Situated about 20 minutes away from Tianjin West Railway station by car, this serviced apartment is big with sufficient facilities convenient for a family to stay in. The beds were clean and comfy and the ensuite toilet had a bathtub too. The common living room area had a couch and a TV for friends and family to gather comfortably if they intend to stay in the apartment for some bonding time. Highly recommended if anyone is travelling with a large group as its price is also very affordable!

I took my parents to play during the holidays. I looked at the photos online and it seemed pretty good, but I found it was really not good when I got there. First, the sofa in the room was very dirty and I didn't dare to sit on it. The sofa in my parents' room was the same. Second, the curtains in my room were shaky and about to break. Third, the hotel was on the 4.5th floor but there was no elevator. Fourth, the sound insulation was poor and I could hear people laughing next door. The gym facilities were very makeshift and it was better not to use them. Finally, I barely slept for one night. The price was not cheap in Tianjin. It was more than 200 yuan a night and there was no other advantage except that it was close to Tianjin Station. In order to be close to sleep for one night, why not just stay at a much cheaper place nearby? In fact, it was a very ordinary room. The decoration photos made it look high-end. If you don't want to maintain many things, such as the sofa, it's better not to use it. It wastes space and you don't even dare to put clothes on it.

The accommodation was clean and cleaned every day. It’s very well located for transport. Restaurants, shops, cafes are also in the immediate vicinity, very convenient. The guest host was great, we could ask for help, he was always readily available. We are glad we found this place, we can only recommend it.

We checked in at the ”Somerset Olympic Tower”, late Saturday night. This, as another branded hotel, disappointed us greatly, due to basic facilities not being available (we checked out). Upon arrival at the Somerset Olympic Tower, we were warmly received, by the front of house. Special thanks to ”Avery”, for her hospitality and for making us feel right at home, much appreciated. Note: Check in and check out, was effortless and prompt, the way it should be. Thank you. Our suite was exceptionally well equipped. A well layed out kitchen, with major (Fridge, Washing Machine) and minor appliances (Microwave) as well as cutlery and crockery. (Everything you need, for a long or short stay). The dining room had a table and chair set, suitable for family or friends. We enjoyed the lounge area as well, the sofa was comfortable and the area is well organised. There is an office area as well, should you require the use of a desk. The bedroom has a on suite bathroom, equiped with a bathtub / shower combination. We found the bed to be comfortable, with quality bedding on it. The suite has numerous windows, with clear city views. Breakfast (buffet) was excellent, with a great selection (Western and Chinese Style). The facilities are on international standard. Guests can enjoy a fully equiped professional gymnasium, and a heated swimming pool during their stay. Overall we were extremly satisfied with the service received, the facilities and the meals. We look forward to visiting the ”Somerset Olympic Tower” often, and in the near future.
