"Checked in for a one-night stay on October 9th. The starry sky that night was absolutely breathtaking and totally worth the room rate! The butler reached out a day in advance and sent over the schedule of activities. Compared to the No. 7 Starry Sky and S Tent where we stayed the previous two days, Tengol is a huge step up—it has a real resort vibe, and the professional photography here yields incredible, highly photogenic shots. The room is very spacious with a huge bed, and the first round of drinks in the minibar is complimentary. The complimentary off-road vehicle ride offers scenery just as stunning as the one inside Shapotou, saving us from the crowded tourist zones over there. The evening show was heartfelt and well worth watching; the camel ride, horses, molten iron fireworks (da tie hua), and folk songs were all fantastic. Getting to watch them up close felt like having VIP seats. The stargazing session took place right outdoors under the night sky, which was an amazing experience. The instructor was great, and we even got to see Saturn's rings through the telescope! Plus, some generous guests set off fireworks for us to enjoy every now and then, haha. There are also optional professional photoshoot packages available, which are an absolute must for souvenirs! Breakfast was also miles ahead of the previous two places—both exquisite and delicious. Finally, our butler arranged a car to take us to the airport. A perfect single-night stay—I will definitely come back for a second visit!"

"We chose the Kempinski in Yinchuan, and the location is excellent. Across the road are the Ningxia Museum, the Municipal People's Government, the Science and Technology Museum, and the International Convention and Exhibition Center. Daisy checked us in, upgraded our room type, and gave us access to the executive lounge, making the experience truly fantastic. We encountered a small issue with the room, and Daisy resolved it very quickly. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. The executive lounge was excellent; the afternoon tea biscuits were delicious, and the dinner featured a carefully curated menu with comprehensive nutritional elements, both visually appealing and tasty. Staff in all departments were very responsible, and housekeeping service was also great. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends."

"The biggest surprise of my trip to Zhongwei was staying at the Xiang Tengger Desert Hotel. Deep in the Tengger Desert, far from the hustle and bustle, the dedicated shuttle service made check-in hassle-free, saving us the trouble of driving into the sand ourselves. The rooms were clean and dry, which is quite rare for a desert environment, and the facilities exceeded our expectations. During the day, we enjoyed playing on the sand dunes, with plenty of activities like sandboarding and other desert adventures that kept the kids entertained. In the evening, we waited for the stunning desert sunset, and after dark, there was a bonfire party and fireworks. Looking up, we could see the brilliant Milky Way – the atmosphere was absolutely incredible. The staff were warm and attentive, quickly resolving any issues we had. Overall, it perfectly blended wilderness adventure with comfort, making it ideal for a family trip. If I ever return to the Zhongwei desert, I'll definitely stay here again."

"I wholeheartedly recommend this desert hotel, it's perfect for family trips! The experience was truly outstanding. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location is superb, right on the edge of the vast desert. In the afternoons, we could easily climb sand dunes and watch the sunset. My kids spent every day playing happily in the sand, they didn't want to leave. After checking in, the hotel added us to an exclusive WeChat group, which made it super convenient for daily inquiries and requests. I have to specifically praise their heartwarming service: I accidentally lost my DJI Pocket 3 while out and about. I was already disheartened and about to give up, but I decided to ask in the group. To my surprise, someone had found it quickly! The staff immediately secured it and personally delivered it to me. The joy of getting it back was indescribable. Their honesty and efficiency were truly commendable, giving us a complete sense of security. The restaurant's food exceeded our expectations; the home-style dishes were perfectly to our taste. My child specifically asked for stir-fried tomato and eggs for two consecutive days, and finished every single bite, leaving no leftovers. The hotel offers a wide range of desert activities. We tried the Bombardier ATV, and the slight sensation of weightlessness was just right – thrilling yet fun. The various desert recreational activities kept us busy and content throughout our stay. Everything, from the environment, dining, and activities to the attentive service, was impeccable."

"The hotel offers a shuttle service from the Time and Space Gate, which was excellent. Three days before arrival, staff proactively called and added me on WeChat to check for any needs. The hotel itself is incredibly fun, mostly catering to families with children. There are various activities from morning to night, perfect for kids. The room was a bit old and small, but the outstanding service more than made up for it. Stepping outside, you're right in the desert. You can enjoy a sunrise or sunset over the desert from your balcony with a cup of tea. Each room comes with sand-digging toys and unlimited sandboards for sand-sliding. Inside the room, there's a generous supply of fruit, various drinks, yogurt, biscuits, and nuts. The food is also great, with breakfast, dinner, and even a late-night snack provided – so much so that I couldn't finish it all. I'd recommend skipping lunch, otherwise, you'll be eating too much in one day! The pool is unheated; I was the only one brave enough to swim in it (it's a semi-standard size). Make sure to visit the Stargazing Valley at night; I saw a sky full of stars like I've never seen before."

"When checking in, the staff member Monica was incredibly efficient and friendly. She even went out of her way to recommend some fun places to visit nearby. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, it felt like being wrapped in a cloud. The bathroom facilities were also new, and the toiletries were of good quality. I really enjoyed the tea bags in the room; they had a lovely sweet flavor, and having a huge bathtub was a definite plus!"

