The place is nice and clean… although foods are expensive and other activities that you need to pay for is also pricey. I also booked for 1 king size bed + 1 single bed.. but they gave us 1 king size bed room only and added an extra bed instead. My 7yo only ate 3 pcs of bread and asking me to pay half of the buffet rate. This is our first time to stay here at Pico Sands Hotel, I did not the enjoy the experience tbh
Location is superb and customer service was excellent. Food selection at breakfast buffet is acceptable for its price. Hot choco is our fave! You just have to ask for it from the staff.
We will definitely come back here.
Here's an elaborate review based on your stay at Taal Vista Hotel:
**Hotel Review: Taal Vista Hotel (Stay Date: January 4-5)**
My recent stay at Taal Vista Hotel was a blend of elegance and family-friendly amenities, though not without a few quirks.
Pros:
1. **Elegant Ambiance:** Taal Vista Hotel exudes elegance, especially with its grand architecture and beautifully maintained grounds. The back of the hotel features a spacious area perfect for strolling and playing, with breathtaking views of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano.
2. **Family-Oriented:** This hotel is a haven for families. The expansive lawn provides ample space for children to run and play.
3. **Wide Parking Space:** Ample parking space makes it convenient for guests arriving with their vehicles.
4. **Breakfast Buffet:** Though the breakfast buffet had limited choices, every dish served was delicious and satisfying.
**Cons:**
1. **Unheated Pool:** Unfortunately, the pool is unheated, which might be a downside for those looking to take a dip in colder weather.
2. **Outdated Room:** The room we stayed in felt quite old and outdated. The chair and sofa had tacky covers, likely because they were really old.
3. **Towel Availability:** Surprisingly, there were no towels in our room upon arrival. We had to request them, which was quite disappointing considering this is a 5-star hotel.
In conclusion, Taal Vista Hotel offers a beautiful and serene environment, ideal for families, but could use some updates in the rooms and better attention to detail in terms of amenities like towels.
The room was clean and smells good. Bath towels prepared and bedsheets were freshly changed. We had a beautiful view of fog in the morning too. The unit owner was responsive and Ms. Mylene (caretaker) assisted us to check in and made sure everything was working well. We had some issues with the slow internet but we were able to fix it. We recommend this unit for your staycation. My sister and I enjoyed our stay. Will rebook again.
With previous stays at Anya exceeding expectations for relaxation and rejuvenation, it's regrettable to highlight shortcomings in our recent visit. Housekeeping fell short: patio uncleaned, bath towels not replenished, essential toiletries missing unless requested. This contrasts with Anya's usual high standards. #AnyaExperience #ServiceReview 😞
Went to Cocoons with my friends and the long travel is worth it. Booking from Trip.com and checking in the hotel are very easy. Hoping to let my family visit and experience Cocoons Casobe.
I recently embarked on a series of staycations, and my experience at Hotel Monticello stood out as the absolute best. The spacious room I was allocated was nothing short of a sanctuary, offering ample space to unwind and relax. The thoughtful arrangements and attention to detail were evident in every corner of the room, creating an atmosphere of both luxury and comfort.
What truly elevated my stay was the impeccable service provided by the hotel's staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff's friendliness and willingness to accommodate my needs made me feel truly valued as a guest.
The combination of the room's spaciousness, meticulous arrangements, and the exceptional friendliness of the staff made my stay at Hotel Monticello an unforgettable experience. It's safe to say that I've found my go-to staycation spot for the future.
When we checked out , the front desk asked us about the hand tower , and emphasized twice to my wife which was kind of offensive. I mean we can afford for almost 8k for two nights , who will take the so call hand tower which is useless to us. What is most important thing is that the house keeping did not leave any hand towers in the room when we arrived in the unit. This is their job instead! Bad attitude , lack of respect to the guests . Will never ever back to that place. Lmao
I was in CaSoBe with my family in February 2024. It has been a great holiday! The sea view from our cabin, the beach sunsets and the big swimming pools were a hit.
The personnel of the resort were really friendly and always ready to answer our needs and questions.
In particular, I would like to mention Mr. Alexis, who accompanied us in some trips around the area. He has been so kind and friendly with us and our kids and showed us all the best spots to visit, allowing us to experience the real Filipino life and tastes. A special thanks also to Marcus, from the resort management, who contributed to make our holiday memorable.
We highly recommend Calatagan South Beach resort for any visitor who likes to find a clean, friendly and relaxing environment for his holiday. We hope to be able to go back sometime!

