Guiyang Hotels with Bars

First time in Guiyang, we chose to stay in Huaguoyuan. The area is really lively, and we picked this art gallery hotel. It's not a real art gallery, but it certainly feels like one! 📍 The location is super close to the White House (the local landmark), just a few minutes' walk away, so you can enjoy the White House night view 🌃. 🏨 Every corner feels like an art exhibition, with sculptures, paintings, and designer furniture. 🛏 We even stayed in a Minion-themed room! Banana yellow colors, Minion pillows, and wall murals 💛. The attention to detail was amazing. The room featured a smart toilet and smart home control – you could just speak to turn off lights and close curtains. The bedding was comfortable, and the toiletries were high-quality. 💡 Little Tips: * I recommend visiting Huaguoyuan Wetland Park at dusk to capture the White House during 'blue hour' 🌆. The lights are on from 8 PM to 12 AM, making for great photos. * The hotel lobby and corridors are also very photogenic. Solid-colored clothing would look great there. * If you book one day in advance, the hotel offers a complimentary pick-up or drop-off service to/from the station or airport once! (Available from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM).

This hotel is truly fantastic! The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the beds are super cozy and soft. The receptionist was warm and welcoming, and the check-in process was lightning fast. The soundproofing is great too, ensuring a quiet night's sleep. The breakfast has a rich variety, the afternoon tea setting is lovely, and staying here in Guiyang is completely worry-free. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

This was my first business trip to Guiyang. My schedule was quite tight and I only stayed for one night before heading back the next day. Therefore, I chose a convenient downtown location near Penshuichi, and even managed to find some downtime on my final day to try almost all the local food around the area. The hotel is newly opened, with the front desk located on the 23rd floor. The overall vibe feels very clean, and the ambient scent is really pleasant. What surprised me the most was the laundry service. I brought all my dirty clothes from the trip down in the evening, and the staff had them washed and delivered right to my door by the next morning. The room was also spotless, and the mattress was exceptionally comfortable—not too mushy, but with good support, which is great for people with lower back pain. The hotel pays great attention to detail: the slippers have actual soles, the quality of the shampoo and shower gel is quite good, and they even included a complimentary minibar along with two drink vouchers. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety, including Guiyang's specialty sticky rice (nuomifan). I also had a cup of the recommended coffee at the rooftop cafe; the beans were very aromatic. It feels like Guiyang is truly a city of coffee, with so many unique cafes all around.

Whenever I have a short business trip to Guiyang, I always stay at this Holiday Inn for my layover. The shuttle bus schedule is well-arranged, making it very convenient to get to the airport and eliminating the anxiety of rushing for my flight. The room layout is simple and practical, with a spacious desk and stable internet. It's quiet at night, allowing me to focus on work without disturbance. Front desk staff, Iven, provided efficient service, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The breakfast selection is comprehensive, and the Guizhou-style sour soup noodles are authentic. It's perfect for a quick meal before heading to the airport, making it a hassle-free choice for business travelers.

The standardization at Hilton Garden Inn is consistently good. I've stayed at two of them recently, one in Lhasa and one in Guiyang, and they were practically identical in style. This particular hotel is located south of Jiaxiu Tower, and everything is very well-appointed. From the lobby, it didn't seem too crowded, which might be because the ground floor common areas are quite spacious and grand. The only minor drawback is that the elevators are a bit slow, especially considering it's nearly a 60-story building.

The hotel's location is excellent, primarily because I was there for the Left Bank Music Festival, and it's very close to the park. There are also many attractions nearby; getting to the museum is very convenient, just a 10-minute walk. It's also easy to walk back to the hotel after exploring other places and visiting the museum. There are lots of great food options in the area too. The only thing I didn't quite understand is why such a large hotel doesn't offer robot room service. All deliveries and takeout have to be left at the main entrance, and guests have to go down to pick them up themselves. For a hotel of this size, it wastes a lot of guests' time going up and down, which is a poor service point that needs improvement.

The room I requested was generally accommodated, but due to the building's design, the window felt quite oppressive. I discussed it with the front desk and managed to switch to a room closer to the road, which felt less claustrophobic. However, the traffic lights on the street did slightly affect the room at night. Since it was peak season, I had no other options, and this is a fixed hardware issue with the room. The elevator serves two hotels, so it can get a bit busy during breakfast, and it often gets stopped on the first floor. The hotel's front desk is on the basement level, so sometimes you can't get an elevator upstairs from there. Parking is quite convenient; even if there are no spots, they try their best to find one. I want to give a shout-out to the front desk staff, especially the young man who enthusiastically helped us solve problems and even printed study materials for my daughter. The service was very warm, and the complimentary coffee vouchers were also excellent – not just a token gesture. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but the food tasted really good! They even offered late-night porridge and there's a laundry room. Overall, it was quite a pleasant stay! The pictures show the breakfast, the complimentary coffee, and a window from a room in their building. You can use these as a reference when choosing a room.

Wanted to crash the moment I landed, and choosing Xiaoxiju was the right call! Located right at the entrance of Qingyun Market, downstairs is packed with amazing food with zero risk of hitting a dud. After a night of eating and wandering, it's just a few steps back to the room. The room is clean, with individually packaged and sterilized bath towels and slippers. It features Xiaodu smart controls, and the 18th floor has a fully equipped laundry room and gym. The window offers views of the Riverside Park, and it's within walking distance to the National Museum, with very convenient transportation. Great location saves time, worry-free stay, and fantastic food—totally worth booking!

Hotel Experience Sharing This hotel is conveniently located in the city center. Its exterior boasts a modern design, while the interior decor perfectly blends classic elements with contemporary comfort. Upon entering the lobby, you immediately sense the hotel's high-quality service; the front desk staff are friendly, and the check-in process is swift and efficient. The rooms are spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable beds that ensure a great night's sleep. The in-room amenities are comprehensive, including high-speed Wi-Fi, a mini-bar, and an LCD TV, catering to both business and leisure travelers. The bathroom is clean and tidy, well-stocked with toiletries, making for a very satisfying showering experience. The hotel's dining service is equally excellent. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, offering everything from fresh fruits and pastries to hot omelets and bacon, all prepared to perfection. Furthermore, the hotel's fitness center and swimming pool provide guests with a great place to relax and unwind. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. It's a great choice for both business trips and leisure vacations. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to the city.

Five-star recommendation for Anantara Guiyang Resort! The entire hotel is nestled in the mountains, blending Thai style with Guizhou ethnic elements. The environment is serene and healing, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the balcony offers a superb view. The breakfast and batik experience are all excellent. Throughout our stay, we were surrounded by warm and attentive service, making us feel right at home. This vacation experience far exceeded our expectations, thanks to the dedicated service of our butler, Nia. I highly recommend her and will definitely look for Nia again on our next visit!
