Bell boy and those staffs helping with luggage were amazing. Front desk staff doesn’t make you feel welcoming, pulling a long face throughout, didn’t explain in details during check in example like how much was the deposit, breakfast etc. Room is kinda old, toilet bowl doesn’t have warmer function which I get it in every other hotel as cheap as 80yuan a night. Huge Breakfast selection , that’s the most enjoyable part of this hotel. Location wise, just next to hotel got a 24 mini mart, nothing else, need to cab further down for more foods and malls. Near to jilin train station, a 8-10 yuan cab ride away. Take note the hotel pick up fee is 200 yuan. Lastly, shoutout to the room cleaner, they have the most tiring works but super helpful and always greet with you big smile.

It's very good and cost-effective. We stayed in a twin room with two single beds and a massage bed. The view was great and it's most suitable for two adults and one child. The hotel gives you a bathing ticket. For an additional 49 yuan, you can have a basic bathing service. We tried the bathing service and it was very comfortable. If you are interested, you can also buy a more expensive package for better results. There is also a hot spring on the sixth floor. This spring water seeps out from 300 meters underground and is a branch of Changbai Mountain. The water quality is indeed very silky. The buffet is very rich. We didn't have the dinner buffet, but the breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. This is the most unobtrusive buffet I have ever had. There are many choices, the portions are large, and the taste is good. You can try the freshly steamed ones. Sea urchin dumplings. Overall I feel good and will recommend it to my friends!

Wanda Plaza is just around the corner. It's a 10-minute taxi ride to the high-speed rail station, and even after an evening of shopping, you can walk back in just 10 minutes – incredibly convenient! There are also several convenience stores nearby, making it super easy to grab some soy milk and *youtiao* for breakfast in the morning. The room was clean, and the bed was so comfortable I didn't wake up with any back pain. Abby was also very responsive, and I'd definitely want to stay here again on my next visit!

My recent trip to Changchun led me to stay at the Shangri-La, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk service – it was incredibly efficient and thoughtful throughout. The staff always had a warm smile, patiently answered all my questions about local transportation and dining, and even proactively helped me arrange an early check-in. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel completely at ease, which is so comforting when you're away from home. The thoughtful room details were also a huge plus! The alarm clock by the bed actually has a built-in wireless charging function. I could just place my phone on it to charge – no more fumbling for chargers or dealing with tangled cords. For someone like me who often forgets their charger, this was incredibly practical. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. These two extra-special touches made the experience far exceed my expectations. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Changchun and will wholeheartedly recommend it to my friends!

It's truly a positive development to have a hotel of this caliber in the Northeast region. The facilities are excellent, the amenities are top-notch, and the service was good. My child went down the slides over fifty times and wanted to keep playing the next day! It's a shame we only booked one night, but we promised them we'd return. The service was good overall, but some amenities are still being progressively added/improved. For instance, after the hot springs, there were no assisted bathing services like body scrubs or milk baths, which made the relaxation experience feel a bit incomplete. Also, evening entertainment options around the hotel were a bit far to reach on foot. We look forward to seeing further development in the future.

The hotel is very clean but when I was there with my family, there are a lot of constructions ongoing near the hotel and it was raining every single day when we are at Changchun. The hotel staff is very nice and efficient esp when we had only 30 mins to board our train to head to Changbaishan. The hotel staff, Fu Yang, is able to cater for us and understand that we are rushing for time. We managed to board our train successfully thanks to Ms Fu Yang. The breakfast options were rather limited. There was a signage saying that we could have how we wanted our eggs. We requested for the chef to cook it; the chef booked for us unwillingly and gave us an attitude. From the previous guest reviews, there are many positive reviews with regards to the buffet hence we decided to pay for the breakfast buffet. Overall, we will still stay in the same hotel if we visit Changchun once again. :) Side note, the train station was rather far away from the hotel. However, DiDi works fine too.

