Service was very good upon arrival, during the stay and upon check-out, staff were nice and friendly. Booked a beachfront pool villa, so i was surprised that there is no beach for us to walk, hence was disappointed considering the price we paid for. My mood turns better with the sunny day and the great wind blowing towards out villa. no bicycles were available during our stay as they were all taken up, hence we didn't walk around the resort as our villa was one of the furthest. will need to request buggy service whenever we wanted to go somewhere. To those who wishes to try their spa, the therapist and the massage room are nice. Please remember to book in advance before you reach, i wanted to massage for 2 days but only managed to get a 2hr slot for 1 of the days even though i book in 2 days advance. Breakfast was okay, but the dinner buffet that day was a Grill buffet at the beach which costs us around SGD100 per pax. The food spread and taste was not worth the price, hence we spend the rest of the meals with the in-villa dining which taste better. There are free traditional dance performance and delicous dessert for us for celebration of Hari Raya, greatly appreciated for the effort.

I chose Montigo Resort Nongsa to celebrate my partner's birthday, and honestly, they made it special. I left a note mentioning that it was my partner's birthday and the team truly went the extra mile to surprise him in the evening with a birthday cake with candles all ready, and even a sweet ”Happy Birthday” spelt out with flowers on our bed. It was such a thoughtful touch, huge props to the team for that effort! The view from our private pool at night is stunning. It was so peaceful with sky full of stars and we were able to see the lights of Singapore across the water from our room. The resort location isn't exactly convenient as it sits outside of the Batam central area where all the malls are at, but this is definitely the place for a quiet and chillax weekend getaway. The only thing that wasn't quite perfect was the breakfast spread and water. The breakfast was below standard type of bad in terms of taste and available selection for a resort of this price point. More importantly is that we did notice quite some small black bits floating around in the pool, and the water for the bathtub had this yellow tinge (we leave it running for 20 min and it's still slightly yellow, and the water flowing out turned cold after 20 min). Although, these weren't a huge deal-breaker cause both of us don't use the bathtub, but it's something I think the resort should seriously look into if they are positioning themselves as a high-end resort. Overall though, despite that the issues, our stay at Montigo Nongsa was fantastic. The amazing service, especially that lovely birthday surprise, and those incredible nighttime views completely won us over. If they can just sort out the water situation, it would be absolutely top-notch. We're already thinking about when we can plan our next visit!

Beautiful and clean resort. The view is million dollar view just sitting at the pool enjoying the strong breeze. The room is very clean and good room size. The shuttle bus service is top notch with free transport from Ferry terminal to the resort. Have variety of restaurants scattered around the resorts with different sea views. Will come back again.

We were very pleased with our experience at The Sanchaya! Greg and his staff were so hospitable we felt comfortable and at ease from the moment we arrived at the Ferry Terminal. The service and facilities were excellent..from the room service to the dining areas. Movie Choices were so updated and wide. Good quality toiletries and snacks in the room minibar We had a little miscommunication about a service fee and were so grateful that they patiently hear us out and resolved it quickly. Thank you Greg, Nawa, Madon, Wawan, Vivi and all the staff at The Sanchaya for a memorable stay!

