Hotel view was lit, especially when you can see Mt Fuji on a very good day. Location is very near to the Mishima station, the lobby is on the second floor of the building next to the Mishima station. You can get your Fuji express bus tickets just outside the station. Bus to the Gotemba outlet is also around the same area. Hotel cleanliness was good. However the reception was so so, as they did not provide further help when I seek for their assistance as I had left my backpack on the Shinkansen. The highest floor has an open bath for both women and male, requires a card to reach there. Hotel room provides the necessary towels in a basket for you to bring up and the toiletries are available as well. Would be a good view to see sunrise or sunset of Mt Fuji from the high level if there’s a chance. The room TV shows you the vacancy of the open bath and washing machine but it was not accurate for the open bath.

The room is quite big, divided into a sleeping area (Western style) and a leisure area (Japanese style), very cost-effective, it was dinner time when we arrived at the hotel, the hotel has wagyu bento to choose from (there is also a restaurant), very good, the room faces the sea, you can enjoy the sea view in the morning, there is a hotel shuttle bus to the JR station

JR Numazu Station is a 3-minute walk away. There is a pizza shop and Lawson downstairs, and a McDonald's opposite. From the south exit, you can take a bus to Numazu Port for seafood. The location is very convenient for travel. The surrounding environment is very peaceful and we spent a comfortable night here. The hotel facilities are very new. There are massage chairs, bathtubs, ironing boards and plenty of space in the room. The supplies are also very high-end, including Sekkisei and DHC. recommend!

I suppose the charm of Atami is that the whole area is a little bit 'dated' as far as a resort goes, and this hotel definitely aligns with that - it seems like a place that was once great and is now kind of just rolling along bringing in what money it can. The food is serviceable but totally uninspired - an upscale cafeteria masquerading as something better than it is with 'chefs' wearing their whites. The entire dining room constantly smells of fryer oil from the tempura - which they still make and keep stock of in such large quantities that it is never fresh and crispy anyways (especially the shrimp, which has not been sufficiently dried before battering). The remaining hot dishes are very disappointing both in terms of variety and overall flavor. The sushi and sashimi is the standout of the food, although it too is very basic - not anything that will blow your mind, but acceptably tasty and reasonably fresh (although on our second night everything tasted a bit soapy/bleachy). As a westerner you will be very disappointed by the breakfast, although that's a 'me' problem rather than a hotel problem per se. The spa facilities are nice but a bit dated - be careful in your selection of both time and location unless you want to be surrounded with many loud (mostly Chinese) children. Private spas are available and are quite nice, although again dated. Nonetheless at around 60 USD for an hour the price is good for the privacy, especially as a westerner who is otherwise subject to quite a bit of staring at this mostly local and Chinese spa. We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed, and a (For japan) reasonably sized tub. Room and desk service was good. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but has regular free shuttles to/from Atami station, which is where the main tourist streets for shopping etc can be found. Highly suggest checking out Golden Eye for some excellent Ramen.

The hotel looks quite luxurious from the outside, and the interior is also decorated in an old-fashioned style. It is overall clean and tidy, and the breakfast is also good.

Hotel is about 15 to 20 mins walk from Kawazu train station, no worries as they provide free shuttle service to and fro hotel and Kawazu station, however do take note of timetable. Room was big and view was fantastic as facing the sea, breakfast was sumptuous too especially the miso soup and raddish and beef stew. We came here for Sakura but in view of cold snap blooming season was delayed this year, Kawazu town can be boring as most shop including restaurant closed after 5pm. We were also told that there is no taxi available after 5pm. Overall stay was great including onsen, will definitely book again if I am back in Kawazu.

Stayed at this hotel for one night just for the view of mt fuji, did not use too much of the amenities. Travelled to gotemba premium outlets but it’s a bit troublesome to get back to the hotel, quite difficult to get a taxi - had to go to jr gotemba station and took a while before we managed to get back. Location is a bit far out and very few trips for the free shuttle bus. The cleanliness of the room is just alright, a bit of mould but it’s okay.

