"The location is stunning and the staff are polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and the showers quite good. There seems to be a 2-3 hour outing organized once a day, and you can always go kayaking or swimming. The food is good and reasonably priced considering the location, but the menu isn’t extensive. Would be nice if there was a masseuse, but maybe it’s too small to support one. Highly recommend for a 2-4 night stay."

"A great place, excellent service and approach to the standings. Late on their boat from the hotel (not by their fault) and paid 3,000 batts for delivery. When we arrived, we were offered to have lunch immediately. Lunch and dinner here are just fine. And in the morning, after breakfast, when everyone started gathering, the administrator came to us, exactly at the moment when people started getting in the boat and demanded 3,000 more baths for sending. Although we, like the rest of the guests, paid for it. Ten minutes were explained that everyone had paid. 10 minutes later we were told sharply that we were right and we could go on another boat. In general, everything is perfect without counting this moment. So be vigilant. And thank you for such a beautiful place."

"Every staff speaks good English, very nice. The environment is extremely amazing. There forces you to put down your phone enjoy your holiday because there has no signal at all. But in the resort providing WiFi (not free). We definitely will go there again"

"The staff were all polite and helpful at all times. The hotel is very tired and needs a complete refurbishment, reception area which gives first impression was poor. All furniture is chipped, scratched just not inviting at all. Our room was spacious and bedding very clean, door lock needs attention, it’s difficult to lock as the barrel is loose. The pool outside our room had many tiles missing and the main pool had been patched up in an amateurish fashion. The hotel sign in the grounds has a letter missing. A lack of investment all round.  The hotel did arrange a tour on the lake for us which was beautiful and I thank them for that. Beware this hotel is not in the area for regular tour pick ups so you may struggle  to get on any organised tours."

"Could be your choice of your journey stopover, if you like something nature, surrounded with greenery and quiet. When we arrived, appeared in front our eyes was uniquely, a friendly white poppy. After check-in from the office, also the white poppy ”escorted” us to the building where our room located."

"For a couple of days to see the sights, this is a great choice at a reasonable price. We stayed in the national park more than once, we have seen more interesting hotels, but also more expensive. Khao Sok and Cheow Lan themselves are the pearls of Thailand. We recommend!"

However, the location is convenient for visiting nearby attractions around the dam. It's recommended for a brief stopover before moving on to your next destination."

"Quiet isolated location met expectations. The price tag seemed justified considering the amenities provided. First and foremost, the air conditioning system was functional just, adding to the aircon challenges, the lack of insulation exacerbated the heat Television enthusiasts, beware! The TV signal was virtually non-existent, rendering any hopes of entertainment futile. For those seeking a digital detox, this might be a blessing in disguise, but for most, it's a disappointing setback. Moreover, the resort's remote location proved to be a logistical challenge. Situated far from civilization, guests are left dependent on their vehicles or taxis to venture anywhere beyond the confines of the property. Be aware a bus or van from Surat Thani to Khao Sok national park does not come near the property. Double check your bookings in and out and I would not recommend any tight time schedules to the airport. However, amidst these shortcomings, one saving grace was the kindness of the staff. Despite the challenges, the staff remained courteous and accommodating, striving to mitigate the shortcomings of the establishment. The staff arranged all my transport albeit a little haphazardly. In conclusion, while the remote resort boasts a serene ambiance and amiable staff, the isolation in transport terms would require a traveler with vehicle. It is 5km from the dam and daily boat tours on the extensive lake amid magnificent karysts. Warning do not swim in the lake it's heavily polluted with sewerage."
