1. Guest house entrance is through narrow lane. Room was clean and okay to live, plasters were coming out from wall, but toilet was clean to use. We got room on 1st floor, at opening window, there is public toilet for your view. 2. There is no tea and food facility at guest house, but you can find good tea just 100 meters away from guest house. 3. The best thing is its location, new market and esplanadae is just 500 meters away. 4. Easy to get taxi and bus to explore the city.

This is a great place for families on a budget. Their rooms are are large with high ceiling and the building is from British times. It can be rated as a decent guest house just 200 yards from New Market, 400 yards from the Museum and 500 yards from The Park street. Beds are large and extra bed can fit in easily. Attached large size washroom with hot water facilities. Rooms are air conditioned and good for family stay or short visit by executives on work. ***y food joints around street food small entries and decent restaurants within few minutes walk. I would rate it as 2 star. Housekeeping is ok. However no room service as nearby food joints deliver to the room of requested to the reception I charge. Clean and decent stay.

Everything was good about the hotel. Best thing about hotel is *they don't charge extra money other than booking* which most of the hotels do. I would like to rate 5/5 for hospitality. 5/5 for cleanliness. Location advantages: one can easily visit nearby dharmatala market and bus stand. It takes 10 mins drive to college street. It takes 20 mins drive to sealdah station.

Had a wonderful experience staying at this property....came to explore Kolkata and the place was perfect..cosy and clean rooms.. specially wanted to mention the caretaker whose name is Tapas and took very good care of the place and guests... would definitely want to stay again whenever we come to Kolkata and also refer this property to our friends and family