After a trip to Changbai Mountain, we stopped over in Changchun for two nights on our way back. After a long search on Ctrip, we finally settled on this hotel for two reasons: the TV series 'A Lifelong Journey' was filmed here, and it's a garden-style hotel. Our two-night stay certainly didn't disappoint, though our only regret was that it was too short. The hotel is located on Nanhu Street, directly opposite Nanhu Park. Bus G252 stops right outside the main entrance. The nearest subway station is a bit far, about two kilometers away, so we mainly relied on ride-hailing services for getting around. Our room in the main building wasn't large, but it was well-equipped and very clean. It seemed to have been renovated a few years ago. Staying here, you can actually sleep with the windows open at night without needing the air conditioning. Breakfast was also decent, but the dining area seating was predominantly round tables. The à la carte dinner at Bailian Hall was excellent. While a bit pricey, the taste was absolutely superb! It's best to stay for at least three nights here. That way, you can take a complimentary ride on the hotel's electric buggy to fully explore and enjoy the premises. The hotel is truly enormous, covering an area of 1290 mu (approximately 212 acres), and comprises over a dozen buildings.

The hotel facilities are great, with a hot spring and comfortable rooms. We also booked a handpan experience and a photoshoot, both of which were good. The only suggestion I have is that I'm not sure if management has set some strange KPIs, but the experience of staff asking for positive reviews was not great, especially since they asked to mention specific names. No wonder the comment section is full of names being mentioned, but honestly, the service wasn't memorable enough for me to recall any names. Each staff member was diligent and did what they were supposed to, but most of them didn't have a smile on their face. Whether in the restaurant or other areas, the staff seemed very flustered, hurried, and expressionless, which doesn't really fit the vibe of a resort hotel. Interestingly, the outsourced services like the handpan instructors, hot spring restaurant staff, and photographers showed a bit more warmth and naturalness. Management really needs to consider why this is the case.

I stayed here for several consecutive days and was very satisfied. Every staff member I met greeted me warmly, and I especially want to commend Ivy for her help during my stay. I wanted to experience different room types, so I booked several different rooms. Ivy proactively asked about my preferred time to switch rooms and, once the new room was clean, she notified me and sent over the key card. Her service-mindedness is truly excellent. I highly recommend everyone to stay here. It's in the city center, making it convenient to go anywhere, and The MixC is just across the street, solving all your dining and shopping needs. It's fantastic!

GGuest UserWhat a trip! The rooms are MASSIVE. It's essentially a full apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. The beds are extra extra large so perfect for families. For Western travellers, you may find the bed a bit hard. We were perfectly happy with it though. I personally will recommend Holiday Inn at the resort for those with kids. It's right next to the beginner tracks and that hotel hosts all the children activities and kids club. Though I don't know what the room is like. More from a location perspective. Wanda Jin Suites has 2 buildings. Best to get the 1st building as much closer to the beginner tracks and the service centre to rent ski gears. We were in the 2nd building. I will say from a location perspective, it was inconvenient for us as once you have snow boots on, it's a trek to carry your ski gears back and forth. There are lockers to put your ski gears in so we'll utilise that more next time. You do need WeChat though and if you don't have a local number, it gets difficult. If you're from Australia, just lose the 0 and add 18 at the front of your mobile number and that will get you through. But best to just get a local SIM to save you the hassle. But from a food perspective, they're right outside the building and short walk to the hot springs and the water park which is all included in the hotel fees. Including ski pass and going to the snow playground. At the snow playground, there's snowmobiles for kids to ride on amongst a lot of other activities. But that's extra money. Again, need WeChat. The hotel concierge when you check in will add you into their WeChat and you can ask them questions and they'll help you. Very convenient. It's an amazing place to come with kids. Water park is insane there and my son had a blast. The hot spring was also an amazing experience. Though very cold to get in and out of the hot springs at -20C. There are other activities outside the resort which hotel concierge will help you arrange. They can also shuttle you to the nearby village for more authentic food if you don't want to eat inside the resort. Beaware that the pharmacy at the resort does not have any ibuprofen or paracetemol. Strongly advise you get WeChat. You can book pretty much all the activities through their WeChat mini app. Including ski coaches. There are rogue ski coaches coming up to you to get business so beware. We almost got on a shuttle with a rogue coach that were gonna take us elsewhere and weren't even letting adults come (it was for the kids) and a hotel staff came up and essentially stopped them and forced them to give back the deposit. Book your coaches early. They book out quick. Particularly snowboarding. We also booked an igloo making class for our son and he had an amazing time. Though it's all in Mandarin of course. They have half day and full day camps for kids so parents can drop off and chill for the day. The staff here can barely speak English so bring your AI translator with you. We had less of a problem since I can speak Chinese but my husband often got stuck and needed me or even my son to help navigate around. Make sure you go back to the counter after returning your ski gear at the end of your stay to get your deposit back. We had an amazing time and would consider coming back.

