Family-friendly Hotels in Beihai

The front desk was nice and did her best to accommodate me in English, including providing her WeChat in case I had any questions. They also upgraded my room since mine wasn’t available at check-in. Be aware, the majority of the guests were senior citizens, depending on what type of vibe you want with your hotel.

I would really recommend this hotel just for the private beach! The public beaches are full of people, but this hotels beach was very calm and pleasant. In the evening we had a meal on the beach. The view from the room (on the sea side) was stunning. The buffet breakfast is amazing. Huge variety of choices. My only complaint would be the bathroom that felt a bit run down. Would need to be refreshed.

Excellent, clean, new-ish hotel that is a very short walk from Silver Beach. Very friendly and helpful staff (special mention to Ms Celine Dong who checked us in, spoke excellent English and was extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with information on the hotel and its surrounds. Thank you Celine!). Breakfast had an impressive array of options (including some western options) and the room (a family room with bunk) was very spacious and comfortable for my wife, two children (12 and 10) and I. Would definitely stay there again.

For family travel, Changfeng Hotel is the first choice in Weizhou Island. The hotel allows children to play all day, with sunshine and beaches, Nice! Great hotel, room and view were amazing!!! Free pickup and drop off to the fairy Station. Room was super beautiful, spacy, and the view was stunning. You can rent a electric scooter at the front of the hotel and just stroll around the island. Recommend to go to Wucai Beach for the sunrise. One problem - breakfast time is only 8:00-9:30. Personally I think it's a very short period for a vacation hotel and ends quite early. Also, once some food ends - they don't refill, it's just over. Came in at 9:10 and many things were finished. Other than the breakfast issue, everything was really great. Had a wonderful weekend here :)

The room is indeed half sea and half city as the store said. You can see the sea and the city from the terrace. It is beautiful to sit on the terrace and drink wine in the evening. The service is very thoughtful. They carefully gave us travel tips, food and entertainment. It is very considerate! A pleasant trip

Traveling with two children, the location is very close to the passenger port. Thank you to Xiao Zhang from the reservation department for upgrading the room. The check-in was quick and the room was clean. There were fresh fruits in the room every day and many extra bottles of water were given every day. I have eaten breakfast, Chinese food, and buffet in the hotel. The breakfast is quite satisfactory. The Chinese food is plentiful and reasonably priced, but the waiters in the Chinese restaurant are not as enthusiastic as the front desk and appear to be slack. The buffet is okay. The good food stall on the left side of the north gate of the hotel is good, and it feels better than the internet celebrity restaurant Yuexiang Kitchen in Qiaogang Fengqing Street.

I stayed here when it was newly opened, but I never thought that it would change so much in ten years. Let me start with the good: the hotel is located on Guanling Mountain, the lung of the North Sea, surrounded by green trees, facing the sea in spring, and the environment is excellent. The hotel is a manor-style small building with exquisite and unique structure, spacious rooms, high ceilings, no sense of oppression, and a large balcony outdoors, where it is very pleasant to watch the mountains and the sea and bask in the sun. Disadvantages: The room facilities lack maintenance, the wallpaper is bulging and has black spots, and it feels very shabby. The balcony wooden floor is old and rotten, and has not been updated and maintained in time. The balcony door is also seriously deformed and difficult to close. The building has a closed lobby management, but there is no welcome service and no ventilation. After entering, a moldy smell is pervasive and it is very unpleasant. Five-star location, five-star framework, five-star room rate, but there is no five-star service and five-star quality, which needs to be improved.

Next to the hotel is the downtown area of Beibuwan Square, as well as the theater and the square snack street. Convenient transportation, very close to Beihai Station. The environment is beautiful, the service is very intimate, thank you Director Zhuo for the quiet room in the middle, the room is quiet and comfortable, the facilities are comfortable and complete, the buffet breakfast is varied and delicious! The hotel's washing machine dryer is super convenient, so that the laundry problem during the journey can be solved. The washing machine dryer is easy to operate, time-saving and labor-saving, which is a boon for travelers! Highly recommended to travelers who pay attention to details and service quality!

The service is very good. The boss will arrange a commercial vehicle to pick us up from Beihai Station for free to the B&B. The environment of the B&B is also good. We were ripped off when we ate. The boss personally took us to the restaurant to say hello. You can also rent electric cars in the store for travel. Although the breakfast is not that rich. But it’s good to have a tummy nap. There’s also free afternoon tea in the afternoon, and the staff are very welcoming.