"The hotel design is unique and the views are good. However, dining options are limited. The Chinese restaurant's prices are comparable to mid-to-high-end restaurants in Shanghai, so we opted to drive 20 minutes to Zhenbeibao for dinner. The breakfast restaurant was the most disappointing. First, there weren't many options. During the National Day holiday, with a large number of guests, the service couldn't keep up at all. When we asked a waiter to clear a table left by previous guests, the waiter started clearing and then just walked away halfway through. After waiting for a long time, we called another one over. The first one claimed they thought we were still eating, so they just did a quick tidy-up and left. The most frustrating part was the staff at the noodle station, especially a female manager. Her attitude towards guests was very poor; she was extremely impatient with their questions, and several guests, including myself, were spoken to rudely. I understand that during National Day, there are a lot of people and the staff work hard, but basic politeness and a good attitude should always be maintained. In conclusion, as the most luxurious hotel in the area, even during off-peak seasons, the prices are similar to high-end hotels in big cities. Such service truly doesn't match the hotel's caliber."

"This desert hotel completely exceeded expectations! Staying at the staggered peak to enjoy the whole desert secret, waiting for the sunset to shine soft light on the sky in the evening, the sand dunes were dyed orange by the sunset. At night, the bonfire was burning, the fireworks were blooming, and the vast galaxy was looking up. It was really shocking to see the stars with the naked eye! The room is clean and comfortable. It is rare to have such perfect facilities in the desert. The children directly let go of themselves to play in the sand and don't want to leave. The staff is intimate and thoughtful, and the whole experience is full! Come to Zhongwei Tengri's first choice, will come again next time!"

"This stay truly exceeded my expectations! It's a beautiful vineyard estate with lush greenery, offering a tranquil and cozy environment. You can cycle and stroll around the grounds, visit the winery, and the atmosphere is simply wonderful. What I'm most incredibly grateful for is that around 10 PM on the night of our check-in, I suddenly felt unwell. However, my partner couldn't leave our young, sleeping child. In a moment of panic, one of the team members in the housekeeper chat proactively offered help. Even more remarkably, the manager immediately drove me to the hospital for treatment, accompanied me through all the examinations, and stayed with me until past midnight. I'm truly, incredibly grateful. The room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities. But most importantly, the staff here are genuinely warm and helpful. The manager extended a helping hand when a guest needed it most, acting like family even though we're not. It's truly difficult to encounter such an unexpected situation when traveling, but thankfully, the manager and housekeepers were so warm and helped me through it smoothly. As a guest, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Helan Mountain. It was a truly warm and special accommodation experience. My sincere thanks again to everyone at Dayuezhiye, Helan Mountain. Thank you all, and I wish you all a smooth and increasingly better life!!"

Good value for money, friendly, helpful night staff, no language problem, easy and trouble free foreign friendly. The feedback is based on my room and my overall experience. The room was very clean, newish super clear, bright lights bathroom, with very nice shower. The beds are a bit hard but nothing major, very quite, small but manageable parking space, despite my car being a big. It was one night experience, short but pleasant with lots of food option but the front doors of the hotel. Which very convenient. Definitely recommend unfortunately, I forgot to take some pictures. ThumbsUp 👍

Although the hotel is not particularly new, it has complete facilities and the surrounding environment is relatively good and quiet. The heating and air conditioning are sufficient, giving southerners a full sense of security. There are also many types of breakfast, and in order to avoid waste, they are very considerate and cut into small pieces. When breakfast is about to end, they will knock on the door of each room to ask if you have eaten breakfast. The service was very good and enthusiastic. The air conditioner was already on when I checked in. The lady at the front desk also helped to deliver the luggage to the room and explained the precautions very considerately.

We wish to give our deepest gratitude to all the staff especially the front desk ladies in this lovely hotel. The moment we entered the hotel we were greeted with warm hospitality and welcoming smiles. The lady assisted us with our travels by giving us tips on getting around using the public transport. Upon checking into the clean, spacious and comfortable room, we requested for two pairs of bathroom slippers. We are deeply moved when the aunty cleaner lady came back with two pairs of new rubber slippers. She was assigned to go to the nearest store to buy the two pairs of slippers. Thank you again. We slept very well for three nights here. The laundry room has two washing machines and two dryers, perfect for hotel guests. The breakfast was superb. For three days continuously, they served a variety of food. Another perfect💯 score for the kitchen staff as well as the hardworking staff in the dining room who ensured that the food served is always sufficient for hotel guests. The location of the hotel is also great as it is easy to move around using public bus as well as taxis. The surrounding areas also have lots of eating shops and restaurants. Thank you to all of you in this lovely hotel for making our stay in Zhongwei so memorable.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. The room was wonderfully spacious and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of room to relax, and the housekeeping team clearly does an immaculate job. The service was truly outstanding. Every member of the staff provided wonderful, friendly, and excellent service from the moment I checked in until the moment I left. They genuinely cared about making my stay comfortable. If you are looking for a comfortable, pristine room and top-tier hospitality, look no further!

