This hotel experience was truly excellent, and I absolutely must give it a thumbs-up!
The location is very close to Foreigner Street. Restaurants are nearby, making it very convenient for both travel and dining.
The hotel facilities are complete, the room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was odor-free.
The service was excellent. The owner, who is Chinese, was very friendly and easy to communicate with. He was also very proactive in answering any questions.
If I have the opportunity to visit this area again in the future, I will definitely choose this hotel again.
Mano Temple Hotel in Luang Prabang: An Unforgettable Southeast Asian Style Journey
In Luang Prabang, a small town full of historical charm, Mano Temple Hotel is undoubtedly the perfect place for my trip. From the moment I stepped into this place, I was deeply attracted by its unique charm.
Excellent location and convenient travel
The hotel is located in the city center, within walking distance of many popular attractions around Ma, such as the Royal Palace Museum, Xiangtong Temple, etc., and it is only a dozen minutes' walk from the night market and the Mekong River Pier. Whether it is the early morning alms giving ceremony or the evening night market stroll, it can be easily reached, perfectly integrating into the fireworks of this small town.
Elegant environment, full of Southeast Asian style
Walking into the Mano Temple Hotel, it feels like being in a quiet Southeast Asian garden. The traditional wooden building is surrounded by green plants, creating a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The room is simple and warm, and the bedding is clean and tidy, making people feel relaxed as soon as they check in.
The service is considerate and the guests feel at home. The boss is Chinese and can communicate in Chinese. The boss knows everything about the local area. Whether it is recommending restaurants, arranging transportation, or providing travel advice, you can feel extremely at ease. The boss's patience and enthusiasm will instantly eliminate your worries.
High cost performance, great value for money
Here, I gained not only a stay, but also an unforgettable travel memory. If you also plan to go to Luang Prabang, Mano Temple Hotel is definitely a choice you can't miss!
A boutique hotel renovated from an old house with brand new facilities.
Just across the road from the door is the Mekong River, and it takes 5 minutes to walk to the Foreigner Street. The Royal Palace Museum, Xiangtong Temple, Mount Phu Si, and the night market in the city are all within 10-15 minutes on foot. There are also many popular restaurants around, which is very convenient for travel. The hotel provides free bicycles, and it is also very good to have a city bicycle.
The front desk brother is polite and enthusiastic, and communicates in English. Although it has been open for a short time and is not familiar with some business, he is very dedicated. He helps to book chartered cars, airport shuttles, and restaurants, and also helps to repair bicycles abandoned on the road🚲
The room is not big, but the double bed is 1.2m (most of the double beds in other hotels are 0.8-0.9m). If you have to wash your clothes by hand every day, drying them is a problem
Breakfast is at Joma cafe (a local chain cafe) on the underground floor of the building. You can choose a different breakfast set on memu every day with your ticket. The dining time is relatively flexible, from 6:30 to 10:00 in the morning. If you don’t have time to eat, you can also take it away.
The 3-day stay in Luang Prabang was very comfortable. The room that was not facing the main street was very quiet. I slept until the rooster in the neighbor's house crowed to remind you that it was time to give alms, haha

The really positive aspect of the Guesthouse is that the Alms giving ceremony passes right in front of it. However, for longer stays, the morning noise might be bothersome. I was not overly happy with the cleaning standard, but the price and value ratio of this establishment is still great.
I stayed in this hotel for the second time, the location is very convenient, next to the hotel there's a grocery where you can buy anything you may need and you can walk to the night market and many attractions of the city. the staff is very nice and helpful. breakfast is simple but good.

