"The hotel is conveniently located right next to the JR station, with direct access through the local products store, which was a huge convenience. The room quality felt akin to a 4-star standard, boasting a spacious bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub. However, despite the decent room size, the layout was quite problematic; the table and chairs took up too much space, leaving little to no room for luggage. While most essential amenities were provided, specific items like makeup remover were missing. The mini-fridge didn't cool very well, and even with the air conditioning set to 24°C, the room remained uncomfortably warm, preventing a refreshing sleep. It's about a one-kilometer walk to the main street of the Kanto Festival."
"The hotel is super easy to find: head straight out of Akita Station's West Exit, cross the pedestrian bridge on the second floor, and you'll descend right onto a pedestrian shopping street. Walk to the very end, and you're there. There's a pretty large 7-Eleven right downstairs. The room was a bit on the small side, but it was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. The laundry facilities are located separately within the male and female public baths; I particularly liked that the women's laundry area requires a key card for entry, which is a great security feature. Akita Park is directly opposite."
"The location is very convenient, right next to JR Akita Station, close to the city’s tourist attractions. It‘s great that the hotel has a gym, and the restaurant on the top floor also has local characteristics, good service, and delicious food. But for some reason, the door of my room could not be closed normally, which made me very confused."
"Dormy Inn Akita boasts an excellent location, being very close to Akita Station. The distinctive sculpture at the hotel's main entrance caught my eye, though its meaning wasn't clear to me. The hotel is conveniently situated next to the Akita Museum of Art and directly opposite Akita Park, contributing to a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere."
"The private room dinner was about 11 courses and we got tired of eating!! Super fresh seafood. The servers were super polite, Knowledgeable, and explained everything in detail despite the language limitations. The hot water is salty and soothing for the skin. Breakfast buffet had continental items; a plus."
"Previous night was a happy one. Stayed a further 2 nights. Housekeeping staff did an excellent job. So did the front office and other staff. The restaurant staff were also helpful with our enquiries and went out of their way to give us advice. Unfortunately upon check out there was an unusual room charge transaction to our debit card supposedly fm Richmond hotel. Both front office and my side could not solve the discrepancy. The hotel provided all help necessary for me to resolve the matter in due course. Hopefully the matter will be resolved eventually or we will end up with paying a further 500 sgd for our stay."
"The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious, giving everyone a good start to every day. The location is also very convenient, with many attractions and transportation options nearby. Highly recommended to friends who travel here"
"The location of this hotel is super good right at train station & parking is in the same building w reasonable price of $520 yen. The only thing we are really unhappy is about the front desk the lady there are not helpful & sound a bit rude to us. We requesting 2 extra pillow she insist us to go down drink desk to collect it, we said we are tired can they send up, but she just said NO, w a rude voice. For Japanese famous of good service & polite this is very rare to meet but we are unfortunate."
"This hotel is right next to a underground rock concert shop. It has frequent tenants who played there or attend the concerts there. If you are driving , you won’t be able to get their parking slots as it mostly reserved for the regulars. The nearby parking lots charges 400 Y from 4pm-8am so if you arrive shortly after check in time and decide to head out early the next day, you may use the 2 carparks that is right beside the hotel. If you can’t make it in time, the hotel cheapest parking option is behind Lawson where they have monthly season parking lots. It’s 600 yen per night from 3pm to 10am.
room wise, price to value is below average probably becos of high demand in the vicinity. As for cleanliness, can be better improve. My aircon filter and air filter machine was producing really moldy and smell air , probably from previous guests who sweated in the room. Was a big turn off lucky I came during autumn, can just open the window to get cold air in."

Great
HHenriWThe hotel has a very good location. Although not immediately next to the JR station, it's a short and easy walk to get to the hotel from Akita Station. When you see the Museum of Art in the photo, you are arriving. Also, the famous Senshū Park is just across from the street.
It's a grand hotel with nice rooms. The staff are friendly and professional.
It's not far from the bar district. There are many interesting bars over there. After a couple of drinks, you can just walk back to the hotel.
DDianziIt's a little far from Akita Station, but there's a large super public bath that guests can use for free. It's open to the general public in the evening, but is exclusive to guests from 6am to 9am.
It looks like there will be maintenance work on the super public bath in the near future.
It's a little old, but the staff are very tidy and pleasant.
YYouxiapeiIt's a little far from Akita Station, 10 minutes by bus. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk. It's very quiet and worth recommending. Breakfast is a set meal, you can choose Japanese style or noodles. It's average.
MMingmeiIt was an interior hotel with a little history, but both the breakfast buffet and the Chinese food for dinner were very delicious.
Also, the coin laundry is the latest and drying is about 20 minutes! It is also good that you can read all-you-can-read manga in the waiting time.
MMomomomodeThe price is very affordable, there is 1.2 kilometers away from jr Tozaki Station, it is very convenient to walk without luggage, if there is a suitcase, it is recommended to call. There are no restaurants near the hotel. There is a large supermarket 100 meters away. There is a lot of food. There is a sightseeing tower in front of it, 100 meters high, free boarding, and a coffee shop on it.
Kken9seiAround a 15-20 minute walk from the JR station, the hotel is between 3 convenience stores, within a 5 minutes walk each. It is along the Kanto Dori, where the Kanto festival, so access to the festival is very convenient. Depending on your room, you might even be able to see the festivities from your room. There is a water and ice dispenser on the fourth floor and a pair of washing machine and dryer on the first floor. While the hotel is a bit more dated, it is still clean and comfortable.
CCHAOCHENVery good, the service is particularly good. It is free to provide an umbrella for the rain outside. It is also very warm. The price is fair. The traffic is very convenient. There are many places to eat next to it. It is recommended to come.
GGuest UserThe hotel managers or receptionists were great, especially, the day receptionist! The housekeepers were also very nice and congenial. They keep the place clean. I also love the ”onsen”! Thank you guys!
