There was one small towel for 2 people and they were never giving us a second one. They never cleaned the room in 3 days. We had to pay extra for the air conditioning. Most of the staff didn't speak English. No soap or shampoo.

This was by far the worst hotel I have stayed in with my entire family. In some of the rooms, charging does not work because some of the cables have broken off. Also toilets and some items are a bit broken. Rooms are often very small and not well equipped. The breakfast was not edible. There was only the cheapest of the cheapest. The lunch was also extremely inedible. The food was bought from the supermarket and reheated in the oven. In the kitchen is not freshly cooked. In addition, my sister was stolen 100 euros by a cleaning lady, even though she had locked the door beforehand. Some of the staff are unfriendly too. I only advise against this hotel!

Very kind staff, everyone very helpful. Very good location, next to public transport. Next to Mammut Shopping, Spar. Next to Széll Kállmán Tér, for buses, subway and trams. Also next to Mechwart tér for trams and buses. If you like to walk Very good accommodations, clean and useful. Not luxury, but practical and good. I am grateful for the hotel Papillon for help to made our stay in Budapest so nice again.

Shockingly bad stench in lobby from rancid kitchen. Adverts for escorts in lobby ! Toilet noises coming through two walls and ceiling so horrible for sleep quality. Stains on hallway carpets. Shower room smelled of sewage. Broken toilet seat, and light bulbs. Very neglected inside and out. Hygiene is questionable. Terrible breakfast.....awful restaurant food....serving luke warm watery soup to dental patients who are too exhausted to travel for food. The best thing about this hotel is meeting other dental patients from Europe.

The hotel has a good location. It is clean. Breakfast is quite good. Dinner is quite ok in a very good price. Comfortable. The receptionists must tell the clients upon arrival about some extra payments to be paid, including the taxes of the citty

The welcome is nothing to say, the staff is very friendly, the hotel is well located, the train station is not far away, and also the dental office of Dr. Suba is 3 to 5 minutes walk from the station (exit the hotel turn right and right go straight down and the dental office is there) not far great!! however the sheets are not changed, the cleaning ladies came but we had the impression that there was a shortage of sheets and pillows, so not enough sheets, the same since our arrival, with hair on the sheets, the dusty carpet, a big bedbug on the carpet, cleaning done but the bedbug still there, anyway... Come with your sheets and duvets and you will have a better time!!! ,because the hotel is really well located, about 5 from the city center (exit the hotel turn left and then right this time) (Starbucks, supermarket, restaurant, greck etc....you can also order online at kfc and mc do, very fast delivery, is not far from the supermarkets Have a good stay!!!

I read the previous comments, there are always unhappy people but I sincerely recommend this hotel. It's not great luxury but for €52 per night it's great. In addition, the lady at reception speaks perfect French, she is adorable and very welcoming.

I recently stayed at this hotel during a week-long trip to Budapest, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. Although my grandparents stayed there many times on the recommendation of their dentist: Dh Dental. I have noticed a clear decline in quality and service since the last visit in 2018. Upon arrival we noticed that there were only two beds made up in the room, even though we had booked for three people (my mom, my uncle and myself). Additionally, the duvet given to us was yellow and was never changed during our stay, which gave a sloppy impression. The sheet on the other bed had stains, and we even found hair in the shower, even though we hadn't used it. The photos presented on their site are no longer up to date at all. The breakfast, once a strong point of this hotel, has also deteriorated significantly. The quality and quantity of food served was significantly lower than previous experiences. However, the prices remained the same. To make our stay even more unpleasant, I unfortunately didn't take my AirPods with me and left them in the room, and when I returned, they were gone. When I tried to discuss these issues with the hotel staff, I was called a liar because they said they "trust their employees." This resulted in a considerable loss of time, between a day spent at the police station and endless discussions. In the end, I returned home with a bitter taste after this trip. It is also important to point out that the hotel claimed to speak French when booking, but no one spoke the language. Our German roommate also encountered the same problems. Additionally, the staff's command of English also left something to be desired.

Excellent rapport qualité prix. Accueil très chaleureux. Buffet petit-déjeuner très complet. Literie et Sdb très bien. Petits bémols: fin septembre 2022, nous avions la chambre n°6 dont l'unique fenêtre donnait sur le patio intérieur d'accès au restaurant ..... bruyant, peu aéré et peu visuellement discret. Oreillers en plume visiblement: attention pour les asthmatiques. Mais Hotel auberge au meilleur rapport qualité prix

J ai dormi 3 jours , dans un canapé dans une chambre 2.5mx 2x5 , numéro 45 à éviter, sinon petit déjeuner correct , ménage presque tout les jours, personnel agréable, hôtel calme, cet hôtel m a dépanné pour ces 3 nuits cependant je ne suis pas pressé de retourner dormir dans ce semblant de presque chambre, dommage car plutôt bien situé pour aller visiter Budapest,

La majorité du personnel parle quasi français ce qui est très pratique, par contre je suis résté cinq nuits et le premier jour d'arrivée la salle de bain n'était pas propre (poils et autres un peu partout sur le carrelage ainsi que l'évier ....je passe en me disant que une érreur peut arriver, le problème c'est que tous les jours le ménage était plus que baclé aussi bien dans la salle de bain que la chambre malgrés la superficie (tache de sang sur l'oreiller jamais changé...)je voyage donc la surface importe peu mais la propretée est primordiale surtout dans une ville connue pour le tourisme dentaire..... La dame qui gère le restaurant est comme une deuxième maman elle prend soin de vous et parle plusieurs langues suffisament pour arriver à communiquer. Bref pour le prix on dira que la chambre est correct ,mais pour ce qui est de la propreté je trouve ça intolérable ! Très déçu au final ,sans moi

Pessimo. No comment. Personale invasivo e scortese. Stanze sporchissime. Cibo e servizio pietosi. Sconsigliato, in particolare per le scolaresche. Esperienza da dimenticare... Peccato perché la città è bella e ben organizzata.