Location: The hotel is at the end of the foreigner street, near the four-story building of the Internet celebrity coffee shop. The night market is at the door at night, and the morning market is at the back of the alley at the end of the hotel. The location is very lively and excellent. You can walk to any place in the old city in about 20 minutes.
Facilities: It is actually a B&B hotel transformed from an old villa with a public area. There is a place to park motorcycles, and there will be barbecue in the yard at night. Then there is local barbecue. Then there is also water for sale and bicycle rental. I feel that the boss should be Chinese, but the big brother on duty during the day at the front desk can speak English, but the front desk at night can't speak English, and can only communicate through a translator into Laotian.
Hygiene: The hygienic conditions are good. We stayed for three days and there was no cleaning in the middle, but we will give you replacement napkins and mineral water and some things you want. Materials, but to be honest, it is the level of a B&B hotel. Don't be too picky about this thing.
Environment: The environment is good, but if you like quiet, it's not good, because the night market will be very late, and the entrance of the night market will block the whole road, you will feel very depressed, although you can come in from the alley next door, but the experience is still not very good? Now the foreigner street of the night market will be closed during a specific time period, so there is no way to get back by transportation.
Service: Finally, let's talk about the service. The hotel itself does not provide any services except accommodation. If you want to book a car or rent a motorcycle, you can go to the small pavilion on the right side of the hotel entrance to find the big sister inside. He provides various services such as chartering, car rental, and motorcycle rental, and you can pay with Alipay, WeChat and credit cards. But remember to bargain. He quoted us 100,000 yuan per person for the car we went to the train station at the beginning, but in fact 50,000 yuan per person would be enough.
Summary:
If you like the hustle and bustle and don't have too high requirements for hygiene, then this place is your best choice, it is full of the atmosphere of local life. You can eat in the yard, I barbecue and chat with friends, you can also stroll in the night market to choose what you like, or go to the morning market and give alms in the morning. Go and see the life of this city in the early morning, but if you like quietness, then I suggest you consider other places, because this place is really noisy, and it is very noisy most of the time during the day. Because it is opposite the food court.
Ah, finally remind everyone that you must rent a motorcycle close to your hotel, otherwise every time you return the car, you have to walk back in the hot weather or call a car back, which is very inconvenient. This hotel is located in a closed street, even if you call a car, you have to walk a distance. To be honest, it is still very painful in the hot afternoon. Then when renting or chartering a car outside, you must remember to bargain. I found that Lao people still often like to quote high prices to Chinese people. Maybe they guess that we Chinese will bargain.
This time I had a very pleasant experience in Luang Prabang, and the indispensable thing was the hotel booked. The hotel experience was very helpful and the staff who served us were very friendly and attentive. First of all, [Location], the hotel is located in the lively neighborhood of the main city, safe and secure, and secondly, non-foreigner streets and night market areas, so that it is far from the lively, will not be disturbed, it can be said to be quiet. And it is very close to Foreigner Street and the Mekong River; Secondly, [Health and equipment], there will be hygiene every day, but it will not disturb us, the hotel is very clean, you can slippers; showers, hair dryers, hot water and other facilities are normal, bathing and rest are very quiet and comfortable; [Service attitude] This hotel has a majority of foreigners living, and basically communicates with the service staff in English, without communication barriers. We must give our butler Khan a thumbs up, five-star praise, very enthusiastic, solve our various problems, and provide careful breakfast service, very warm. We also sent us when we left. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.
Good homestay and the boss is so nice, the amenities are also good.

