My main complaints are for the service and instruction I experienced during my stay.
We were told it is peak season (a week after Easter vacation) so they were being busy.
After we checked in, no guideline/instruction were given.
We did not know which restaurants require a reservation, how to do room service, the location of the activities. Therefore we missed a lot of chance to receive the 'ALL-INCLUSIVE' service.
We were planning to join an activity, but we could not find it. We asked 3 staffs and finally one staff led us to the avenue.
Similar situation happened many times, staffs are unsure about most of the things.
In the restaurant, we ordered foods and they took us over 1 hour to arrive.
We requested for drinks or utensils they just simply forgot.
With the poor hospitality, I don't recommend this resort if you want to have peace in mind during the trip.
The property was amazing. You feel like you're in a paradise in the middle of the jungle.
The food was great and the service was top notch.
Only thing was some people had a bit too much fun at the pool and had accidents that made everyone evacuate the pool for cleaning, but there are other pools and lagoons that you can relax in to make up for it. Make sure you try the fish tacos at the restaurant by the beach and the roof vegan restaurant was also great for breakfast.
Also make sure you go to XPLOR.... it's so well made... and we had the most fun there. We regret going to Xelha... you go there in the morning and you're stuck there until 4pm where as XPLOR you can go back an forth freely. We regret not trying the other parks that were a part of the resort.
This hotel was in a great location. We stayed in the non-updated part but only because we wanted a larger room. The hotel offered to upgrade us but we wanted the room with a tub. We loved our stay there and would definitely go again!

The room with one large bed and two small beds is nice. The hotel pool is also nice, although there is no infinity pool. I personally feel that the experience is average. The food in the restaurant is average. The Italian restaurant is mainly about the presentation, and the food quality and taste are a little worse than some Italian restaurants. Teppanyaki is mainly about the chef showing off his skills, which is more fun, and the food is very average. I don't know if it's due to time, the seaside was very windy and rough during the few days we went there, and this section of the beach was not very smooth. I wanted to go snorkeling, but the waves were too high, so I couldn't do it for a week. Snorkeling in the Qizi area is a matter of luck. But the hotel can go to an inner bay of Carmen for snorkeling. We just snorkeled in Cozumel, so we didn't go to Carmen again.
Really lovely stay with especially friendly staff in the restaurant. Gorgeous resort with two beaches and nice pools - the food at the hotel restaurant is excellent so we ate there happily every night.
The rooms have a fabulous sea view.
They are new and fairly well maintained but some have a damp smell.
Overall it is a good hotel with friendly and efficient staff.
A downside for the reception with unfriendly and inefficient staff which means that we have not returned to this hotel this year. Pity.
I have stayed in some top hotels. This is undoubtedly the overseas hotel with the best value for money and the best service I have ever stayed in. It includes free park tickets. Other hotels pick up from the airport by shuttle bus or the like. This one is a Model Every employee around the clock is enthusiastic and serious. They also speak the best English among the Ten Days Inn in Mexico.

Good food and amenities, we came back a few days later for a second stay after our travel plans changed. Mixed service across the hotel, sometimes good but sometime very bad, really depends on the individual helping you. Good drinks and cocktails. This hotel will not help you arrange taxis from the airport they told us this was not a service they offer...

Lots of beach beds and umbrellas, extremely clean, not designated so ppl from other properties come and use it,waiters constantly offer food/drinks NOT free 100pesos for corona, food more than back home in Canada roughly 300pesos for wings or burger or chicken *****s. Freshly baked fish 750Pesos/kg, 3 tacos-300pesos.
Tiny buffet if you think you gonna have rows and rows of food think again,MayBe 20foot long buffet,EXACT same food for 10 days(brutal). One person working @ omelette station with min 12min wait.Even though it was prepaid breakfast they make you sign a receipt 1100Pesos, couldn't figure out why, so after 4th day we were getting ZERO service, yup wouldn't even offer a cup of tea/coffee,ended up figuring it out, they expect 10% tip on the 1020Pesos(cost of breakf for 2ppl) so 100pesos each time you eat(NOT joking),so our 20-50pesos tips WERENT enough!
For dinners we ALWAYS go off resorts when in cancun cuz there are soo many great options, this hotel is not walking distance to any restaurants like Harry's, Mono, Ilios, but bus station is right outside (12pesos each way)
Room facing Lagoon which is main road, can hear EVERY car, person talking,so noisy day and night, plus our room was next to janitor's room so in and out slamming door and talking on a radio from 6am till 6pm(BRUTAL!)shower is large, sink over floating, mattresses rock hard but sheets are super white,AC worked well, 2pools,restaurant and pool bar empty.Lots of beds avail, Check in/out super quick and front desk people are Extremely helpful!
So there's gas station across the street beer is 25pesos, there's supermarket 7min walk beer is 15pesos and has fresh Fruits, liq, jugs of water
Basically if you looking for Mexican experience ALL inclus, cheap food/drink this is NOT it! If you looking for quiet getaway with prices on higher end but still be in Mexico this is the place for you! If you looking for same sand and all inclusive def need to look else where unless you don't mind grocery shopping on your vacay.
Would I come back to this location-I doubt it,just doesn't make sense to me in sense of México experience!I def don't feel like spending more $ than I do @ home
Decent place nothing fancy. Could use some maintenance and love

GGuest UserHotels staff were friendly the hotel was clean. It was a very nice ambiance. I love the rooftop pool. My only problem was that it’s nothing open late to eat or drink. Hotels staff were friendly the hotel was clean. It was a very nice ambience. I love the rooftop pool. My main issue was that it’s nothing open late to eat or drink. They should have vending machines or some type of service if you get thirsty after 10 PM.
MMYOUNG-SUIt is good because the ADO terminal and downtown are close.
Overall, the facilities are clean and good.
My room doesn't have air conditioning, but the wind is good and the fan is cool.
But it's hard to open the window because it's in the hallway.
There is a Japanese ramen udon sake shop and ice cream and coffee cafe in the hotel building.
LLaura!Excellent glamping in the middle of nature, clean, ordered and to enjoy absolute tranquility.
Unfortunately, the works of the train that make it difficult to contact the environment.
The hotel has its own open foods 24hs and there is a lot of fauna ... A family of monkeys, accompanied us for hours in the hotel's room.
The restaurant is very good, we have dinner and breakfast there, all perfect.

JJose LobatoFantastic experience
Kind staff and great amenities
Rooms are particularly great for couples, very romantic setup
I wish the entrance was better located
CCeleb_prettyyCasa Kaoba is a nice hotel. I stayed here for one night. The location is quite far from everything but it’s very peaceful. The breakfast was good with Mexican and western options. The room and bathroom were spacious. The only thing I had a problem with was the scum on the bathroom shower head. Otherwise, everything else was fine.
