"Stayed here for 2 nights, but in two different rooms, so I got to experience both. Overall, the hotel has a great view and a generally comfortable stay. It is a bit far from most main attractions, although it is relatively close to the railway station. There is a nearby bus station (Line 6), but getting to the Ancient Town and other popular areas is still quite far, so using Didi is often the easier option. The lobby also provides tea, coffee, and water, which is a nice touch. My first room was on the 2nd floor and felt very modern and new. The bed was especially comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well-designed — I really liked this room. My second room was on the 5th floor, and there is no lift in the building, so carrying luggage up the stairs can be quite tiring. The staff kindly helped me, which I really appreciated, especially since it was quite a lot of effort. This room had a nice view, but it felt a bit older compared to the first one, especially the bathroom. If I had to choose, I personally preferred the first room for its newer feel and comfort, but both stays were still pleasant in different ways."

The location was also very convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and other necessities. One suggestion would be to include the hotel's Chinese address on booking platforms, as it could make it easier for Chinese-speaking travelers to use ride-hailing services. Overall, the hotel was very quiet and provided a comfortable and relaxing stay."

"We will be back! This felt like a home away from home, except it had such a wonderful view of the lake. The host was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the railway station, which was very handy for us as we came over from Kunming and then went back. You're close to many of the central places and with DiDi taxi, it's super easy to get around from here. We will for sure book here again; we're already planning a visit back."

"Our first stop in Dali was Mo Travel, and the young lady who checked us in was incredibly patient. She gave us great advice on where to eat and what to do, and every evening we received a message from the butler about the complimentary sweet soup, which was a really thoughtful touch. The young lady also showed us to our room and meticulously explained all the facilities, including how to use the shower. The entire room was equipped with smart home features, and we could see the mountains just by opening the curtains. The room was spotless; even someone as particular about cleanliness as me found it excellent. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious! We had them both mornings. Our trip was a bit rushed this time, and we spent all day out exploring, so we didn't get a chance to experience the guesthouse's tea room or bar. However, the overall environment of the guesthouse was fantastic. And I absolutely adored Shi Yi and Huan Xi (the dogs)! There was also a cat, but I didn't get a chance to play with it. Kudos to the young lady and gentleman who looked after us!"

"This hotel located in a small walking street in the heart of the old town, surrounded by shops. It's not luxurious, but clean and safe. You can go to any tourist spot easily; on foot, rent a bike or taxi. Since we love walking we walked to the lake on the east and we saw local people working in their farms. I have to say that Dali is one of China's tourist places that can manage their city very well. About our room: it was on the third floor and there was no elevator. The staff were very welcoming and offered to carry our luggage up, which we greatly appreciated as it was heavy due to our month-long journey. Our room had big windows and a balcony with a mountain view; it wasn't spectacular but it added comfortable atmosphere. In their shop downstairs, we saw two chubby cats; they were adorable and friendly. The staff here didn't speak English. We communicated via WhatsApp, making everything convenient and eliminating language barriers."

"Where we stayed is superbly strategic to lots of food streets and Dali highlights. If you book two nights at this hotel, you will get a 1-day free usage of their electric scooter to explore around. We rode to the Longkan Pier at the Erhai Lake, Caicun Wharf, Chang’er Avenue and the Three Pagoda. Dali has created friendly lanes for bicycles and e-bikes, so it is easy to ride around the city. With only less than 48 hours, we managed to cover most of the highlights and tried their local Bai ethnic cuisine. The hotel is quite relaxing with a nicely decorated lobby. The main staff is helpful and friendly too. Recommended to stay here."

"The room layout was meticulously arranged, and the facilities were thoughtfully and tastefully appointed. It was spotlessly clean, looking brand new, which was truly refreshing. The view of Erhai Lake under the blue sky and white clouds from the window was breathtaking. The rooftop, stairs, fish pond, upper and lower gardens, and the music hall… everywhere was a perfect spot to let go of life's worries. You could take beautiful photos with a few friends, or simply sit down, enjoy some drinks, juice, fruits, and snacks – it was incredibly relaxing. Waking up in the morning, the owner personally prepared a variety of breakfast options, scientifically balanced, so there was always something perfect for everyone. Enjoying such a delightful meal, full of Dali's unique flavors, was wonderful. This was my first visit, and I felt completely relaxed, and my whole self was re-energized! It's a fantastic place for trips with friends or family! Highly recommend!"

At night, when the lights come on, the atmosphere is simply magical, giving off a 'Spirited Away' kind of dreaminess. 💁 The service is incredibly thoughtful!