CChicdeshitouniuOverall, good value for money.
I like the wooden style and the warmth and security brought by the locked door of the homestay.
The price is still very good.
The problem is that it is far away from the center, and we rely on bamboo bridges during dry seasons. After the bamboo bridges are gone, we mainly look at the feeder boats. The boats leave very late in the morning, and taxis in Laos are very expensive, which is always inconvenient. It doesn't matter if you rent a car.
The room is small, but the hygiene is good.
Bedding was torn. Bathroom shower and toilet cannot be separated.
XXinanzhanlang1979Friends, it's very good!
I plan to take my parents abroad to relax during the National Day holiday. After careful selection, I chose Thongbay. Because the company did not inform me of the holiday information in time, I used two apps to book hotels, both of which were Thongbay. The experience can only be said to be very good! When we left the hotel, the two elderly people also expressed high praise and strong reluctance, which made me very relieved.
Our English is not very good, and we are more worried about communication difficulties when we arrive, so I sent an email to the hotel in advance, explaining my itinerary and that I used two apps to book the hotel. The hotel quickly replied to me and said that they understood our itinerary.
When we arrived on the same day, we provided our passports, and the boss quickly got our itinerary and booking status. After a series of thoughtful instructions (including how to order breakfast for the next day, when the hotel can pick us up in the city for free, etc.), the boss took us into our room, which is very local and very clean.
In the room, the boss also told us very considerately and in detail how to use the shower, how to use the air conditioner, how to use the fan, and that we must close the doors and windows from 6:00-7:00pm, because the flower-legged mosquitoes are very dense during this period. During the explanation, as long as there is something that I don’t understand, the boss will patiently explain it again.
On the morning of the second day of check-in, we went to the waterfall. The driver we found came to pick us up in advance and told the boss about our trip to the waterfall. So when we were leaving, the boss stopped us and gave us a backpack, saying that there were towels and other supplies in it. If we finished swimming in the waterfall, we could use the towels inside. Really super considerate!
The most amazing thing is that on the third day of our stay, we went to the charity site and couldn't find the way back to the hotel. We finally followed the map and walked to the vicinity of the hotel. We met the hotel's puppy. The puppy must have gone out to play. When passing by us, it suddenly turned around and walked forward to lead the way. If we walked slowly, it would stop and wait for us. It took us to the door of the hotel. After the hotel owner said morning to us at the door, the puppy wagged its tail and turned around and walked away. Long live the puppy!
GGenya2kI had a very comfortable time in this place. What amazed me the most was the service provided by the host. He offered me a bigger room than the one I booked, then in the evening took me to the downtown and back by scooter (I didn’t want to walk in the dark on my first night), and in the morning he took me to a bike rental and helped to get the best deal. Very kind and friendly! The room was great, spacious and quiet, well-maintained and clean. I also could do my laundry for free, and dry my clothes at the backyard. The location is tad remote from the downtown but I preferred it this way, tranquil and more local. Also, there’s an amazing pizza place on the same street, you have to check it out! Wishing the best of luck to the owners!
GGuest UserGorgeous place to stay, beds were really comfy and huge, room was gorgeous and the little balcony area felt nice and private. Owners really helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!!
GGuest UserThe environment is good. The location is very good by the Mekong River. It is quiet and convenient for travel. There are many attractions nearby. It is very close to the night market and the morning market in the morning. It takes only a few minutes to get there. The inn is opened by Cantonese people. You can drink wine, tea, cook and wash clothes in the store. It is very natural.

AAnonymous UserGood location, just a short walk from the morning market and night market. Walk the other way and you'll reach the Mekong River. The room is quiet, the water flows strong, and the staff speak well. There is no cleaning of the room each day. You may have to tell the staff to come in and do it.

GGuest UserThis place is quiet, clean, has friendly helpful staff and in a great location. We have been so happy with our stay that we extended it another 3 nights. There are great places to eat everywhere. The breakfast included is good enough the only thing I could say negatively is the people who work in the restaurant across the street where you go for breakfast look very unhappy. But that’s not that big a deal.

GGuest UserSpotless clean and friendly staff, the hotel is located at around 15 minutes walk from downtown. They dispose of free bikes that can be used to roam around town, the place is quiet and with good vibes around the place.

Great
BBaomihuatuziThe environment of hotels in the old town is relatively old, but this one is really very clean. The cleaning lady cleans it more carefully than her own home. At this price, it is the first choice in the old town. The young couple who own the B&B are also very friendly. They helped to carpool to the waterfall and even invited me to have dinner with them on the first day (it was delicious, and they are cooking experts~). As long as you ask, they will tell you everything. If you come to Laos for the first time, choosing this place as your first stop will make you feel very at ease~
The location of the hotel is relatively perfect. It is very close to the night market and the morning market (not too close, otherwise it will be noisy). You don’t need to take a tuk-tuk when going out. You can walk everywhere. Anyway, I spent three days in Luang Prabang and didn't take a tutu. When you walk to the hotel intersection, you will see one of the routes for giving alms. The glutinous rice used for giving alms is sold on the roadside. The other side of the intersection is the Mekong River. The river water is yellow and ugly during the day, but once the sunset, my God, it feels like a movie. Walking along the river, there are restaurants everywhere, and the prices are very affordable. Just close your eyes and choose~
The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the minivan I took when I came here dropped me off at the wrong intersection. I dragged my luggage under the scorching sun and looked for the hotel for more than 10 minutes (I didn't buy a sim card in advance)

GGuest UserWhat a find! Away from the main street although easily walkable to the night market and bars and restaurants.
Carefully prepared breakfasts which we both enjoyed.
Rooms are large and individually decorated, cleaned daily. Really loved the beautiful decor.
Service was excellent. Any query was answered fully and suggestions for activities and restaurants given if and when required.
There was a lovely pool area with beds and chairs too.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend this boutique hotel for families or couples.
