Good service and Nice breakfast,I appreciate the front desk staff Mone, the staff (male), and the restaurant staff! They are very helpful. First, We missed the shuttle bus at first day about 3:01pm, he saw the bus just had gone and he ran to catch and stopped it. Then we got up late at the second day, the last order should be 9:30pm.but we forgot the time, they still let us to take the breakfast. Last , Mone always keep her smiling face to help booking the taxi and packing our gift, and also introducing the surrounding scenic spot. Thank you so much!
The hotel seems a bit dated but very well maintained with an old world charm. The room was reasonably sized and i really liked they implemented a lounge for all guests to access from 2-7pm with a wide range of drinks even sake and wine.
My best appraise is for the services in both of reception and restaurant, especially the staffs from Nepal and Max from Indonesia. Many thanks for the sincere service and patience to my naughty boy, he missed you a lot and he promised to come again next year to see you then. For me, the soundproofing effectiveness is really not friendly, I woke up by the car noises outside many time in the nite😭
The hotel where the emperor stayed, the royal comfort, every day to visit Nara Park Todaiji, very convenient, beautiful surrounding scenery. I stayed here a few years ago, this time I stayed here again, although the price is a bit more expensive, but the accommodation experience is very good. The hotel specifications are very high. There are shuttle buses to Nara JR and Kintetsu. The driver uncle is very dedicated. I have two 30-inch and 28-inch heavy suitcases, he enthusiastically helped us get the whole thing on and off the car, without the help of other young employees, I admire it. There is a Chinese and English Buddhist classics in the room, and the TV has a Chinese channel to watch anti-Japanese war movies.
The room is spacious and the bed is quite comfortable, but the pillow is too flat.
The soundproofing effect is so-so, and the sound from the corridor can be clearly heard in the room.
The air conditioner is loud.
There are convenience stores, restaurants, 24-hour self-service laundry shops, and daily necessities supermarkets within 5-10 minutes.
The neighborhood is quieter after dark, but safe.
It takes only 5 minutes to walk to Kashihara Jingumae Station. The road is flat and you don't need to go up and down the elevator.
There is a lounge on the 1st floor that provides snacks.
From 8pm to 10pm, the hot spring bath will provide ”amazake”👍
But there is no self-service laundry and dry cleaning service.
The bath is time-limited, not 24 hours.
If you stay consecutively, you can request to clean the room every other day. The cleaning level is standard.
There is a 2D Barcode on the information sheet to check the mixing situation of the bath.
Overall, the hotel is new and looks very nice. For family traveling, it is not very convenient, especially if you have strollers as there are places without ramps, only stairs.
There is not much amenities you can use in the property without paying extra. With such a high room price, you would expect more.
The location is very close to the Nara park and you can see deers inside the property.
The included breakfast can be better, I don’t think the portion is enough, but they do provide rice if you need more.
