The room was very nice and updated. Location was excellent and within walking distance to the Kid Rock concert. It was on the waterway, so it made the walk enjoyable....close to restaurants too. Parking at the guest garage was affordable at $17 for 24 hours. Hotel staff was very friendly.

Although this hotel has been remodeled and updated, they are understaffed and in need of continued upgrades. I noticed they do not have automatic door nor handicapped access to the front or side doors. They do have one working elevator. We stayed for a few nights and the same 2 cars were parked on the fire zone, which is a safety hazard. In the rooms, The floor although, laminate was dirty and could not be walked on barefoot. There is no coffee maker in the room. There is no security guard and there appeared to be some homeless People hanging around the hotel at all times. We took our own comforters and I’m glad we did because the bed cover was dirty. It is reasonably priced. As they say, you get what you pay for.

Good value. Convenient for meetings at the Hilton Anatole, which is a 5 minute walk away. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was as expected. All in all a convenient and perfectly adequate place to sleep whilst working.

This place is a true pit. Was given a room with garbage on the floor and something yucky on bathroom counter. Clearly no real cleaning had taken place. Immediately asked for new room and was shown another. This one was marginally better, and I was tired, so I accepted it. Still gritty and old and weird, and I regretted not bringing slippers because I didn’t want my feet in contact with that floor, but the bed seemed clean and it was surprisingly quiet. Woke the next morning and started the day, only to be greeted by a centipede coming out from under toilet, and the toilet not flushing. I packed up, went to front desk, and said I wanted to check out and get a refund for the remainder of my stay. First, I was offered another room. I said no. It was offered again. I said no again. The guy finally agreed to refund my remaining nights (got that on paper), but then called later to say his colleague who checked us in the night before said I “liked the room” and shouldn’t have a refund. Note to management: Tolerating something and liking something are entirely different things. This place is a health hazard, and my next call is going to be to the health department. Shame on Motel 6 corporate, too. It used to be a decent budget chain, but now they let franchisees slap their name on every variety of fleabag hotels, and I’m done with them!

Great location right off the highway and by college campus/Bush library. We enjoyed the room and design as well as the bar/commons area (unfortunately did not bring swim suits for the indoor pool for the cold rainy day, would have been nice). Was a little weird to not have ice available on the floors and finally figured out we had to just grap qt bags out of the freezer in the lobby (no one mentioned that) but for all the fun aesthetics and location there wasnt much we could complain about (as long as you look around and find the best price as online it was coming up wildly different). Overall would definitely stay again and recommend.

We arrived a little past 1pm and was able to check in. Hot towels scented with eucalyptus oil were provided. In this heat (94F), cold towels would've been my choice. Christine at the desk offered an ”upgrade” to 2 Queen bed accessible room. We'd booked a king bed, I guess 2 beds is an upgrade? She was very nice and friendly explaining the features and amenities the hotel offers. When you get off the elevator, one side of the hallway leads to Aloft rooms and the other Element rooms. The room décor was as pictured on their website, no surprises. We got room 614, which was the last one in the hallway and the window overlooks the building right next door. Not much of a view. Each day the lobby offers a different fruit-infused water. Breakfast pastries are from Caroline Coffeehouse. Other options are cereal, breads and a yoghurt bar. The only hot option made fresh changes daily. First day we were there were 2 types of pancakes and the second day were 2 types of breakfast tacos. I would've liked to see available fried eggs, sausages or breakfast potatoes. The great location and friendly staff can't be beat.
