Great location, super central, within 10 min walk of everywhere I needed to go. It was my first time in an Easy Hotel and was pleasantly surprised. No frills, but it was clean and the beds were very comfy. Although no tea or coffe facilities in the room, there was a 24 hr machine in the lobby which made up for it.

Have stayed several times when visiting family. Was disappointed this time not to have a fridge I had assumed all rooms had them and due to me booking later than normal I'd paid a higher rate than usual but got a shabbier room.I think they had changed the room I had booked as I'd booked a standard double but opened door up to a small room with a double and single bed set up. I didnt want my towels changing or room servicing but i witnessed reception staff constantly telling people they couldn't have there rooms serviced as they hadn't asked the day before and if you dont ask they dont go in to even change cups or empty bins. It hasn't put me off staying again.

The room is a normal-sized one, equipped with 2 British twin bed (Width: 130~140cm), and it was prepared in an acceptable condition. Air-conditioner is available, but you may find that it need to be turned on for 2~3 times a day, as the system had been set in an economic mode by the hotel. The breakfast is a typically British one, whilst baked mushroom is not provided. Nevertheless, the breakfast tastes good, and you could serve yourself with chocolate croissants, cheese, hot tomato mush, vegetarian-friendly sausages, honey, tinned peaches and coconut yoghurt. Toothpastes and toothbrushes could be ordered with a fee (￡2), thereby you'd better rake your own's. The location is reasonable, since the hotel adjoins the John Lewis shopping mall, and there's only 10-min walk way between the hotel and Leeds coach station. Meanwhile, you may walk to the Victoria and Trinity shopping centres in 15~20 minutes from the hotel, though it might be a bit inconvenient to travel to the nearby downtown by bus, given the lack of bus stops next to the gate of this hotel. Overall, it's a foolproof option for someone who anticipate a lodging experience surpassing the average level there.

I made the reservation at 12-07 arriving at about 3-15 - 3-30 and had requested an extra blanket but was told this was not possible because I had made the booking late and reception did not have any!! These are woodland cabins and I should have thought this would have been a common request and extra blankets readily available. The cabin was heated by a movable electric heater that took hours to warm the cabin. The doors closed with difficulty possibly because of repeated painting and there was paint over the metal handles. The outer door did not close from teh inside. There was no where to sit in the cabin and no free surface to set things as the only suitable surface, a desk, had a free standing TV on it. There was a wardrobe but it smelt fusty. The food was good but the service was slow because the restaurant seemed understaffed with teh barman helping as a waiter. The setting is beautiful and the staff are very pleasant. There is ample tea and coffee in teh room and a kettle.

This hotel was great. It gave us everything we needed and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Very well located in knotingley for drinking, free parking and pub next door, no complaints at from it, breakfast options are good, Morrisons is down the road and shops around the location.

Grand older style hotel with spacious public areas and some signs of disrepair. Staff were friendly and helpful and reopened the bar both nights after 11pm. Hotel was in a great location for us, between both train stations that we used and close to cafes, restaurants and attractions of Bradford. Room was clean, bright and large with tall sash windows. Bed was big and comfortably firm. A great weekend meeting up with old friends.

The staff were very helpful and polite and professional. The room was very clean big enough for short stay. Disappointed with having to pay for car parking . Would have liked dining to Finnish maybe 10 _10:30ish. Meals were good though. Would be easier to find if sign nearer the road.

Comfortable hotel, friendly staff. Great value for money. Breakfast was a little disappointing, no pastries or cold meats, or even butter. Decor is dated and tired (wallpaper peeling, windows rotting, curtains falling off, overgrown ivy) but this is all reflected in the price we paid.

Please note despite reading previous website reviews before booking hotel, the carpark is not free if booking through this site or any other 3rd party website. This change of £5 per night was implemented a few weeks ago but 3rd party website not updated with this information. The room and bathroom was mediocre and clean enough. Very old furnishings and curtains. The shower and bath facility was ok, shower gel provided. The ducts above could do with cleaning. We were on 1st floor which nice and quiet. No luft available. Please note there is a microwave, drinks and snacks available to purchase at reception. Would I book here again, maybe not going to be my first choice but was affordable for two nights @ £34 per night.
