, and then returning to Emeishan in the evening. Not only did they agree to send someone to the train station to pick-up, they agreed to pick up only my luggage without me needing to accompany. So I could add an additional hour to my Leshan trip. Then they came to the train station a 2nd time in the evening to pick me back to the hotel.
2) The hotel replies very very quickly on WeChat, as if monitoring it all the time.
3) The hotel could arrange ticket purchase of a show, Only Emeishan, at a price lower than what you find on the official website.
4) The hotel even left the suitcase in my room before my arrival.
5) When I told the hotel to skip preparing my breakfast as I was starting off at 7am the next day to go Emeishan (breakfast is 7.30am at the hotel), they offered to put some items into a plastic box for me to take along.
5-star service in terms of making arrangements!
They gave me a really large room, and I never used the bathtub with the bath herbs, but am thankful for the upgrade. Loved it that they gave 1 gigantic bottle of water and 2 smaller ones, showing their care for pple intending to climb Emeishan.
Please don't expect too much from what they call ”Afternoon Tea” included in your package. It is merely a small tray of dried/fresh fruit, so it wouldn't form a meal.
But I would not be fair to readers of reviews if I didn't give a balanced review.
a) The hardware is a bit tired. The wooden planks in the shower room are blackish, and there are water marks on the stone in the bathroom.
b) The power sockets are not at good locations. They are at the lower parts of a wall at a random spot and nothing near the bedside.
c) The lights in the room are not well-positioned.
d) There was an empty bottle below the wardrobe area when I first entered the room, which was missed even on the 2nd day.
e) As I'm not familiar with Emeishan, I also didn't know that 黄湾 area is not exactly the main activity area in Emeishan. That said, the hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the 黄湾 entrance/exit to Emeishan. I believe the Baoguo Temple entrance/exit would be more popular. There are several restaurants around the restaurant but the vast majority appear closed or are not occupied, so it doesn't feel very lively, whether day or night.
All in all, I would still recommend this hotel as they are family owned and run. The whole family depends on your support. Support local small business and give them a chance.

AAExcellent place to stay for going up Emeishan!
Getting here: Accommodation can be located by looking up ”Jingzhu” on DiDi, it'll drop you off almost at the front of the hotel - go down the alley towards the cherry blossom tree and turn right, the hotel lobby will be in front.
Accommodation: Very clean and the room was modern. Bathroom was very clean. We booked the guestroom which had a private bath outside which was also very nice - you have to fill it with water. It's usable to around 11pm. Alternatively there is also a public bath just past the lobby.
Service: Fantastic! The ladies brought our luggage to the room, fresh towels, water and fruit delivered to the room every day, and the receptionist was very informative (she spoke mandarin however). Also gave us tickets to go into Baoguo temple. Breakfast was Chinese style buffet but the food was very delicious. The ladies there will make you noodles on request.
Getting around: To get to the golden summit, take a DiDi to the Emeishan Tourism Passenger Transport Center, buy a ticket (for the bus from there to Leidongping car park, cable car up and down the golden summit to the car park + foreigners will need to pay a 160 yuan park entry fee, total approx 350 yuan). There are stalls with food and stuff from the car park to the cable car. Bus will take you to the tourist centre. It's also possible to walk to town but i recommend just catching a Didi or taxi.
Overall: Very impressed with the hotel and service, would recommend for anyone looking to travel to see the Golden summit!

SShangyesanqi.I searched for this B&B a long time in advance. When I arrived, I found that it was really good. It exceeded my expectations (^-^)👍The B&B is not very far from Wuxiangang Station. The staff also added WeChat in advance to inform them of the specific location and the Golden Summit that day. Weather, etc., you can also contact them to pick you up after playing. You can order food at the B&B in the evening. The taste is very good and the portion is very big. Two people didn't finish it. The breakfast in the restaurant is also very delicious. The hot spring staff in the room will fill the water in advance. After climbing the mountain, you can soak in the hot spring directly. It is super comfortable. The hot spring is facing the bamboo forest and the mountain, and the scenery is amazing🤙The environment is really super comfortable and relaxing😌There are also Swimming pool and public hot spring, the swimming pool was a bit cold so I didn’t go in the water😂
The front desk also helped us book a car to Leshan, they were serious and responsible👍
Next time I come to Mount Emei in winter to see the snow scenery, I will stay at this hotel✌️

What made me very disappointed about the stay: we were given a room without balcony right above the main entrance. All the night the cars were coming and going, all the morning the buses were on and the smell went to the room. It was very annoying and noisy. Sure it was too late at night to go to the front desk and ask to change a room. GGuest UserThe service is warm, thoughtful and considerate. It is a good choice for traveling. Located at the gate of Mount Emei Visitor Center, it is very convenient to enter the scenic spot. The housekeeper contacted the high-speed rail station to pick up the car in advance, and helped plan the travel route in advance, which is very considerate! The breakfast is nutritious and delicious. The room is hygienic and clean, equipped with washing machine and smart toilet, which provides convenience for travel!

LL S HWe checked into this hotel on 6 August 2023 after visiting Leshan Giant Buddha. The room is tastefully furnished and amenities are adequate.
It is within walking distance from the Emeishan Tourist Service Centre where you can conveniently buy admission tickets, sightseeing shuttle bus tickets and cable car tickets all at once. The young lady at the enquiry counter was particularly helpful and even helped us to plan our route so that we could buy all the tickets in advance. Incidentally we are honoured to be given complimentary admission as my wife and I are both above 60 years old. We need only pay for the sightseeing bus rides and cable cars. Our thanks to the management of the Emeishan Scenic Park.
Just a few steps outside the hotel is the 好吃街 (literally nice food street) where you are spoilt for choice for local cuisine. There is also an array of shops catering to Emeishan visitors. Baoguo Temple is also within walking distance from the hotel.
We recommend this hotel if you wish to spend sometime at the foot of Emeishan.

GGuest UserPositive: Very well located, just a 10-minute walk from Mount Emei. Cozy and spacious room. Clean sheets and towels. Very, very comfortable bed. Pleasant staff. To get there, take bus 5 or 7 for ¥2 from outside the Emeishan train station. If you prefer, a tuk-tuk can also take you for ¥10. Taxi drivers increase the price significantly, so agree on a fair price before getting in the car.
Negative: The WiFi didn't work. Although the area is good if you want to go to Mount Emei, it is quite far from the city of Emeishan; it's actually in a village called Bagou. The area is very beautiful, but the aggressive sales tactics of the people working in the restaurants and street stalls are unpleasant. They don't let you walk, shout at you, and chase you, even if you politely tell them you're not interested in their restaurant. You are constantly approached to buy tours, making it impossible to stroll peacefully. Although we understand there is no ill intention, the hotel owners constantly ask where we are going, what we are going to do the next day, and if we want food. We felt like we were staying at the house of friendly but somewhat controlling relatives, which is not what we expect from a hotel.
