Search Your Taipei Hotels

It wasn't easy to find a place home away from home. Due to the Covid 19, the Taipei CDC requires 14-days quarintine in a certified hotel. Horizon Inn is one of them. I contacted and compared a few. Horizon's customer service was impactable. They connected with me immediately. Walked thru CDC requirements and steps to follow. They helped me navigate the process and answered all my questions before confirmed my reservation. I arrived at the hotel at 6 AM - before checked in - the breakfast was waiting. The room is exactly like in the picture, spotless and quiet. I choose my meals from their 5 pages menu. I can't say thank you enough for them to make my lock-down a great experience.

The hotel has a lot of wear and tear and did not look like the clean, modern hotel in the pictures. The carpet in the common area on my floor was heavily stained and the mirror that greeted me when the elevator opened was in a sad state of disrepair (the ”L” in ”Love” was basically gone). For some reason, a chair with alcohol spray was placed next to the elevator. In my room, there were stains on the walls, one of the electricity outlets was so dirty I didn't dare plug my laptop charger into it, there was a foul smell from the bathroom, and the motor in the AC unit made a loud sound. Soundproofing is very poor and you can hear activities in other rooms very clearly. I stayed here on a cold, rainy day so I turned on the heat through the climate control console in my room. At almost 10 pm I got a call from the front desk staff with a strange request that I turn off the heat. They told me that my AC/heat was connected to the room next to mine and the other guest didn't want heat. While the staff did bring a small portable heater to my room, in 20+ years of traveling all over the world, I have never stayed in a hotel where I was told I couldn't set the temperature in my own room through the in-room controls because my AC/heat controlled the AC/heat in another room. I cannot fathom how a hotel operator could think it's OK for an issue like this to not be fixed. While I didn't expect luxury at this price point, the room rate I paid was not reasonable for the quality of the accommodations.

A lovely little gem of a hotel tucked away within the centre of Taipei. Near to the underground. Walking distance to interesting tourist locations, ie 101. Very clean hotel. Extremely, genuine hardworking staff working in this hotel at all levels. Highly recommended.

Checking in depends on your own needs. I don't need the hotel's gym, game area, or swimming pool. I just need to wash up and stay overnight. This price and equipment are enough for me. The night we checked in coincided with a typhoon, and there was water seepage in the walls of the room and water accumulation on the floor. After feedback, the customer service immediately dealt with it and upgraded the room to another room. Although there was no front desk staff, the response was immediately dealt with, and the experience was understandable!

Great hotel, excellent location just right next to Daan station. Room size is decent and smooth check in and check out service.

wanted to share my positive experience confirming my hotel stay with Ms. Gerie and her team. During our email conversation, I mentioned my preference for soft pillows. To my pleasant surprise, upon check-in, I found a wonderfully comfortable pillow waiting for me in my room. It was a thoughtful gesture that made me feel appreciated as a guest!

房內空間大又舒適，浴缸比一般單人型寛大很多，讓我意外的是房內有附一台桌電，剛好出遊臨時公事需要處理，讓我處理文件快很多，房間隔音很好，旅店附近熱鬧交通也便利，下次北上還會在來住這間

This is my repeat stay. Love the vibrant surroundings and the convenient location which makes accessibility to everywhere so easy. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. MRT is within walking distance.

It is close to Xinbeitou Station and attractions, all within walking distance. The room is clean and tidy. This room type has a good sense of space. The hot spring in the room has a milky white color. Great! The public hot spring is also very clean. It is separated for men and women. It has three pools, two hot and one cold. The shower facilities in the locker room are complete, and towels and bottled water are thoughtfully provided. recommend.

A perfect place if you want peace with a hot spring environment. The hotel provides transport between the hotel & the train station as it's far & walking upslope. I love the peacefulness & my private personal hot spring bath. The room is clean & spacious with all the necessary amenities.