__WeChat57549****We brought our teenager for a skiing trip during the Christmas holidays, our first time at Changbaishan. We chose Wanda Changbaishan International Resort, and the snow quality here is fine and soft, with wide slopes that are suitable for beginners. The resort is built around the ski trails, making it perfect for an immersive skiing experience. If you're not specifically coming for skiing, you don't necessarily need to stay within the resort itself. The resort facilities are comprehensive, offering everything from equipment rentals to professional coaches. However, you absolutely must book coaches in advance during the ski season (you can search for the 'Wanda Hotels & Resorts Travel Platform' mini-program on WeChat). We couldn't book a coach on-site for our two-day trip; it was extremely difficult to get a last-minute booking. On the other side of the ski resort, there's a dining area with a rich selection, from light meals to full dinners, all at reasonable prices for a scenic area. Additionally, the resort has hot springs and an indoor playground, great for relaxing after skiing or for family activities. Since our teenager is older, we skipped these; they're more suited for younger children. My personal opinion is that all the hotels within the resort are quite similar. Since they all include ski passes, there's no need to choose an expensive one. The hotels in Wanda are all a bit older and not very new. Also, most of your time will be spent skiing, so you won't be in the hotel much. Every hotel is within a 3-5 minute walk to the Wanda ski slopes, so just pick one that's a good price! Overall, the skiing experience with the kids was very satisfying. The snow quality is excellent, and the services are complete. Just remember to book your coach in advance!

NNina_QuPark Hyatt Changbaishan | The Pros and Cons of a Family Ski Trip We recently took our two kids to Park Hyatt Changbaishan, and were warmly welcomed right from check-in – the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a main building room with an extra bed, understanding our family's needs, which saved us a lot of hassle! The outdoor balcony of our suite was a hidden gem, offering incredible views. We watched the sunrise over the snowy mountains with clouds rolling in, and during the day, we could see people skiing on the slopes – truly immersing us in the snowy atmosphere. The hotel amenities were also very convenient; we could rent ski equipment right downstairs at the snow house, and there was even a mini Bognar counter to browse. Being so close to the ski resort was a huge plus. However, there were a few minor issues. The direct ski-out slope was better suited for beginner snowboarders. As dual-boarders, we had to walk down to the mountain base, and then trudge back in heavy ski boots after skiing, adding an extra 30 minutes of 'cardio workout' – which really detracted from the experience. The outdoor hot springs were definitely a lifesaver in winter, but our slippers kept getting lost. Walking barefoot on the freezing ground was quite unpleasant! Calling for service also took a long time to get a response, which was disappointing. The room facilities also showed some 'signs of age.' The iron screw on the wooden door next to the bathtub was rusted and detached. When we reported it to housekeeping, we were simply told to 'leave it as is.' The sharp corners of the table by the sofa in the living room led to our child accidentally scratching their leg. Staff only symbolically put on corner protectors after the incident, showing a lack of attention to detail. The breakfast selection was somewhat limited, and many dishes had to be ordered à la carte. This could affect dining efficiency, especially when rushing to get the kids to ski early. Overall, the hotel's location and basic services are commendable, but there's significant room for improvement in terms of facility maintenance and detailed service. We hope for a better experience next time.

