The only true god around the island, the first choice for self-driving tour, to Akreli that night was very late and raining, self-check-in silky, townhouse style, the car parked directly outside the landing door, the room is as big as the domestic friends, you can't find such a big on the island, Sofa TV dining table has everything, the key is too cheap, the cheapest one around the island these days is the best

Wonderful stay, with great amenities and view from the room where we could see the northern lights. The hotel reception also gave us a wake up call at 2am when the northern lights were visible from the hotel

The cabin is an impressive stop during this trip around the island. I went to the Mihu Hot Spring first. It was absolutely niche and the facilities were very good. Because there were few people, it was very good. The cabin was very close. The front desk and the room were separated from the main road. It was very convenient to drive. Although the room is not big, it has floor heating. It is ice and snow outside, but the room is warm. Next to the front desk is the restaurant and cattle farm. Diners can watch the cows while eating, and the door of the cow shed also says welcome to visit. If you don’t dislike the taste, you can enter and get in touch with the cows. Dinner at the hotel, the taste is quite good, the ”Iceland borscht soup was rated as the best soup around the island. After dinner, we also drove to the nearby highlands to shoot the only aurora on this trip. The disadvantage of this hotel is that the room is not soundproof. But it is also a welcome and welcome flaw in the structure of the cabin that is returning to the real world.

Our lake-view ensuite mini-cabin was great for our 1 night stay at Myvatn, with sufficient parking space, clean geothermal shower and use of shared kitchen and lounge (even common BBQ grill) attached to our 4 mini-cabin cluster. We only wished there is a dustbin in our room (not just the toilet bin). Loved its quiet lakefront location with the Dimmuborgir lava fields and Hverfell crater just behind it. Continental breakfast spread was great with local specialities and waffles. Tip: Walk along the lake path outside the guesthouse at sunset. Myvatn nature baths are also less than 5-min drive away. There are plenty of midges in summer and while they were a minor bother and do not bite, just remember not to open the windows without the blinds in the warmer afternoons or evenings.

The hotel is halfway up the mountain, and you can see the whole mountain through the window. It's not far from Akureyri's pedestrian street, and it takes 10 minutes to walk there. There seems to be a citizen hot spring bath next to the hotel, and there is a parking lot downstairs, which is quite convenient.

My wife and I booked a double room in this hotel, full of rooms, and the door of the room is already using electronic locks! The first floor is the restaurant, check in is also at the restaurant counter, check in with a free drink from the restaurant. The kitchen has a simple microwave and a kettle to use. The bathroom is in the basement, and it will definitely pass the restaurant on the first floor. It feels a bit strange, and men may still go wrong into the women's bathroom. This part is a bit strange in the design of the compartment. There is a bar behind the hotel, which will be very noisy before snoring at night. Even if the soundproof airtight window is closed, it is quite loud; and the door bow buffer of the restaurant door on the first floor of the hotel is not enough, and the closing will affect the upstairs!

AAnonymous UserTHIS IS OUR MOST AFFORDABLE LUXURY STAY IN ICELAND 😭💯😭💯😭💯 IT FELT SO LUXURY AND FOR THE PRICE I PAID I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT EVEN MORE ONCE I GOT THERE. THE PRIVATE HOT TUB WAS A BLISS 😭 me and my friend had to skip common hot tub facilities that other accoms offered as it is either far from our room or it is open late in the evening meanwhile this one is private and u can use whenever except the jet has to be off after xx hour to not disturb the other rooms. I just love how private your room can be and just the view of akureyri while it was still bright outside to how the lights from Akureyri just blast your view and overlooking the mountain. Loved the dark rich interior vibe North Mountain View Suites is giving. Everything is nice. The design is just chefs kiss—i felt so rich and expensive lol. There’s even netflix and youtube and big modern tv in the room, private tub which you must dip yourself!!!, bath robes, hanger, literally not just big fridge but also freezer?!?! and yes, the suites leave a mint chocolate, coke, sprite and spring water in the fridge pls have it!!! There’s even oven 😭😭 Yes, the room is complete and have everything. IT IS JUST SO PERFECT!! If you love the mint choc (sirius brand), please drop by Bonus supermarket and you can get it for cheapest price (cheaper than Netto too!!!) oof yes we went to Netto and Bonus in Borgarnes all to hunt the exact mint choc bar 🤭 If you’re in Akureyri, please book this suites!!!! Luxury suites but the price that I got just made it unbelievable 😭💯😭💯😭💯

TthewandercuratorLovely stay in a charming, 3-storey historic guesthouse that reflects the spirit of Husavik. Comfortable private rooms with in-room amenities like ear plugs, pitcher, hot water kettle+mugs, salt+pepper and little treats, sufficient renovated shared shower WCs, plus homely touches like a fridge for guest use, hot beverage counter and free hot coffee, fruits and biscuits in the morning. Friendly and meticulous host who strives to give a peaceful and memorable stay for all guests: we take off shoes at the main entrance to minimise noise and keep the floor clean, and bathmats were supplied to keep showers dry for the next guest use. Yes, the hot geothermal shower water has a sulphuric smell but it adds character to the stay! Tip: have lunch or dinner at Naustid, the seafood restaurant opposite, and check out the bubbling stream beside the house!

GGIN77The room is very small and has nothing. The location is good, the service is OK, and next to it is Lake Mihai and a gas station. It is very convenient to take a break. I recommend it. There is no better choice.

YYIVery close to Lake Mi, the facilities are generally simple, the room size is small, the room has three single beds, three bedside tables, one table, two chairs, one pool, nothing more. The kitchen and bathroom are shared and slightly inconvenient. The kitchen has shared kitchen utensils and cutlery. The cooktop is small and can only be cooked for one time. The breakfast at the hotel is very good for several varieties. Compared to other parts of Iceland, the price of this hotel is high (scenic price), but the accommodation service provided is too general (farm level). In addition, there are many black flying insects in the area around Mihu in summer, and the face is rushing to the body. It feels very bad. Now I think of goose bumps. Summer travel is not recommended to live near Mihu, which is very expensive. Not comfortable.