Advantages: The price is cheaper than other old hotels on this coastline, the sunrise is beautiful, the sea is beautiful, the scenery is beautiful, the beach is white, and the sand is very fine. There is a shrine next to it, and there is a seaside torii. Disadvantages: The place is remote and will waste time on public transportation, and public transportation here is also inconvenient. The hotel is very old and the rooms are very old. Choose the tatami room carefully because there are many insects. It is basically equivalent to no service, and you have to do everything yourself. Starting with a piece of paper, all the facilities of the hotel must be studied and explored by yourself. I met a Japanese guest with a serious skin disease (suspected to be plum) in the big bath. I was scared and dared not wash. I went back to the room and rubbed it twice. The staff saw it but did not stop the person from entering the bathhouse. Arranging a room next to the elevator on the lower floor can only be said to be the basic operation of daily life.

The hotel was great, wonderful service, good food, nice staff overall, however, Fuua spa was a bit disappoint with no extra towels to use. I would suggest to bring a bottle of drinking water or you would have to purchase. We stayed in the mountain side because it was cheaper but the ocean view would be great. You can see ropeway going up and down on the mountain side. Bus runs for free between the station and the hotel every 20 minutes or so. No reservation needed. It’s right in front of McDonalds at the station. Bus is not large. I would suggest to get there a bit early if you want to sit with your company together. You have a half off ropeway discount in the card you get at the check in counter so don’t throw it away after check out the hotel :)

The room is very clean, the overall facilities look very new, the room faces the sea, with large floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see the Atami Bay from a distance when you get up, very comfortable. The beverage bar on the first floor will be replenished in time, and there are actually staff to help solve any problems. The bathhouse on B1 is not crowded, and it is also very clean. It is very comfortable to take a bath after a day of fun. There is a rooftop on the top floor where you can lie on the net bed to watch the stars. There is even a party room, children's books and office cubicles on the second floor, which is really thoughtful.

The hotel has a wabi-sabi design, comfortable rooms, elegant environment, clean and tidy, convenient transportation, first-class service, delicious food, and a hot spring resort that you would want to stay in again! The hotel's Japanese breakfast is varied (stayed for four days, and it was different every day!), healthy and fresh; the reserved Japanese dinner is elegant, leisurely, full of ritual sense, and worthy of being called ”cooking”! The hotel room has a Lutian bath, which is clean and convenient. It is very relaxing and relaxing every day... In short, this modern Japanese hotel is the first choice for vacation!

Although I was a little concerned about the dirt at the edge of the shower room, the open-air bath was great and the rooftop pool was also very fun. Drinks were also available for purchase, so I was happy to play in the pool while drinking alcohol and then relax in the hot spring afterwards.

Their service is wonderful. We left a charger in our room and they quickly locate it and return it. I understand that they use a plastic bag to hold all customer property left in their room and labelled it with dates and room no. This shows how they care about their customers and address to things systemically with every single details. This is one of the many times I forgot things in hotel and public transport and can get things back every time. Speechless!

Hotel has shuttle bus from the JR station. But is OK just to walk over as there are some small shops worth a look. Breakfast and dinner are good. With lot of Japanese traditional dishes. Hot spa and laundry is an add on plus with this reasonable price of the hotel. This is the hotel I stay every time when in Atami.

Traditional hot spring-style inn, all meals in the room. The room has 2 floors, the lower level is the dining area, the upper level is the bedroom, washroom, bathroom, and a small patio area overlooking the beach. From Atami Station to the inn, it takes about 10 minutes to drag your luggage around the road. It takes about 5 minutes to walk up the stairs without luggage. It's about a 10-minute walk from the guesthouse to Atami Sunshine Beach to watch the fireworks festival. The inn staff was courteous, explaining what each dish was and how it should be eaten, and reminding us that it was time to leave for the fireworks festival. Although the cost of accommodation was greatly increased due to the fireworks festival, it was a good stay experience overall.