GGuest UserI spent a long time choosing a hotel for our trip to Changbai Mountain. Since we only had two days, it was a challenge to ensure our family could enjoy everything thoroughly. Ultimately, we were very satisfied with our choice. Firstly, the hotel isn't far from the Changbai Mountain entrance, and they offer direct shuttle service. The hot spring is right within the hotel, which was our first winter hot spring experience. It was a bit crowded, but that's to be expected during peak season. We went skiing on the day we checked in. We almost gave up because of the tight schedule – we arrived at 1 PM and the shuttle left at 1:30 PM. However, Mr. Zhang from the hotel encouraged us and actively helped our whole family (renting clothes, assisting with quick check-in procedures), and we had a great time. The small park behind the hotel was also fantastic; we fed animals and enjoyed small snow activities. We even built a little snowman in the park the next morning. As for food, breakfast was decent, but dinner à la carte was a bit pricey – you can spend as much or as little as you like.

GGuest UserOur first stop in Changbai Mountain was the Wanda JinHua Resort Hotel. The service started even before check-in, with the butler proactively contacting me to provide important information. Upon arrival at Changbai Mountain West Station, there was a complimentary shuttle bus waiting for us. Check-in was incredibly smooth; we were able to get into our room by 12 PM, and the butler even helped us arrange a late check-out, which was a nice touch. Although the hotel's decor is a bit dated, it still maintains an overall elegant and sophisticated feel. The mattress was exceptionally comfortable, and from the window of our king-sized room, we had a view of the ski resort outside. The hotel provided numerous benefits, including skiing, hot springs, and access to the water park. Since Changbai Mountain was closed due to heavy snowfall for a few days, we spent all three days at the Wanda Resort. We used one of our passes for night skiing and another one during the day to take the cable car up General Mountain for sightseeing, where there was even a coffee shop at the summit. Due to time constraints, we didn't get to visit the hot springs or the water park, but we signed up for a hiking tour recommended by the hotel, which was an amazing experience. It's worth mentioning that the breakfast at JinHua Hotel was excellent! The coffee was particularly delicious, and they even had fruits and noodle soups that catered to southern palates. The resort town also boasts many great restaurants. We had some ginseng chicken soup, which was wonderfully warming, and the restaurant owners even offered complimentary rides back to the hotel. Even though we didn't get to visit Changbai Mountain itself, we had an unforgettable three days at the JinHua Resort Hotel and the Wanda Resort. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

WWanzixiaoxiaoThe room is very spacious, and they replace the clean towels daily even for extended stays. There's a free laundry room, which is super convenient! Especially the restaurant – it's affordable and incredibly delicious, with not a single dish disappointing. I highly recommend the Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) and Da La Pi (cold jelly noodles). I also want to give a special shout-out to the restaurant. After coming down from Tianchi Lake, I really wanted some ginger soup to warm up. Even though they hadn't made it before, they tried their best and made a whole pot for free, delivering it thoughtfully to my room with bowls and spoons. It was still piping hot when I received it – I was so touched and grateful! I highly recommend this hotel! It truly felt like a home away from home!

SSH_TanThis is a new hotel. The room was spacious with comfortable furnishings, and there was plenty of space to lay out our luggage. The bathtub was also very clean; I wiped it down and didn't see any discoloration. The staff at the hotel entrance were very enthusiastic and proactive in helping us with the car doors for getting in and out. Thank you for your hard work! One time, one of them even quickly carried my sleeping child from the car door into the lobby to prevent him from catching a cold on a chilly winter night. A big thank you to them! (Of course, I thanked him directly at the time, hehe). On the day we checked in, they even upgraded our room. The upgraded room was very large, and the floor was high enough to offer a distant street view. The young man who helped us take our luggage to room 913 on December 28th was also very professional and enthusiastically recommended must-visit attractions and dining spots in Changchun. Thank you for leaving us with such a wonderful impression of the people and things in Changchun. The smart toilet in the room was also very good. The only issue I reported to the front desk, about the slow drainage in the shower, was immediately resolved, which is highly commendable. Because of all these good impressions, I can still remember them weeks after returning home. You can book with confidence; I'm truly satisfied. Keep up the great work!
