Strategic location surrounding with nice food. As a 5 star hotel, some policies for example tooth brush only provide upon request, charge on extra water should be revisit / review.
Amazing stay! We booked a Space suite. Spacious. Nice view outside the bedroom balcony and windows. Relaxing stay. Jacuzzi was exceptional my son had a fabulous time. Hotel has small gestures that made you feel welcoming. Some snacks and drinks everyday in case you needed some nibbles.
The safe wasn't working twice, said it had an error. Our room was right at the end and staff came and sorted it out from the time I called them to finishing the set up took under 10 minutes.
3rd time I called them the toilet had bubbles coming up from the draining hole. Staff came and sorted it out in the middle of the night in 10 minutes. Really efficient service!
Making up room was so fast. I went down for breakfast 1hr. Spotless when I came back.
Breakfast was really nice. A large variety and we were able to book in advance for 3 different timeslots to choose from. Avoided long queuing and waiting for food. Any nationality would find something they'd like.
The water park was amazing! Big enough for my son to get tired. Suitable for all ages. Water wasn't deep. You'd feel safe.
Children's clubhouse was nice. 2 floored. Could sign up for different activities, ensured every child had a fair share of the activities.
The hotel would give you tokens where you'd be able yo exchange it for a souvenir or two. This was quite a nice gesture.
Hotel is around 10mins walk to a shopping centre and some smaller shops. Big enough to get a nice bite to eat and to look around.
Memorable stay, would definitely consider coming back! The hotel was recommended by two of my other friends. I thought it couldn't be that great but it definitely lived up to my expectations and I've stayed in a lot of nice hotels around the world.

I stayed at this hotel for 4nights, i enjoyed the swimming pool, alot, the location is central to everything, the beach is at your doorstep, walking distance to 7/11, all shops & bars, however, the hotel is currently under construction & what disturbed me alot, was that drilling every morning at 8, that woke me up, it was so annoying especially after a late night. I also observed that the cleaners would fold the same dirty towels you put in the washing, also room service is terrible. At the swimming pool you have to sign out for your towels but there is no sign in column when you bring them back, also no assistance with the umbrellas which are all closed on very hot days. I also got some attitude with the cleaning staff, room service , bellboy & service at the swimming pool, also guest relations, i asked where is the other swimming pool, she was too busy with her phone to give get up & show me, she just said,’go straight’, i walked & walked & could not find it. This hotel can be the perfect stay if only they improve their service.
Overall the hotel is good but plenty of rooms for improvements do exist.
Breakfast is the best part of the hotel with various choices. However, there is a room design failure. The shower room is way too large and wasted a space that could have accommodated a nice sofa with a decent small table for guests convenience. On the other hand, Akara does not provide one-time slippers for guests which is not hygienic! How come it can be called a five star hotel?! But the fact is they do have it and can give you not until you call the front desk for it!! It is really bad. Why don’t you put them in place beforehand?
Further, nowadays many new hotels purchase high-tech image with all controls of the room confined into a single touch screen which is ironically inconvenient! Appropriate physical buttons existence of controlling anything inside the room is still vital.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Indoor parking is available with easy access up the building. The room was fully equipped and neatly organized, and the massive smart TV was a personal highlight—definitely a win in my book!
All the staff were friendly and attentive, providing warm, professional service throughout our short stay. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to spend much time at the hotel as we had to head back to Bangkok early.
We booked the Oceanfront room, which had a great view, but one drawback was the lack of privacy. The room was located right next to the pool, and families with young children started swimming early in the morning, creating quite a bit of noise. The glass doors didn’t block sound well, so if you’re looking for peace and quiet, I’d recommend choosing a different room type.
Despite that, I was still very impressed with the overall experience. I’d definitely consider returning for another stay!
The guidelines for the water park area were not specific and clear. I didn’t know there were lockers for storing my belongings or where I could get a towel. The breakfast was fair, although there was a lot of food and drinks.
Fortunately, the front desk provided a higher room floor for me to remedy the total experience. Overall, there was a good experience during this stay
🛏️ Oceanfront deluxe sky pool #2621
We have extra bed prepared in our room which is very comfy. The room is spacious with ocean view on high floor. We enjoyed spending moment chillin’ at the balcony.
We got complementaries from this room type
✅ Free breakfast @ SORA
✅ Free afternoon tea 2-5 pm
✅ Free happy hour 6-7:30 pm
There are choices if dining you can enjoy. Over the moon on rooftop, or Under the Sun on the courtyard by the beachfront
❎the glass door is not thick. We
can hear the wind sound all night. And by the day time, we can feel the heat on the glass.
Mandarin Eastville Pattaya – A Delightful Stay from Start to Finish
Over the past weekend, I had the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing getaway in Pattaya with a group of friends. We chose to stay at Mandarin Eastville Pattaya. Initially, I was quite hesitant to make the booking, as I had never stayed at this hotel before. Additionally, the room rates were relatively affordable, which made me wonder about the quality. However, I ultimately decided to give it a try — and I’m very glad I did.
Upon arrival, I found that guests who book a Classic room are required to check in at the white building located at the back of the property. The lobby was pleasantly surprising — it was elegant, and the subtle fragrance throughout created a relaxing atmosphere. During check-in, the staff provided clear and detailed information. I would especially like to commend Ms. Lee, who was both friendly and informative. Her warm and engaging manner helped ease the heat and made the check-in experience even more pleasant.
To my surprise, when I entered the room, I discovered that it was not the one I had originally booked — in a good way! It turned out that the hotel had generously upgraded all three of our rooms, which was truly impressive and appreciated.
The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and well air-conditioned. The bed and bedding were of high quality, comparable to those of 4- to 5-star hotels. In my opinion, this level of comfort at such a price point is exceptional. I also found the bathroom to be particularly spacious and well-designed. The swimming pool was another highlight, with separate sections for adults and children, making it ideal for both friends and families with young kids.
We had breakfast at the restaurant near the lobby. While the dining area felt a bit crowded due to the number of guests (possibly because it was a weekend), it wasn’t a major issue. The hotel ensured that the food was constantly replenished — nothing was left empty for long, which demonstrated great attention to detail.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at Mandarin Eastville Pattaya. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, comfort, and value for money makes this property highly recommendable. Whether you're traveling with friends or family, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I would not hesitate to return on my next visit to Pattaya.
This is my second time here. The first time I slept in a building, this time I slept in a villa with a garden view. Overall, it's an old hotel, as is, well taken care of, so it's not too run down. The first time the air conditioning wasn't cool, this time I found a room with a room with a cool air conditioning again. The hot water is a bit hard to adjust. Most importantly, there are a lot of mosquitoes that bite in broad daylight, so you have to carry mosquito spray with you. But the location is good, even though it's in an alley by the sea, you have to walk through a large pool to get to the sea. There are a lot of swimming pools, it's not crowded around the hotel, there are restaurants, massage shops, minimarts, at night there's a bar by the sea.
Pro:
- Nice full sea view from the hotel room
- Spacious room
- Instagrammable swimming pool area
- Walking distance to terminal 21 (15 min walking)
- Friendly staffs
- Shuttle service is provided to certain area
Con:
- Noisy air-cond, unable to adjust the temperature and the wind blow to the bed directly
- less variety of breakfast selection

