I had a wonderful stay at Park Royal Langkawi Resort with my family. The room was spotless, and the entire property was beautifully maintained. We had a stunning ocean view from our room, which made the stay even more special. The staff were exceptionally friendly, approachable, and always ready to help with a smile. My son especially loved the swimming pool and the activity room. All of us had an amazing time!
The resort’s amenities were excellent and really added to the overall experience.
Highly recommend for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway.

Booked Malibest Resort for my missus, sister-in-law, and our two little ones for a 3-night break. They paid RM100 deposit for two rooms. They asked for connecting rooms, but due to peak season, the hotel could only offer nearby rooms on the same floor with another guest in between. Staff said we could swap if the middle room became free, but the guest stayed longer, so no luck—but it was fine.
The hotel’s right in the heart of Cenang, and with peak season in full swing, it was packed. They hired a car to explore Langkawi, but parking was tricky—no private lot, so had to leave the car on the far side street or at the nearby mall (RM20 overnight). A few times they used Grab instead, which made the car rental feel a bit wasted.
Location-wise, it’s spot-on. Loads of duty-free shops, food places, and just steps from the beach. They walked to Underwater World too. The area’s buzzing with tourists, both local and international.
Rooms were clean and quiet. The pool was sandy at the bottom—likely from beachgoers jumping in without rinsing. Inside the room, all the basics were covered: towels, shampoo, body wash, a fridge for takeaway, water boiler for coffee, and a telly with YouTube (which the kids loved).
Also, it’s close to the airport—so no stress about getting there on time.
Overall, a solid stay with great location and helpful staff. A few hiccups, but the family had a lovely time.

Our stay was most enjoyable - a very pleasant hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Well designed hotel with few pretentions, offering comfort and good service. Hotel room - Simple, spacious with good modern facilities.
Good, well-designed Breakfast area - Breakfast facilities are very good, with good selection of well prepared food (including an egg station), with thoughtful variations from day to day. The manager in charge of breakfast is attentive, efficient and friendly.
Well-designed Bar and pool area, which provides live entertainment (including movie nights with free popcorn).
Although on a busy road, it was quiet. Hotel has an outlook (to the rear) from the swimming pool area across to the quiet fields and lush green hills (we enjoyed the sighting of cows and birds in the background).
Special mention of Mr Mokthar at Front Desk - he is personable, experienced, helpful and made us feel welcome the moment we stepped in. He is a valuable asset to Bayou hotel.
Thank you for a memorable stay.

How to start, during our stay at Holiday Villa Beach Resort Langkawi we had an amazing experience. The resort may be a little old, but to me, old is GOLD especially when everything is kept clean and spotless. Our towels and bed linens were changed daily, and every corner of the garden was beautifully maintained.
Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide spread every morning. The private beach was a highlight with soft sand, peaceful, and my kid practically had the whole beach to themselves! The swimming pool is impressively large and always clean, perfect for a refreshing dip.
Every staff member we met served us with a warm smile. Their hospitality truly stole our heart.
We had such a great time that we didn’t want to leave. Without a doubt, we’ll be coming back again. Full 5 stars from us!
For you who are looking for a calm place with lower budget please dont think twice this is perfect for you. But if u are lookinh for new shining every little spot please choose new hotel nearby, they are a lot of choice in langkawi. In my opinion this hotel dont deserved bad rating.. we will definitely come back soon.

This was hands down the most satisfying hotel of our trip to Malaysia, and my friends were equally impressed. The service was impeccable, and the amenities were top-notch.
Our rooms were individual wooden chalets, which made them incredibly quiet, and the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Our sea-view room opened directly onto the ocean; it was bright, spacious, and had a generously sized bathroom.
Each independent chalet comprised multiple rooms. They provided four complimentary bottles of water, with more available upon request. The hotel also offered free yoga classes. Unfortunately, we only stayed for two nights and didn't get to experience many of the facilities.
Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, with two restaurants offering different cuisines. The Asian restaurant had tastier food, but the American restaurant boasted unparalleled views, being right by the sea and allowing you to enjoy breakfast facing the ocean. I couldn't resist the shrimp noodles at the Asian restaurant, so I ended up eating there for both days.
The hotel features two very clean swimming pools, a beautiful artificial lake, and various other recreational facilities. Water sports bookings were available right next to the hotel, including banana boat rides and jet skiing. Next time, I'll definitely come just to relax and fully enjoy the hotel's offerings.
This resort is big and beautiful, immersed in nature and their service is excellent.
( please forgive me if I have butchered the names or spelled them wrong)
Faraaz was welcoming and informative upon check in, I came in early to check in and he made sure to find me so that I can check in my room a little before 3 pm.
The surroundings are lovely, the resort hugs the mountains and is surrounded by lush green. There’s many activities that you can do within the resort, as well as the skybridge and oriental village a stone throw away ( you can get a one way shuttle courtesy of resort.
The room itself was old but the housekeeping staff does an excellent job because it was clean, there’s no sewer smells and the bed is cosy.
The only issue I have is that of the gaps which lets geckos in, a huge one made it’s home in the bathroom, thumbs up to front desk service which is open and the security came late at night to help find it but it had hidden. The next day I saw one come through the gap in the door, ( there is a brush at the bottom but doesn’t fit until the end) I clapped my hands wildly to chase it back out. Perhaps provide a door draft stopper, I just used the towels to fill in gaps as a makeshift one. However I know it is a resort surrounded by nature and these creatures will find a way.
Breakfast was excellent, I have to says the breakfast staff is the hardest working team I have ever seen in all my travels. Not only do they have to greet and seat, but they also accommodate late breakfast comers who come after the allotted breakfast time and wait until they finish a lazy breakfast.
The food here is delicious. It was a lovely stay.
Ps. Don’t forget to make a reservation in advance for Phan Thai, I recommend at 6:30, it’s not busy yet and you can take pics and enjoy the beautiful sky dimming into glorious colors. It starts to get really busy at around 7:40 ( it’s still bright out) .

