"Nice and considerate staff, kudos to the lady at the front desk who is named Nives. The service is always available, the location is conveniently located. Despite the fact that i had some misgivings regarding the smell of the room (it is okay, but heavily scented somewhat with cleaning products; a pleasant smell of course i can live with but prefer to not have smelled at all), the view here is amazing. Would recommend again for someone who is trying to stay at lake como, a value choice."

"We stayed at the Metropole Suisse hotel for 3 nights. We ate at their Ristorante Inbarcadero our first night. The servers hovered over us the entire time we were there. They would not give us any space to eat or drink. This type of service is not a positive for the restaurant, and we refused to eat there the rest of the trip. Management needs to review how they train their staff."

"The studio was located in the old town, 9 mins away by feet from the Saint Mary Assunta Cathedral and 12 mins away by feet from the ferries' piers. Self check in was possible (though I was offline, so opted for standard check in). Great staff. The studio was spacious, clean, with all the amenities I needed. Bed and pillows were very compfy. Wifi was available for free. Self check out was simple."

"✨ Hotel Review – Lake Como (Hilton Lake Como) Hilton Lake Como The hotel is absolutely beautiful 🤍 — modern with a stylish Italian design throughout, from the lobby to the rooms. Everything feels new, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The room was a highlight — spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. All the basic amenities were well provided, making the stay easy and relaxing. One of the best parts is the rooftop swimming pool — stunning views, great atmosphere, and perfect for photos, especially around sunset 🌅 👉 One downside to note: The location is a bit far from Como city center. * There is a bus stop near the hotel, but buses can be unreliable and not always on time * Walking to the center is about 1–2 km, doable but not ideal (especially with kids or elderly travelers) 💡 Overall: Perfect for a relaxing stay in a beautiful, design-focused hotel. Best if you’re planning to use taxis or have a car, rather than relying on public transportation."

"Love this hotel, location, service and friendliness. The location is near the train station and the lake. We arrived earlier than hotel check in time, but since the room has ready, they allow us to check in earlier. Very appreciate especially since we've just travelled from Milan. We're renting a bike, and they allow us to put the bike inside the garage. We had a situation having wet pantsuit, since they don't have a laundry service they borrowed us an ironing and it helps.. Will stay again if we're going back to Colico"

"Myself and my husband stayed at this lovely family run hotel on 9 and 10 May. We were here for a gig at the Joshua Blues Club on the Saturday evening. We arrived at the hotel prior to the 3pm check in time. Our hotel room was ready. We were in room 106. The hotel room was clean, tidy. Can’t fault it. It gives you the rustic feel. Bathroom was nice and clean also. The shower was one of the most powerful showers we have had and it was warm. Breakfast was included in our stay. Was a mixture of croissants and meat, was a nice way to start a day. Hotel is a little outside of Como, however there is parking at the hotel and it’s a five minute walk to a bus stop (costs about €2 each way) Would we come back to the hotel? Most definitely looking to come back the same time."

"The location itself is convenient, but unfortunately the overall experience didn’t match the price point. At check‑in, the staff was friendly and warm — and that was honestly the best part of the stay. The property is more like an Airbnb with no reception. The staff provided us basic information through WhatsApp. Although the name hotel is misleading and the Airbnb type style is not what we expected, the arrangement works fine with us. The room felt dated and didn’t give the impression of being properly clean. Even small details, like the towels, were disappointing; they didn’t seem fully dry and the quality was lacking. Breakfast was another letdown. We weren’t aware beforehand that it wasn’t served on‑site but instead at a café about a four‑minute walk away. While this might be fine on a sunny morning, during our stay it was raining in Como, and having to go outside just to get breakfast was far from ideal. Overall, Convo Lake Como feels overpriced for what it offers. Between the dated rooms, lack of on‑site breakfast, and underwhelming amenities, I believe there are better choices in the area that provide more comfort and value for the same or even lower cost."
