JJiujiurenshengmeiThe room is spacious and bright, and the window is picturesque. The room of the Yongding Tower can be seen, which is refreshing. The sofa is simple and generous, and friends do not lose face when visiting. Attentive service, worthy of praise. 👍

AAnonymous UserStayed 5 nights, great service from housekeeping and front desk. The room however was not good in terms of noise cancellation. I can hear door bell from next room and people talking outside and from level 1 while I stayed at 3rd floor and no proper pick up and drop off at the hotel as hotel is located at level 2. First time guests may need some time to locate, not ideal if traveling with large luggage.

GGuest UserOverall, a good hotel when it comes to location, general cleanliness, and soundproofing, but not really friendly towards foreigners. The staff at the front desk really need to improve their service and attitude, they were quite unapproachable and unfriendly. They also didn’t provide clear instructions during check-in. Nothing on how to access amenities for example. Also, when I tried getting the late-night snack, they were just ignoring me on their phones. It’s only when another local guest indicated they should serve me first that they finally took notice. I felt uncomfortable approaching them with questions after my first encounter with them. The only time they suddenly cared was during check-out when they tried to pressure me into leaving a 5 star review on the spot while they watched. It would be better if they just gently remind people to leave a review if they wish to. For breakfast, there were lots of options but they should really label things and clearly indicate dietary restrictions like meat or allergens. It seems like this is not a thing in China but if you are catering towards foreigners, not everyone can just eat anything. Lastly, for anyone who is really sensitive to smoke, I asked for a smoke-free room but could still smell it, especially in the shower. Not sure if the smell is coming through from other rooms, but either way you will catch a whiff.

Wwfr0123I spent a long time choosing this room, and after checking in, I truly felt like I made the right choice 🥰🥰. The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic; when I checked in and saw a crowd, they guided me to an adjacent counter to process my check-in 🫰. The hotel facilities are relatively new and all feature smart technology. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and it's spacious with two sinks. The faucet water flow is very quiet, with no strange noises. The room design is excellent and the layout is well-planned, with thoughtful touches everywhere 😘😘. Coffee and tea are neatly arranged in separate drawers, and there's even a mini-bar cart. I highly recommend it. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Universal Studios, and you can even see Harry Potter from the hotel.

JJO.DSJinyu Hutong subway station is just next to the hotel (less than a min walk) which is really convenient given how slow traffic can be in Beijing. It’s convenient to get to most attractions. The staff are polite and would help you keep parcels sent to the hotel (you can retrieve easily by providing your waybill number). If you order ******* or any food deliveries, they’ll send them up quickly with the robot. Really convenient. You could also communicate with them via WeChat. In terms of amenities there’s a laundry room which you can use but most of the time it’s occupied 😅. Other stuff are pretty basic like toiletries, slippers etc. For the price and location, it’s worth it. Opposite the hotel is APM mall and you could walk to wangfujing shopping street also. Starbucks is next door as well. Just a small bone to pick - the bedsheets weren’t changed despite the housekeeping informing us that they’ll be changed every 3 days.

YYaobutengWhile the room design isn't as trendy as some modern express hotels, it meets industry standards, which is to be expected from a hotel under China Southern Airlines. This isn't a resort-style accommodation; it's primarily for travelers needing convenience, especially those with early morning flights. The hotel offers a shuttle bus every half hour, getting you to the airport in just 5 minutes, making transportation incredibly convenient. Plus, there's a supermarket downstairs and various restaurants within walking distance, so the amenities are very comprehensive.

MMaria.ezI usually struggle to feel comfortable in hotels because I’m very much a “homey” person, but this place truly made me feel at home. The first thing that hits you is the size – the square meters are crazy. I’ve never stayed in such a huge apartment before, and it has a real wow-effect. The apartment has absolutely everything – dishwasher, plates, knives, bottle opener, you name it. I also really liked the shampoos and conditioners, which are much better quality than what you usually find in hotels. The bathroom is spacious, the design is lovely, and everything feels high quality – from the washing machine down to the shower gel. The swimming pool and breakfast were also very enjoyable. That said, there were a couple of downsides. The place is so big that the cleaning isn’t always perfect – we noticed some signs of missed cleaning, and unfortunately we even saw a cockroach in the kitchen. I also noticed that the kitchen staff didn’t wear hats or hair restraints, which was a bit off-putting. Location-wise, it’s far from tourist attractions and the subway – it took us about 40 minutes by taxi to get to the Forbidden City. Still, despite these issues, this is a wonderful place to stay. I fell in love with the Ascott chain and would definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

IIris-kaI recently stayed at the Grand Concordia Hotel and had a memorable experience. We booked two double beds, which, while comfortable, were a bit on the smaller side for a family of four. The hotel has an old-world charm that creates a unique vibe; it's definitely a place with character! One of the highlights was the breakfast spread, which was impressive and offered a variety of options to start the day right. We particularly enjoyed the fresh fruits and local delicacies. The swimming pool was another fantastic feature. It’s worth noting that you need to wear a swim hat, which they sell for 20 CNY. The pool area was well-maintained, and we made good use of it during our stay. Overall, Grand Concordia offers a blend of history and modern amenities that made our trip enjoyable. I would recommend it to those looking for something a bit different in Beijing.

GGuest UserBooked for five nights, from Feb 13th to 18th. We decided to take our child on a trip before the Chinese New Year. Honestly, I expected a standard room for around 300 RMB during this time to be just 'barely acceptable,' and the hotel lobby was quite small, more like a guesthouse. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. It was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The only drawback was that the space was a bit small, but the bed wasn't tiny. For a family of four (two adults, two kids), one large bed didn't feel cramped at all. The only real issue in winter was not having enough space to hang clothes. I imagine a deluxe standard room or a family room would be much better. The hotel is conveniently located; exit and turn left, and in about a hundred meters, you'll reach F-exit of Caishikou Subway Station, making lines 4 and 7 easily accessible. It's also not far from Niujie; you can take a bus for just one yuan, which is about two stops away. We actually walked back to the hotel after having dinner in Niujie.

YYuyeyoumingAfter looking at three or four hotels, I decided to stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing for my trip to Beijing, mainly because of its proximity to the subway, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel itself is quite grand, and while the service is very traditional, it gets the job done. I contacted the hotel in advance and asked the front desk to book a room on the highest floor within the same price range, with a view of the CCTV Tower. They managed to arrange all of this, which I was very pleased with. However, the hotel is a bit old-fashioned; if you order takeout, there's no robot or staff to deliver it, so you have to go down and pick it up yourself. The room itself is quite spacious and also has a traditional feel. One quirky thing is the power outlets: one nightstand has an outlet, but the other doesn't. This made it impossible to charge my phone while lying in bed, so I had to go to the supermarket the next day to buy an extension cord. Also, the power outlets are quite old-fashioned, not the new national standard, and many of them are loose. The bathroom has two showerheads, a main one and a side one. I assume the side one is for people sitting down, but one thing they might not have considered is where to put clean clothes for changing. If you put them inside, they'll get wet during the shower. If you put them outside, isn't it a bit awkward to walk out naked? The breakfast buffet at the hotel is quite good, with a wide variety of dishes. The mini hash browns, in particular, taste exactly like the ones sold at McDonald's and KFC. Finally, I want to especially thank the bespectacled housekeeper on the 24th floor. Her service was excellent, she was very polite, and the room was cleaned impeccably. She left a particularly good and warm impression. I didn't take many photos of the hotel, so consider these for reference. Also, the Hema Supermarket is about 600-700 meters west of the hotel, which is convenient for buying things.