Lovely hotel near Wanda Jinfeng mall, surrounded by many pharmacies. The fruit shop downstairs called 小任果 is one of the best fruit chains in Yinchuan with a huge offering of fruits and yoghurt and nuts. We bought these to bring along for our day trips out of Yinchuan. Its nice to stay at Jingfeng district as its quieter than drum tower area. The lobby has snacks, fruit and drinks all day for guests. Coffee was super ! We used the complimentary washer dryer which is a fabulous amenity. We appreciated the free pickup at the airport which we arranged 1 day prior by telephone booking from Shanghai. The reception and the breakfast counter staff were all very friendly and helpful. The toiletries were all upmarket If there is any con - its the plump cleaning lady at the 3rd floor. She appeared unhappy when we asked her to top up the bath wash when it was low and she forgot to top up. She just handed us a bottle to install ourselves. She also didnt wipe the control panel for the room unlike her colleague who does it when she is on duty so we can see our finger prints still on the glass after housekeeping. Small issue though. Cos everything else about the hotel was great

I chose this hotel because of the free airport pickup and drop-off service, which was a decisive factor for me. The butler contacted us in advance and arranged the pickup, even sending us a small guide and restaurant recommendations, which were all very clear. The hotel environment is also excellent, the driver was very friendly, and the room was super comfortable. I do have a small suggestion though: there seemed to be too few trash cans. It would be much more convenient if the small tabletop bins were replaced with larger ones. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and there was also complimentary late-night congee available, so if you don't feel like going out in the evening, you can easily have a satisfying meal here. The surroundings of the hotel are also lovely; on a clear night, you can even enjoy moon gazing. Overall, I give my stay a full 5 stars.

With the high temperatures in Suzhou and Hangzhou, this is a great escape to the heat in the northwest, featuring a lovely guesthouse village. Nan'an is the largest guesthouse complex in the area, with 40 rooms out of a total of 100. This time, we stayed at Taojiaying West House, with a swimming pool in front and a farm/ranch/ranch in the back – very pleasant. The room details were also very well done, suitable for large families or groups of friends. Both restaurants in the village are good for breakfast: 🌻Xiangke (more variety), 🍜Lao Wang Ji Breakfast & Midnight Canteen. Special praise to Nan'an's management team, including Da Yuan and her group; they communicated with us before our arrival and were very attentive. During our stay, our drone got stuck in a tree in the yard, and the management team helped us find a solution from evening until morning, finally fixing it with a tree trunk over ten meters long. - Climb the Great Wall (five-minute climb to the top) for panoramic views of the Yellow River and the village. - Feeding lambs, riding camels, milking goats. I call it the Yellow River version of ”Wuzhen Village”; the entire village has an integrated design with a Mediterranean feel, perfect for photos.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located near Yinchuan Municipal Government and Ningxia Museum, making it easy to access attractions and the train station. Its prime location is a definite plus. However, the hotel entrance is situated between two buildings, and many ride-sharing drivers get misdirected to the parking lot by their navigation, making it difficult for them to pick up guests. It's advisable to factor in extra time when booking a ride. Room: This time, I used my points to upgrade to a Mountains and Rivers View room. The facilities are pretty similar to the standard rooms, but being on a higher floor offered a nice view of the Helan Mountains. Unfortunately, the window glass was very dirty, making it impossible to take good photos. I suggest cleaning them. Also, the air inlet cover on the handle of the hairdryer in the bathroom was missing, indicating that some facilities need prompt maintenance. The TV was quite old; it couldn't cast, and both the picture and sound quality were poor. Food: The breakfast selection was rich and varied. However, some of the English translations for certain dishes were significantly flawed and need immediate correction. For dining out, Jin Feng Wanda Plaza is nearby. Alternatively, if you turn left twice after exiting the hotel, within 50 meters, there's a restaurant called 'Bai Xing Han Can' which offers a wide variety of dishes that cater well to Southern palates.

Staying in a tipsy dreamland at the foot of Helan Mountain – this guesthouse was the most pleasant surprise of my Yinchuan trip! It's located right in the Helan Mountain Eastern Foothill Wine Region of Ningxia, and you can feel the rich wine country atmosphere just by looking out the window. I booked the 'Cloud Dye' King Room, and the decor was incredibly stylish, especially the tea room setup. With the afternoon sun streaming in, sipping tea here and gazing at the scenery outside made time feel like it slowed down. The smart room control and Serta mattress made for an exceptionally sweet night's sleep. The most noteworthy highlight has to be the complimentary wine tasting and winery tour! As a complete beginner to wine, this was a real eye-opener. Not only did I get to taste delicious wines, but I also took many beautiful photos. Plus, there's a pick-up and drop-off service, which is incredibly thoughtful for travelers with luggage – no need to worry about transportation at all. The butler service also gets full marks; their response speed was super fast, and any request was resolved immediately. Coupled with a hearty and abundant breakfast, it was a truly complete accommodation experience.
