I stayed at the end of February. I chose this hotel in order to go to Towada Lake Winter Story. The location is very convenient. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to Towada Lake slowly under heavy snow. The check-in experience is much better than expected. I originally thought that this kind of old hotel would be old and dirty, but I was wrong. Although the whole hotel is decorated in a more traditional way, it is not old-fashioned but has a lot of flavor. The furniture is a bit old but it does not affect the comfort. I have to praise its bedding and bed, which are super comfortable. It seems to have magic and I feel very comfortable lying in the bed without doing anything. I have stayed in high-end hot spring hotels before, but the beds are not as memorable as this one. The room has a ”home” feeling and it is really comfortable. The only drawback is that the pillow is a rice bag, which is not accustomed to sleeping on it. In addition, the wind power of the hair dryer is not strong enough. The wind power and heat are similar to those of a dryer. Ladies with long hair will get tired of blowing their hands. Apart from the above two points, I am very satisfied with the rest. The breakfast selection is sufficient and tastes good, so you won't feel hungry. The dinner you choose when booking the room online will be prepared in the public canteen. It tastes good and has many styles. The hairy crabs are delicious. I think it is great value to have such food and accommodation quality at this price. The staff is also very friendly and proactive. I stayed for two nights and felt so comfortable that I didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this hotel. I am very satisfied and like it.
This time we went to Oirarikei and Lake Towada to enjoy the autumn leaves for two days. My family and I chose to stay here. Although it is some distance from the west exit of Hachinohe Station, there are many buses to get there. There are also many places to go shopping and eat at night. More importantly, The price is reasonable, the breakfast is delicious and the living environment is very good. I will stay here again next time I come. Don't highly recommend it to friends and family.
Convenient location, free parking, close to the food center and Sunday morning market! The bedding in Fanxin Hotel is comfortable, but the toilet is a bit old, everything else is good 👍 I will stay there again next time if I have the chance.
Convenient location which is almost about 5min walk away from the station. Staff over there are very helpful and friendly. Room feels a little dusty but it’s still alright. Recommended if you want to stay here for convenience.
As a budget hotel, this room rate includes free breakfast and parking, really impeccable, everything is great.
The only regret is that the hotel restaurant is closed at night.
There are many restaurants near the hotel. It is because I have stayed late and the restaurant is not easy to have a seat.
Later, he could eat an octopus ball and eat instant noodles at a nearby convenience store.
So satisfied with our stay! 5 mins walk from station, food options nearby. Lobby is at L3, lobby is big and LOTS of amenities provided! Including bed room Slippers! Love the room size too! More than enough space to open our 3 big luggages. Toilet and bath area are separated.
Stayed at the MYSTAYS in tokyo and didnt expect anything. But was really surprised at this location!Really really enjoyed our stay here, will definitely be back!!
Toyoko Inn Shin-Aomori is just across the train station.
Very convenient when traveling with Shinkansen.
Rooms are new with good equipment and bed quite comfortable.
Breakfast is just average, very minimalist…
Good hotel for a short stay!
Just another toyoko inn, nothing to be complained about. But this hotel is just 1 minute walk away from Bus Mizuumi which is heading to Towada lake for seeing fall foilage. You can have your breakfast in hotel without rushing.

Amazing
GGuest UserI really liked this accommodation.
The owner and her mother are extremely nice and helpful and I could well talk to the owner. As I had to leave early in the morning, I got a great Bento (even with Natto-Onigiri, which I wished) instead of breakfast.
The dinner was delicious. There were different fish and vegetables and everything had a very good taste.
My room was large and had everything you need. You're directing yourself to the Futon.
The location is opposite to Tanesashikaigan train station and you are walking directly on the beautiful sea park. Also the first steps of the coastal trail can be great from here or driving to other sections.
I'd like to come back.
GGuest UserVery unique secluded oil lantern lit ryokan in the mountains of Aomori Prefecture. My second visit there - I absolutely loved the experience last year and decided to return. Unfortunately, half of the baths were closed due to flooding that destroyed the inn's suspension bridge across the Aoni River. Worse, they closed one of the remaining baths for cleaning prior to checkout time - without any advanced notification of the bath's closure. Disappointing - they should have considered leaving the remaining two baths open until checkout time - or at least advised at check-in time when the baths would be closed. Also, it would have been beneficial to reach out to guests ahead of time regarding the closure of the other two baths due to damage. Their website mentioned it in Japanese, but when I called I was told all the baths would be available for my early-September stay. Again, very disappointing considering the primary appeal Excellent rustic Japanese meals - both dinner and breakfast are included. Staff was friendly and accommodating besides the abovementioned issues. Sadly, unsure if I will return again.

