I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Pluit during a business trip and overall found it to be a convenient and well‑priced option. The location is excellent—it’s literally above Emporium Pluit Mall, offering endless dining and retail choices right downstairs. The staff were courteous and efficient, from reception to breakfast service.

The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and reasonably spacious. It's conveniently located, and the hotel staff were friendly. Guests are required to provide a deposit of IDR 100,000 or leave their ID card as collateral. However, there were a few negatives: the towels were musty and had holes, the bathroom door couldn't be locked, and the room lighting was quite dim at night (though it was bright during the day thanks to an outward-facing window). During my 4-day, 3-night stay, there was a total power outage one midnight, leaving both the room and hotel corridor pitch dark for about 10 minutes.

The nearest restaurant is about 12-15 minutes walk away. Indomaret is a bit further away. There are no restaurants or convenient shops in front or beside the hotel. Good evening exercise to find dinner. Overall this hotel is good enough. Breakfast is for a local crowd.

Thinking the hotel was quite near to Ancol beach, I had no idea it was a bit of a challenge to find the hotel. We had to turn round twice round the location. We were given the 3rd floor, supposed to be a quiet area and non smoking zone. The first evening was rather noisy. Sounded like a group of travellers. Then a long, loud ring successfully drowned out our TV programme. Later at night, a faint suffocating cigarette smells came from the washroom. Lasted about an hour maybe. However, we loved the hotel spacious feel, the vibrant look and really enjoyed its selection of breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, we were not able to have our 2nd breakfast there because we had a very early flight back to Malaysia.

This hotel is so clean, nicely decorated and unique. The vibes of the hotel is very good and the rooms are big and well furnished. The hotel is next to a new and modern mall with many food options and a 24h supermart. The breakfast buffet has a very good spread and the staff are hardworking, friendly and helpful. There are always taxis waiting at the lobby for you to go anywhere in Jakarta. This is one of the best hotels in Jakarta.

Stayed overnight for the Jakarta Fair. The location is strategic, just a short walk to the JI EXPO entrance. The rooms are spacious and clean. There's also dedicated parking for hotel guests, so you don't have to compete with other Jakarta Fair visitors for parking.

Major issues with cleanliness: musty room, itchy bedsheet, smelly new towels (with long hair strands in its inner fold!), pee-stained toilet bowl&seat upon check-in. Pool water is murky and greenish, gym smells of lingering dried sweat. Hotel decor is unique, location is great, staff is friendly. Maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness of the whole hotel is a major issue.

The hotel features two swimming pools, one for kids and one for adults, with the adult pool being a fantastic infinity pool. There's also a playground, which makes this hotel absolutely perfect for a family vacation. I even managed to book a deluxe room on a promotion, making the trip incredibly affordable.