GGuest UserToilet n shower bit old, rooms are spacious but less lighting in rooms, I was lucky to have corner room which have 2 balconies to me.
JJuliaKokunovaWe had a wonderful time at this hotel!
The room was simply magnificent, very clean, comfortable for a family with children, comfortable beds. The bathroom was wonderful, I really enjoyed taking a bath. It was great to have a washing machine, this is really a big advantage in the hotel. The children had a great time in the water park on the roof! We would be happy to come again!
one remark: there was no clothesline available.

SSahenHighly impressive hotel in Pattaya. It's very close to pattaya beach. Hotel have a Swimming pool, it’s clean and big. Smoking zone also clean and stuffs very friendly. Their customer service are very professional & im impressed.
BBen_inChinaWhat a resort!! Wow! Although not perfect.. the facilities and the rooms, villas and surrounding customer service.. all the staff, simply amazing 👏 we really appreciated to have such care and attention at each step of our stay. The villa for 2 bedroom also amazing and it was very kind of the reception manager to allow us to see the 3 bedroom villa for our next stay.
One small thing.. the food in the restaurants on half board could do with a little more options and also the breakfast. All was a little too spicy or Asian.
Regardless of anything, we will be back!

GGuest UserI experienced the wonderful and amazing journey at Royal Cliff Beach Terrace. I was touched deeply by their genuine hospitality, delicious food, clean room, and beautiful view.
Specially, the senior deputy resident manager, CB, gave me a big surprise for my birthday since I didn't tell them when check-in! We went outside in the early morning and came back very late; however CB didn't give up to contact us for birthday greetings. Until dinner, CB found us in one of Royal Cliff restaurants and led the team to come to our table with brithday music, wishes, birthday cake, flowers, and handwritten card. Unforgettable! Even if at this moment, my moving and feeling are still boiling. Thank you so much, CB and Royal Cliff!
In addition, dining by the sea impressed us as well. It is really worthy absolutely to enjoy the private beach, dedicated service, beautiful sunset, only one table, and delicious/sufficient seafood. The service is very good as well. Manger and deputy manager (NP) welcome us in front of the lobby and recorded us by video and photo for memory.
Thank you Royal Cliff! I will go back again!

GGuest UserGreat room with private pool. Spacious and well equipped. Love breakfast selections especially the freshly pressed juice on demand. The staffs are super nice and friendly. Will definitely come back.