Good hotel for a short stay!
GGuest UserOld hall. The hot spring room is very beautiful, the room is facing the Sea of Japan, suitable for watching the sunset. One night and two parking, the meal is quite satisfactory, nothing special. However, the aunts in the hall are very enthusiastic and take care of the instructions.

GGuest UserFor less than 1400, supper comes out for supper, breakfast comes out. After breakfast, each person drinks a cup of coffee or tea at the bar. The hot spring is free to soak. It is only 20 minutes away from Aomori by tram. I think it is worth taking a half day alone as a relaxing trip. After all, Aomori is very small. I live in the city for a day to see the House of the Sandman and my favorite punch card. Hoshino, why not try it! It's not easy to find a hot spring street that is not in the old forest in the mountains these days (in fact, the hotels in Asamushi are a bit scattered). Talk about the shortcomings, the hotel welcomes you free of charge, but you need to make an appointment or call after you arrive at Asamushi Station. You do n’t need to worry about Japanese if you are in Japan. Even more trouble. However, you can try your luck. Saturday's pick-ups may be intensive, and we just happened to get in the car. If you go by yourself, it ’s not as easy to find as the other ones. Yu Zhi Tang is next to him, and it ’s not easy to find. On the contrary, those who can see the sea are very eye-catching and easy to find. The room is a bit small, to be honest, but eating well can make up for some regrets.
SShahulSuperb views, buffet dinner options, diverse indoor outdoor bath options with salt and clear water!! A rare gem for families. Staff spoke English at front desk and restaurants, and welcome descriptions note is written in English as well. Alternate timings at bath for
Men and women assures equal views for both. The outside open air bath at the beach is probably the hit and can get crowded at sunset and less so during sunrise. The open air bath attached to the indoor area bath offers better sunset views, from an elevation of about 30 meters. We (family of three) enjoyed it very much and probably rank it the best of our three prefecture experience with respect to the bath.
NNapstabloocGood value for money! This is my first time to write a hotel review, because I think this is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in since my trip. I was helped to put my luggage in the room, and the key point is that I was also helped to insert the power card! ! ! Even if I am out, I can enjoy the air conditioning as soon as I enter the room. Anyway, I have never encountered such a situation in other hotels where I have to insert the room card to get electricity. This is a big plus. The only drawback is that there is a relatively high table in the single room that takes up some area. If the suitcase is too big, it may not fit flat.
Needless to say, the location is a few minutes away from the station. Lawson, barbecue restaurant and Korean food are just downstairs, and there are many food around. Very convenient
TThanathip MoolvongAlthough I chose this ryokan as alternative place but it turned out it is my best stay so far. It is not far from Kuroishi and it is accessible by public transport.
Room is very spacious and has both a bathroom and a toilet.
Onsen is good. It has both indoor and outdoor ones. Usually it is not busy.
Food was great both dinner and breakfast.
Free flow of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are also included. Very generous.
Staffs are very friendly, although their English are very limited.
Extra 150 yen per person for onsen tax. Cash term only.
Cashless payment is available.
GGuest UserEnjoyed our short stay there. Room was nice, not as cramped as other places we stayed. The only issues we had was finding the hotel and the room was very warm. Not much of a sign out front. We walked right past the entrance. The registration counter is on the third floor, so nothing is visible from the street.
We had to open the window to cool the room down The location was great, halfway between the station and Hirosaki park.
Having the bus stop right across the street was nice to have.