There is a fireworks festival during the summer vacation. The price-performance ratio is really average. The VIP viewing area on the top floor of the hotel is okay. The men's and women's hot springs are exchanged in turns every day. You can see different views. I am not used to the breakfast. It is very average.

thank you so much,...Trip.com for a reasonable price atagawakan hotel in izu peninzula.In front private beach,sky and sea view hot spring and luckily the fireworks in front of hotel aug.20,it's so fantastic.The hospitable of the staff,most of them are seniors...and the near attractions banana and alligator tour,there is a magical fruit there that when you eat this the lemon will become sweets,...and also the fabulous breakfast at room.But they don't served dinner,anyways there is an dining place around there...but need to walk uphill..everywhere there's a smoke of hotsprings.Want to come back here again next summer.The big wave of the beach are scary but there are so many so young and masculine lifeguards here,you can watch their rehearsal so early in the morning from veranda of the hotel together with the beautifull sunrise

I made a reservation two days in advance during the busy end-of-year period, but it was on the top floor with an ocean view, and the view of the sea from the window was wonderful. The sunrise rising right in front of me was especially beautiful! Perhaps because there were not many guests, the automatic door at the entrance was turned off, the souvenir shop at the front desk was closed, and the information on the vending machines on the bath floor was still outdated, so it didn't seem like the management was very motivated... The restaurant staff were very friendly. I was very thirsty after taking a bath, and I really wished there was free water in the room (you can only buy it from the vending machine). There was also wifi in the room, but it was very slow, and videos took a long time to load. There were many things I felt were lacking overall, but for better or worse, it was nice to be able to spend a quiet and relaxing time as it was almost like we had the place to ourselves, so it was nice.

The hotel is very beautiful, the decoration is very traditional, the room view 180 degree sea view, you can see the sunrise and sunset, the name of the hotel can be seen 😍 Dinner and breakfast are very delicious 👏👏 Absolutely sincerely recommend ❤️

I really like Ginsui-so, especially the breakfast and dinner. I ate delicious food after hiking to Hosono Plateau. The room was close to the edge, but the sea view was still beautiful. I went to the hot spring alone at sunrise to see the orange and blue sky and sea. I didn't expect that the bathhouse was full of early risers. Everyone was polite and quiet. It was a wonderful experience. I went to the lounge bar in the evening to drink a glass of shochu and a glass of whiskey. I couldn't see the night sea clearly, but it was relaxing and leisurely.

The hotel is on the mountain and a little hard to find. The waiters are warm and hospitable. The environment is quiet and suitable for a quiet rest. Each room has a private bath and there are two public baths for private use. One night and two meals are provided. There is only one small restaurant. Most rooms have room service. The room I booked has room service.

It was a Japanese style that I liked very much. I felt like I was in a room in a Japanese drama! What's even more exciting is that I can actually take a hot spring bath for free! After the bath, I felt that all the fatigue and troubles were taken away by the warm spring water, leaving only relaxation. This is the meaning of vacation! I will come to take a bath again if I have the chance.

We reserved a 10:00 shuttle for 8 people the night before departure, but by the time we arrived(before 10)they told us the bus is full so that we can not get in. I wonder if we made a reservation, we should be promised to have 8 seats or else it should not be called as a reservation but a “bus schedule”. Also, we told the staff multiple times that we are in a hurry that we need to catch the train and that’s why we made a reservation in advance. The staff also told us the next shuttle will come at 10:21 but actually it leaves at 10:31 which means we definitely missed the train ( if the staff communicated the time 10:31 clearly, we would walk to the station so we could still catch the train, instead, he said the bus will come at 10:21 so we wait) Huge disappointment and definitely a ****** to this trip. Please remove the bus reservation service as you don’t have any, thanks.

The breakfast was very rich, and you can choose from a variety of delicious dishes in the buffet restaurant. The hot spring pool is a public large pool with both indoor and outdoor areas. The environment is quiet and comfortable, and there are several small shops with good food.

I have to say this key surprised me, haha. I haven’t seen it for many years. 1: The front desk clerk is Nepalese, speaks good Japanese and English with an accent, but can communicate. 2: There is no mineral water or toiletries in the room. If you need it, pick it up on the first floor. (There is iced water, bring a bottle to collect it). 3: There are various free items: iced water, cold drinks, popcorn, udon noodles, coffee, etc. Please pay attention to the time. 4: Hot springs, 5: When you check in, you will be told various times to pay attention to, so go according to the times.