1. Slow check in process by the staff who had assisted me as compared to my friend’s. Though I have 3 rooms to check in but was asked with lots of questions and the whole process took me at least 30mins? - not sure if this is normal.
2. Cleanliness of the room was horrific for a Google 5-star hotel. Mentioning the worst - Insect carcasses was noted at a corner of the living room on the check in day as shown in the picture. It was still there even after room service.
3. Cash left on the dining table when missing after returning to room at night. Believe it was assumed as ‘tips’ after room service? Tips for not cleaning insect carcasses?
4. The kitchen sink was clogged again despite the first repair.
5. 2 out of 4 toothbrush kits were opened with missing toothpaste on the check in day.
Out of so many bads, at least I’m glad that the guards over there were friendly.
Excellent room spacious and in-room amenities. We love the bathroom (wudhu’ pipe), the spacious bathtub, the kitchen sink (clean up baby’s bottle etc.) without going to the toilet, the room layout, the view. Very nice 👍🏼🫰🏼

Facilities: They're just okay, typical of a basic business hotel. Nothing to write home about.
Cleanliness: Extremely poor, especially the bedding. It felt old and clearly hasn't been updated or thoroughly cleaned often.
Location: The only good thing is its convenience. It's right across from the beach, less than 100 meters away.
Service: Pretty average. Don't set your expectations too high.

Goldsands Hotel Langkawi offers spacious, clean rooms with modern bathrooms and large bathtubs, complemented by a stunning rooftop infinity pool and restaurant with panoramic views. Conveniently located near markets, Eagle Jetty, and shops, it provides a quieter stay away from busy beach areas. Guests praise the friendly staff and good value, though some have experienced slower service and occasional maintenance issues. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, good amenities, and a strategic location in Langkawi.

GGuest UserAfter such a hectic schedule of wedding, me and my husband thought of having WE time before returning to work, I must say we made the best decision.
Rebark island is a private island with beautiful resort and best rooms having sea pool or forest silent view. Beach, swimming pool, spa, gym access. Room amenities and housekeeping top notch. Breakfast buffet and food was very tasty I must
Staff here is so friendly.. if you want some time out from the daily chaos and this place is the best. Highly recommended

MMuraleedharan RI had an amazing experience staying at this beachside resort during my vacation — definitely one of the best I’ve ever been to! The location is stunning, right by the beach and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The accommodation was super comfortable and all the facilities were top-notch.
The staff were really friendly and always ready to help with a smile. What I loved the most was how kid-friendly the place was. The hotel organized several fun activities just for children and my kids had a blast participating in them — they were entertained and happy throughout the stay!
The buffet breakfast was another highlight — so many tasty options and everything was fresh and delicious. It was a great way to start each day.
A special mention to Mrs. Mary, the tour manager who was incredibly supportive. She helped coordinate all our activities in Langkawi smoothly and made our trip even more enjoyable.
Overall, I would highly recommend this resort to anyone planning a trip to Langkawi — it’s perfect for families, couples or even solo travelers looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!
DDora DoraWe travelled with children and 4 adults. The rooms are very convenient with microwave and fridges.
Though the hotel is not new , it has sea view , and quite near to MAHA tower and Kuah town. Not luxurious type, but definitely is family friendly, opposite the resort there are 24Hr convenient stores and duty free chocolate shops. I like the setting of the rooms actually, 2 bedrooms are not interconnected but share the same gate, but with individual balcony attached.
AAlexis LumTook me a while to decide on Four Seasons due to slight put off by the location as it was rather secluded on the other side of the island. (which also meant privacy and peace) But was pleasantly and amazingly surprised by them.
Booking via Trip, I didn’t expect that the hotel will reach out to me directly to check about my trip and how they can facilitate my plans better. Having booked over Trip numerous times, this was a first. This is also not my rodeo with 5stars on Trip. I felt valued and felt the sincerity the hotel expressed on how much they welcomed my stay and looking forward to my arrival.
I arrived early for check-in and the whole process was swift, personal and made me feel extremely welcomed. Before I even asked, the team checked on my flight details out of Langkawi, and arranged for my late check-out to match my flight out so that I can stay rested and enjoy the resort till my very last moments in Langkawi. It surprised me as it was extremely personal and showed how well the hotel treated each guest and placed their needs at their utmost priority. I honestly didn’t expect their thoughtfulness.
A resort tour was then arranged on a buggy to show me around the area and to introduced to me the different restaurants and facilities. And then we were showed to our room.
Room was dated and had visible signs of wear and tear but all in all was within expectations. Clean and spacious and had a giant tub which filled up rather quickly despite the sizes. Room was well lighted with generous amount of day light.
Having shared with the team that I was celebrating my birthday, they arranged for cake and champagne in my room to welcome me. Their service was consistent and I also received great attitudes at their restaurant, Kelapa Grill which served great seafood.
Thank you Four Seasons Langkawi for such a memorable stay. Your service have been impeccable. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and warm hospitality. I will most definitely be back.

AAnonymous UserIt’s okay. Lack of food choices due to low occupancy and food that are available are not as good as priced even for basic local food.
Some staff members don’t really look like they want to be there but others do make up for it.
Service is slow even though occupancy is low too.