The property has lots of potential and service staff have wonderful attitude. it just opened in Oct, so not everything is fully up just yet. It was generally a nice stay but several small disappointments added up and we conclude we would stay elsewhere if we returned to Bintan (although probably not soon). - we were fortunate to get the room early at check-in (~1230pm) cos the room was ready. - F&B team had the most hiccups. we had late lunch on the first day - the restaurant was not busy but they could not cope with orders. we waited over 40mins and other tables that came later were served before us. food was not even piping hot when it arrived, which is weird—was it sitting around and just not served?? - subsequent days’ breakfast at the same and only restaurant also always had something up. e.g. long waits, forgotten orders, and when we asked about items, two of them would turn up. that said, all the staff were super nice, and we’re grateful — albeit still disappointed. - the room was very pretty but there’s an impractical design flaw on the hanging lamp on the bedside. it rattles every now and then due to the AC. i ignored it fine but it drove my husband mad 😅 he had to cushion it with a hand towel. - the in-room phone was also strange. we had to try many times to dial ‘0’ for guest services — there’s no other number to call. it sometimes sounded like it was ringing/connecting but nothing was happening. - housekeeping didn’t clean our room the whole time we were out on day 2. only came when we were back resting at 5+pm. - indigo doesn’t allow sharing of facilities with sister hotel, which frankly is a missed opportunity these days. i’ve lost count of the number of resorts who do it and market it as a plus point. it almost seems weird that they don’t when it’s virtually connected to IHG. - hadn’t realise this but they don’t brand themselves as a family hotel so there’s no kids club. don’t pick this place if u need a place to entertain your kids. i was surprised that a beach resort didn’t have a kids club 😆 - the hotel wanted to impose a surcharge on my 5yo who was sharing the same room same bed and not (in my opinion) consuming significantly more resources than another guest who may have been just a couple without a kid. we’ve been to many other properties that brag a “kids stay free” concept unless u ask for an extra pullaway bed. anyways, while the charge is relatively common, when asked about what the charge goes toward, the explanation i was offered was weak. and after the stay, all the more i didn’t feel there was much to justify this so called additional charge.

Excellent service from all the team there no matter the department.. Excellent if you're looking for a very private, relaxing getaway. Stayed for 2 days, 1 night. They're kind enough to let us have an early check-in and late checkout at 5 pm with a small top-up, which I felt was fair.We enjoyed ourselves just being in the villa. The toilet has a slight drainage smell, which can be quite overpowering at certain times, but no problem, we just closed the door when not in use. A cockroach came to visit us in the toilet at night, but it's understandable as it has an open concept toilet. Food prices, in my opinion, are at a very high side, even for a resort. The breakfast buffet was good even though I saw a few unfavourable comments here. The only thing that I felt was a downside for our trip is the food prices. Sure, you can have a choice of venturing out to get food, but sometimes you just want to be indoors in the beautiful villa

The hotel enjoys a convenient location, just 10 minutes from Batam Center.  It is well-maintained and offers a diverse culinary selection with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. However, the service significantly fell short of expectations, representing a major deficiency.  For instance, the promised Wi-Fi connection to the television remained unestablished for two days despite requests for assistance.  Substantially improved service is required.

3D2N stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Complimentary shuttle bus to hotel & ferry terminal. Excellent services from all Natra Bintan hotel's staff, they were so warm & welcoming! Our room was decorated & a slice of cake was provided. Breakfast spread was gd & delicious, room was clean, staffs always make up room daily so if you do not want to make up room better put the ”Do not disturb” sign on door handle. Cannot hear neighbours, but you do hear aeroplane flying noise in the middle of night, birds chipping at 6am plus so if you are a light sleeper then you might find it hard to get a gd sleep. Hotel provides buggy services to bring us to room, different parts of Treasure Bay. 20% off activities at Treasure Bay for being Natra guests. Only 3 restaurants which are at Natra, Anmon & Treasure Bay activity centre. Had western lunch at Anmon hotel once but food was average, Natra's food was much better. Will definitely consider Natra for our next Bintin trip due to the excellent staffs!

This was our second time visit this hotel after Covid . First time was during Covid before sg close boarder . The first time impressions was super , they give us a big room with high floor , it was so beautiful , amazing , clean . So this round my 46th birthday we decide to choose 5days 4night stay . I had special requests on trips to hotel . I specifically say I do not want corner room as I am very sensitive to the last room of the hotels . On the arrival day , they supposed to pick me at the ferry but the rude service staff name of Nuryana , she ask me to take a taxi myself . That’s a red flag , u r treating a customer we visit second time for her birthday who stay not just one night but 4 nights to self taking a taxi myself . Ok it’s fine Check in they give me the last corner room n low floor ….. I have stated I wanted a high floor n I don’t want a corner room but they give me all the opposite request. Very disappointed this round visit . The house keeping is good 👍, they r doing a good job in cleaning up . The resturant is good . Both level 1,2,15th floor resturants all have better service than the front desk . Lastly I do hope that the hotel would improve on their front desk staff services . Do take note on customers little request . Don’t just give the opposite stuffs that we specifically stated we do not want .
