"Close to the old city and the train station, the hotel facilities are perfect and the service is good"

"We had a lovely stay at Diamonds Inn. We booked the Standard Suite, Ensuite 3-bed room which is located at the top floor of the building. A very quaint compact en-suite family room great for a group of friends or family. All basic amenities are there including towels, shampoo and shower gels. There’s also an electric water kettle, coffee/tea, hair dryer and a small fridge! Beds are soft and comfy. Walls are thin and may hear voices of other guests in the halls during the day but was not a major issue during our stay, mostly quiet after 10pm. Location is very convenient as its only a stones throw away from one of the famous wall entrances, a pub and restaurant across and York Minster. Host was lovely and friendly as well, called to ask if we can get an early check-in and was happy to accommodate us."

"The hotel is right in front of the cathedral, the location is very central, and Diagon Alley is also within walking distance, which is not convenient for parking. 7.8 minutes after walking the street one night behind the parking lot is okay, parking during the day is very expensive. "It's really great! I knew before booking that the hotel was run by a Chinese owner, but after arriving, I was able to communicate with my mother tongue about the journey. This feeling is really wonderful. The owner is still an alumnus! We arrived earlier than the check-in time and wanted to put down our luggage first, but the room was already cleaned, so we were arranged to check in early! Then the owner was very patient to draw a map and recommend tourist spots and restaurants. After checking in, I found that although this hotel is not a traditional luxury hotel, I can feel the intention of the operator. For example, the noise reduction and sound insulation of the entire hotel are very good, just like the iron frame stairs at the back door, which is very considerately covered with plastic mats to greatly reduce the noise of the iron stairs. There is basically no creaking sound of the traditional British house floor when walking in the room, so there is no need to worry about affecting the guests downstairs. I especially recommend everyone to book breakfast! See the photos for details! It's really very rich! In addition, it is also very convenient to travel! There is a small path from the train station parking lot that can pass through the hotel. It takes 5-6 minutes to walk quickly without luggage. It takes about 8-10 minutes to drag large luggage. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel that takes you directly to the cathedral. I hope I can return to York and stay here again if I have the chance."
