I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, tidy, and well-maintained, making it worth every penny. The room was good, new and clean, especially after the terrible experience of staying at Radisson, Amari seemed to be very cost-effective.
The breakfast environment and service were good. Although the food was not particularly appetizing, it was still okay.
The swimming pool was also quite long, but the gym was not in operation. In addition, there was no bathroom and changing room in the swimming pool, so you had to go back to the room to change wetly, but these were minor problems. In Sri Lanka, the conditions were already very good.

Overall experience is good. But there is some areas need improving
Since my reservation AI went for take my evening snack. As per mentioned went to Pinklobster outlet. Had to wait to find someone in that outlet. And I went to Reception and informed there is no one and they called. Again I went back and stay around 15min and one of the person cam and inform us there is snack in another location.
Pool bar service is perfect
In the evening there was no lights in out corridor and evening Wifi not worked in our room informed to reception and they help us to resolve the problem.
In the restaurant plates are not in good condition. There is lots of scratch marks on the plate. (Black marks)

The experience was very bad. I booked the hotel early, but when I arrived at the local hotel, I was told that there was no reservation information. A large group of people were waiting at the front desk. It was very bad. The entire communication was back and forth between three parties. What’s even more outrageous is that one of the bookings has no room. I never thought that a platform as big as Ctrip would make this mistake. Beruwala is hot this season and mosquitoes bite in the evening. The final solution is also terrible. I have never dared to do so again. Booked an overseas hotel on Ctrip.

Wow! What a fantastic crew at this hotel. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. Whatever you want, they will help you find. In addition, they have a simple but quite hospitable breakfast with some decent choices. I think what impressed us the most was the care they took to notice of we needed water, seemed lost, or needed help, even hooking us up for a motorcycle rental. Nice job, great staff, walking distance to a romantic dinner on the beach!

TTalushaНа обратном пути выбрали для проживания Негомбо, потому что тут довольно близко до аэропорта - на следующее утро вызвали такси за 550 рупий и доехали 8 км за полчаса. Опять же тут значительно дешевле, чем в Коломбо и приличнее - частная застройка. Приехали на поезде из Хиккадувы, от станции около 20 минут пешком.
Мужчина на респшен сперва заявил, что мы ошиблись с отелем, по-английски он еле-еле. сунули ему в нос фотографии бронирования. Бронирование с оплатой наше не нашел, но в номер заселил. Пока он связывался с менеджером и она нашла оплату, я успела наябедничать в трип ком, те правда снова затупили и только когда мы уже были в аэропорту, написали, что с бронью все в порядке, хозяйка мол подтвердила. Номер просторный, из трех комнат: прихожая, спальня, кухня, плюс ванная. Есть чайник, бутылки с водой, посуда. Хороший вариант как раз переночевать перед самолетом.

MmengdiPlease take a closer look if you come to Negombo. I booked two rooms, but when they arrived, they were connected to a suite separated by a door. The surroundings are relatively remote. Breakfast is 3 US dollars per person, but the quality is very good. We originally spent the night in Negombo, and the elephant orphanage the next day, in fact, there is really no need to waste money in the elephant orphanage. Because I only used Ctrip to watch, I feel that Negombo has no good hotels at all. In fact, there are many good hotels here! There are many delicious gourmet shops. But to book this kind of reservation, Ctrip has very few listings.
