My first impression when entered the lobby, it was simple but nice. They have classic lift which new experient to me😀. Room was spacious worth it. Got window. All like new as u can see in picture. No kettle in room but got 2 mineral water. They provide hot/cold filtered water dispenser outside the room. Got fridge in room also hairdryer in bathroom. Bathroom size also big for this kind of hotel. Tv was big and the channel was clear enough compare to other hotel which i use to stay around here. Parking need to pay. Overall is a worth night to stay. Recommended.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was quite spacious with a large bed. There are several eateries within walking distance, which is a plus. The only downside is the soundproofing—it's possible to hear people walking and talking in the hallway, as well as traffic noise from the nearby highway. Despite that, I was still able to get a good night’s sleep. This hotel is perfect for those visiting for work or attending weddings. I’d recommend it and would definitely return if I have an event in Penang or Kedah.

My stay at The Light Hotel was an absolute delight! The room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, complete with a comfortable bed. The hotel is very clean and the service is also very good. The fan is broken. We checked in very late and we probably didn't have to rush to replace it. In summary, it is very good, comfortable and clean. I will come again next time.

First time lodged in the hotel. Surprised that the room is not small compared to other budget hotel at the similar price. Room was big, clean and staff was friendly. Aircond is of bigger size and works perfectly for me. Excellence budget hotel for business travellers that aim for clean, cheap, friendly and nice location!

SShao XiangOne of my favourite hotels in Penang, I come here at least once a quarter. They provide good quality accommodation. Hotels' rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast has several choices. I had stated in this hotel many times, but this time, there were no welcome back snacks, and they arranged for me to stay a lower floor room. (Previously always at higher floor rooms, which has a better view and privacy)

MMohammad Zabri binThis hotel is conveniently location in the Prai area; close to the highway - access via car or Grab is easy. It is also 6km away from Penang Central for access to the Ferry.
Check in was convenient and easy but staff has to update their knowledge on hotel, facility, bookings and room perks; and also the surroundings because clients might ask for information.
Room was superspacious, internet was somewhat stable but had trouble accessing some of my work pages (probably network security). Despite looking modern, its also a bit runned down where some furnitures needing a refresh and touch ups (see picture). Bed and linens were spacious and comfortable and airconditioning was manageable. Bathroom was okay with the cute toiletries provided (really cute). My room type comes with free minibar so they refreshed it daily. TV screen is huge but channel selection was limited.
Breakfast buffet was mediocre at best but staff were always ever present. The doorman and security are kindest at the hotel.

OOoy YokeNice modern business hotel in a convenient location in the Iconic City area, with lots of dining options. Comfortable room size for 1 or 2 persons. However, if room is shared with colleague, then it may not be very convenient as the washing sink is located outside of the bathroom, next to a low counter with the kettle and cups. To improve - provide floor mat at the sink area as the floor might get wet when guest uses the sink.

MMCLee RichardSupposed to be NON Smoking but the room allocated was full of cigarette smell . Rules are not implemented as we found there are guests smokhang inside the room and at first floor lobby as well.
There isn't double layer curtain blinds except the thick curtain so you can't open the thick curtain as others can see through the window .
There isn't any any shower door except a very fragile/ thin layer of cheap plastic screen that could not prevent the water from spilling towards the bathroom door and flooding the whole floor that has made it very slippery.
Towet rack is installed too high , you may find it difficult to reach.
TV reception is so poor you couldn't tell which channel or program is playing.
Overall ,room is clean but others are disappointing and room rate is expensive.
Will not recommend anyone to stay .
