Holiday Inn Express Caen - Epron

Great hotel, clean and tidy with a lovely selection for breakfast
Auberge Saint Pierre

Three hotels were opened on the island. After all, it was an island. It was empty like a ghost castle at night. The hotel service was quite good. It is acceptable to have a slightly higher consumption in the hotel.
Hôtel le Fer à Cheval

Room and bathroom are very clean. Breakfast was nice. Staff is very friendly. It's a good idea to reserve a parking space and it's in the underground parking at the casino not far from the hotel. Was disappointed we did not get the room in the main building. Had stayed in same hotel but in main building twice and enjoyed the stay so much that we decided to come back but this time the experience is different. Room is clean but small. WiFi is not working at all. TV is not working at all, alot of statics. No aircon or fan since it's very warm when we were there.
Hôtel de Brunville & Spa

A huge advantage is that a 3-star hotel at an excellent price is shared with a 4-star hotel located in a nearby building. This way you enjoy a shared breakfast and spa facilities that belong to the more expensive hotel. There is free parking in the streets near the hotel - the receptionist showed us on the map when we dropped off our luggage. There is parking at the hotel for a fee, 12 euros per day, but when we arrived it was full
Ambassadeur Hotel - Cherbourg Port de Plaisance
4.3/546 Reviews
I have stayed here many times but have also tried a couple of other Cherbourg hotels when the Amassadeur was full. I have to say this is still my favourite. The location in the town centre overlooking the marina is fantastic. The rooms are always clean and well appointed. The staff are friendly and most eager to assist. The breakfast buffet would put some 4 star hotels to shame!! You name it - the breakfast buffet has it. There is also a robotic dumb waiter trundling around taking plates to and from the kitchen - an unusual gimmick but does the job and entertains the youngsters (and me!). Don't miss this hotel - I guarantee you will not be disappointed - already booked my next visit!
Hotel Normandy

Hotel location is convenient, breakfast is good. The room was comfortable but small and the bathroom and shower were separate. Although the room is facing the street, it is still quiet. My daughter likes it very much.
La Mère Poulard

The hotel is well located at the entrance to the city of Mont Saint-Michel, but don't expect to see a surprising view of either the bay or the abbey. There are the roofs of the buildings that surround it that block the view. The room is quite spacious and well appointed. The bathroom has a corner bath, but no window. The beds and furniture are clean, but I was unpleasantly surprised to see the state of the window sills and frames blackened with dirt. I wanted to put my phone there to make a video of the sunrise but I was quickly challenged by the state of the windows. The hotel does not have an elevator and the stairs are quite narrow. Therefore, not suitable for the elderly or people with reduced mobility. There was enough choice for breakfast and the girl who served us was very nice. There were just some products (pain au chocolat, for example) that were not replenished. It was not yet the end of the service, however. We wanted to eat at the restaurant but the reservation is full. Surprisingly, passing there at the start and middle of service, a lot of tables are empty but we were refused access and sent to the restaurant of the nearby inn.
Brit Hotel Dieppe

Stayed here multiple times and every time it has been fine. Christophe was super friendly at the late check in, bed was comfy, shower and bathroom all absolutely fine. I can only say good things about this hotel if you're coming in on a late ferry from Newhaven, it's perfect. I will be back. TIP: I know it's a lot to ask a French hotel chain in 2023, but how about putting a few peepackaged British tea bags out like Tetley or PG Tips. A load of your visitors will be British due to your location and they'll love it .
Le Mouton Blanc

I think it's a room like a Japanese business hotel, so I like it, but it was clean and I was satisfied. The only disappointment was that the reception, breakfast restaurant and rooms were all in separate buildings and had to walk a little. And the building with the room is very hard to understand. I was explained in English but I couldn't understand. At the time of my check-in, another customer (French) was just trying to check in, and he said, `` Because we are checking in now, let's go to the room building '', so we went together Was. I was able to go to the room immediately because they were there, but if I were alone, I might not have been able to get to the room. I had such a serious thought, but the room was beautiful and there was no problem after check-in. Except that the shower water pressure was weak. We stayed at the island of Mont-Saint-Michel cheaply and were quite satisfied. Finally, the location of the reception is just up the stairs in front of the famous omelet store (pictured). And stairs (photo) to go to the room building. The breakfast restaurant faces the street so you can see it right away.
Hotel le Dauphin

An amazing place to stay, in the heart of Honfleur, with friendly staff and a unique feel. We took room 35 on the top floor and loved its quirky lay-out (due to the architecture of the 17th century building). As others have said, this isn’t the hotel for those with mobility issues due to the narrow steep stairs but if that isn’t an issue, it’s a winner. The beds are comfortable and metal blackout shutters keep the room dark for sleep. Free parking is available but it’s 850m up the cobbled road in a free car park so drop you bags before parking the car!