GGuest UserThe room is very clean and it's really like a hotel it has a comforter like the ones you see at hotels we availed the deluxe room so its not that spacious specially the comfort room only one person can fit in. You can bring your own drinks or foods too inside the resort you don't need to pay a corkage fee. They have court for basketball and volleyball the price is cheaper when you rent it in daytime. We also tried their full body massage for 1 hr that cost us 750 pesos each. You will need to go to their resto to claim your free breakfast if you avail the room that comes with a breakfast, it will not be delivered to your room but you can choose whichever breakfast meal they have in their menu plus it comes with a soup which is great and their foods taste delicious also the price of their food is reasonable but they have a 10% service charge for dine in and 15% for room service. The resto's cutoff for room service is 5pm, 7pm for dine in. The resort's downside is their operations time the front desk and restaurant is only open from 7am-8pm so if you're going to need something from the front desk after that time no one can assist you because they'll be gone by then only the guard will be left in the front door and also if you got hungry at night you might need to buy food from their resto before they closes or buy from a nearby convenient store because there's also no foodpanda or grabfood nearby stores also closes early so you have to plan your dinner ahead of time. We went to SM (closes at 9pm) the fare going there using tricycle is 120pesos.Their pool is only open till 9pm only if you want to eat or drink near the pool you can use their cabanas. Another downside is the beach, the beach area closes at 8pm. Their sand is gray (but a fine sand) you can't really swim in it because the waves are strong and the water is not clear and it's kinda dirty there's a lot of trash beside the beach it's not well maintained. You will really need to go island hopping which is already not part of the resort's activity so they'll let you sign a waiver. There's a lot of bangkero beside the beach it's best to ride by group there's only 2 of us when we rode the boat so it's a bit expensive, island hopping will cost you around 2000 (1 island) to 3.5k (2 islands) we availed the 3.5k. We went coral diving (they lent us their goggles for free or bring your own goggles) and also went at the white sand beach which is in Bauan, Batangas which also has clear water and you can also spot some fish and corals, travel time going to those 2 places is 35-45mins you can also bring your food but keep in mind to really cover it in plastic so it won't get wet because the trip going there is really rocky you will really get wet because you will pass by a strong waves so cover all your belongings. It was raining when we went there so maybe that's why the waves are strong. Overall we had a blast! We indeed had a memorable stay. They even gave us a gift when we checked out they're so thoughtful. Thank you for the wonderful experience we will surely recommend you to our friends.
HHzllnmrlsWhen we arrive, they have ample parking considering it's a weekend and a holiday. Check-in time is also tolerable. Yes, there was a long line, but they have like 4 counters accommodating check-ins, and they have a separate checkout counter. Just be ready with 2 adult IDs that are checking in and the 2k deposit. The room is so spacious; we got the 1BR family suite, and it has 2 queen daybeds with no pillows and blankets, 2 double beds, 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen with a sink and non-functional stovetop, and a medium-sized refrigerator. It also has a sala and a dining area as well. They initially provided 2 free water bottles, but I requested an additional 2 since the room was booked for 4 people, and they complied. I do have an issue with one of the toilets since it was clogged on the first day, and we're staying for 3 days, so it's very inconvenient, if you can imagine. I did report it, but no one came to address this matter. The free breakfast is so-so. It gets you full, and the selections are not that bad but not great. I don't know if they offer meals during lunchtime since we ate outside (L’bulalo—definitely a must-try!), but for dinner they only offer the grill station and the buffet. It was quite sad since on our last night it rained so hard, and all the people were stuck in the outdoor dining area of the grill station, and they had to halt everything since it got wet, even the food that was grilling. The pool was huge! So even though there were other people swimming, it didn't feel crowded. The beach is clean and clear, but the shore has a lot of rocks or shells, so it hurts when you walk over it. Overall, it's good for a quick getaway.
JJill M.It's always fun and memorable staycation here. We love their swimming pools, very relaxing. Lobby and room smell so nice. Perfect location also. Restaurants, malls, groceries and coffee shops are just walking distance.
LLorna CawiThe staff are so accommodating ❤️ Perfect place to relax , best for swimming, snorkelling , diving and kayaking 💚🛶⛱️🌊🏊♂️

GGuest UserI rarely leave voluntary feedback for hotels we stay at,
but this one definitely deserves it.
Brittany Hotel is fairly new. We have been meaning to try it for a while since we always pass by it along Daang Hari. We initially booked just an overnight stay to relax a bit. Unexpectedly, we ended up coming back the very next day when we needed a place to stay for another three days and two nights. I asked the same receptionist, Ken, who assisted us during our first check-in if the deluxe room we previously stayed in was available, as we preferred it. They didn’t say whether it was, but instead informed us that they had upgraded our room to a premier one at no extra cost! It was such a pleasant surprise, especially since it was only our second visit. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A big thank you to Ken for being so helpful and kind. The level of service really stood out.
The overall vibe of the hotel is really nice. It's quiet, very clean, and has a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Although we weren’t able to try most of the restaurant’s menu since we always came back late at night, the food we did try was enjoyable, and the coffee was surprisingly good. While the hotel might feel a bit limited for some, as it's still new, we had a great stay overall. It has quickly become our favorite among all the hotels we’ve stayed at. 😁 We hope they continue to provide great service and even improve it further, especially the facilities and amenities. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to our friends and family.

MMark Laurence OadanI booked a stay at Villa Ibarra to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the Taal Volcano from our room. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was truly magical and added a special touch to our celebration.
We were also delighted to encounter a lot of wild monkeys around the property. It was such a unique and exciting experience that made our stay even more memorable.
The breakfast at Villa Ibarra was fantastic. There was a wide variety of delicious options, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our day, and we looked forward to it each morning.
One of our favorite features was the cozy jacuzzi. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The warm water and serene atmosphere made it a perfect spot for some quality time together.
Overall, our stay at Villa Ibarra was exceptional. The combination of the stunning Taal Volcano view, the exciting wildlife encounters, the delicious breakfast, and the relaxing jacuzzi made for a perfect birthday celebration for my wife. We are grateful to the staff for their warm hospitality and for making our stay so memorable.
Highly recommend Villa Ibarra for anyone looking for a special and unforgettable getaway!
Thank you, Villa Ibarra, for an amazing experience!
EEnrico CafrancaOur kids enjoyed the stay at Hotel Kimberly. I believe the hotel was specially made for kids since there are a lot of activities that your children will definitely enjoy.
