Best Tongren Hotels

"The room is very clean, the environment is OK, the service is also very good, there is enough space for two people, the bathroom is very large, with a bathtub and shower, and two washbasins. I personally think it is mainly quiet, which is very good for someone like me who has a light sleep and poor sleep quality."

"I used to stay in Wyndham Garden. This is my first time staying in this name. It should be a franchise. The boss is very generous. The whole building is full of them. The only bad thing is that it is too comprehensive. There are four elevators and no special elevator for residents. It takes a long time to wait every time. There are many people. There are more people holding banquets. There are too few washing machines. The smell is very bad. I didn't get any laundry done all night. Such a big hotel has only two sets of washing machines. Everything else is good."

"The hotel has a good location, next to the tourist bus station, very close to Tongren Station, 10 minutes walk to the hotel. The room was big and the bed comfortable. We had breakfast just by and it was very good. A lot of restaurants near by too. The staff service is very enthusiastic! They helped us find a bus ticket to go to Fanjingshan west. The guy even came with us at the station to make sure we could by the good one. I was so grateful. We wouldn't have made it without him. Thanks again!"

"I am a bit bias when it comes to review and critique 5 stars hotel in comparison to others. Having said that let's take a look at this hotel. For a start, and in short, it is a gem! The room is huge, cosy, great location and wonderful view at high floor. I didn't get the name of the receptionist who checked me in. She is so efficient. That was the first give away the standard of this hotel. As i explore the hotel and went to the gym and pool, i was totally floored. This put international hotel fitness center to a shame. The amount of equipments in the gym is unmatched anywhere I stayed. Superb!!! Then i explore the second floor restaurant and order my meal. If you don't eat there you are missing a big hole here. Very delicious. Next i explode and tested the quality at front desk to their limit especially the added value services (Ms Chu, Feng and Zhang). But there is one conceige or bell boy or PR person i wish to acknowledge with exemplary. His name is Mr Wu(?). His knowledge and advice had helped me to plan my stay in Tongren more meaningful. Lucky to bump into him last night around 8pm. I wish to put on record and recognise this young man and thank him. Finally, i couldn't end this review without acknowledging the housekeeping and breakfast restaurant staff for their top notch and tireless services. Watch how they clean the room and the tables and you can tell they had been hone to be the best. Without saying, the Chef De Cuisine Mr Zhang is the best of the very best by international standard. I see him dance at the restaurant like a waltz, smooth as a whiskey too. A sight to be seen how he managed the restaurant. Thank you Head Chef. And so, a 5 star is a disservice to this hotel. It is beyond 7 star. See you all upon my next visit... With humble gratitude.... Your anonymous guest"

"The location of this guesthouse is absolutely fantastic. It's just dozens of meters in from the bridge near the main Zhongnan Gate, making it super convenient for exploring the scenic area. We arrived in the evening, dropped off our luggage, and then went out for a stroll and dinner. According to the friendly staff at the front desk, this guesthouse was converted from a landlord's traditional courtyard estate. It has over thirty rooms in total. The environment is quite pleasant, and it has a wonderful atmospheric charm. However, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes in the summer, so they should really provide more mosquito repellent. (Note: The windows face the corridor, but the upper section can be opened.)"

"The hotel is well-equipped with a breakfast restaurant and a laundry room, plus underground parking, which is very convenient. The main selling point is its proximity to the high-speed rail station, just a few minutes' walk away. The hot water supply is excellent, and the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful."

"I couldn't be happier with my stay! Xiao Zeng and Xiao Ling at the front desk were excellent, and the location is perfect, right next to the high-speed rail station. "I have stayed here for several times. Let me talk about my experience. I was attracted to this hotel through the Internet. I chose this hotel because I wanted to travel around. The service attitude of the front desk and room staff was good. The hotel waiter Hu Min introduced me to the night tour of the ancient city. At noon, I also went to the National Customs Park, which looked comfortable. Tongren is really beautiful and I felt happy! The young lady's patient guidance made me feel the warmth of home when I came to Tongren. I will choose to stay at her place next time. Although it is an old hotel, the facilities, equipment and personnel are impeccable! come on!"

"We are glad we chose this hotel. It is beautiful with a garden you can walk in upfront. The room was bigger than we had imagined with fancy gadgets and house keeping. Check in was a breeze. The front desk was friendly, helpful and resourceful. They helped us to find a driver to drive us. They also suggested places of interest that we could visit. The pillows are fluffy and comfy. The hotel is a little up a steep-ish cliff but its only like a 10 minutes endeavor. Taxis and didi's can come right up to the hotel. There's a bus stop literally by the hotel gate on the main road that can take you into town. The breakfast was the only down thing for us. Ir was very very chinese targeted. At least there was coffee! We would def stay again and bring our own drip coffee! "

"I would rate this hotel as deserving its 4-star rating within China. The location is excellent, being only a few minutes away from Tongren train station. The hotel also offers hourly short stays (with a minimum of 3 hours), which was extremely handy for us. Our trip to Fanjing Mountain was disrupted by heavy rain, and having access to warm showers for the whole family at a fraction of the room cost was extremely valuable. Additionally, as other reviewers have mentioned, the hotel provides a free shuttle to the train station, which is a great plus."
