"I hereby express my opinion on the lack of empathy by rated the customer experience at zero on a five-point scale. The day before, I had been robbed of Modena, losing my ID, driver's license and credit cards. I also contacted other hotels in Turin, Stuttgart and Berlin, where I booked accommodation during this trip. Each of these hotels immediately canceled the reservation, but this one did not. I appealed the decision, saying I could send testimony from the Bologna police, but still to no avail."

Housed in a beautifully restored 1920s palazzo right in the heart of Como, the property blends early-20th-century grandeur with sharp, contemporary Italian design. Bespoke furnishings, clean lines, and an attention to craftsmanship that runs throughout every corner of the building. What struck us immediately, though, was how impeccably maintained it all is - scrupulously clean in a way that genuinely impressed, from the suites down to the smallest details. The staff were exceptional. Warm, professional, and quietly attentive without ever being intrusive - the kind of team that makes a hotel stay feel effortless. Nothing was too much trouble. But the crown jewel is Lumi, the rooftop bar and terrace. The views over Lake Como are simply unrivalled - one of those rare vistas that makes you put your phone down and just... look. Whether you're there for a pre-dinner cocktail or watching the light fade over the water, it's a setting that will stay with you long after you've checked out. We will absolutely be returning."

"The studio was located in the old town, 9 mins away by feet from the Saint Mary Assunta Cathedral and 12 mins away by feet from the ferries' piers. Self check in was possible (though I was offline, so opted for standard check in). Great staff. The studio was spacious, clean, with all the amenities I needed. Bed and pillows were very compfy. Wifi was available for free. Self check out was simple."

"The location itself is convenient, but unfortunately the overall experience didn’t match the price point. At check‑in, the staff was friendly and warm — and that was honestly the best part of the stay. The property is more like an Airbnb with no reception. The staff provided us basic information through WhatsApp. Although the name hotel is misleading and the Airbnb type style is not what we expected, the arrangement works fine with us. The room felt dated and didn’t give the impression of being properly clean. Even small details, like the towels, were disappointing; they didn’t seem fully dry and the quality was lacking. Breakfast was another letdown. We weren’t aware beforehand that it wasn’t served on‑site but instead at a café about a four‑minute walk away. While this might be fine on a sunny morning, during our stay it was raining in Como, and having to go outside just to get breakfast was far from ideal. Overall, Convo Lake Como feels overpriced for what it offers. Between the dated rooms, lack of on‑site breakfast, and underwhelming amenities, I believe there are better choices in the area that provide more comfort and value for the same or even lower cost."
