Really enjoyed the stay, the beach was quiet and had a great view of the sunset. Service was great and the staff were very hospitable and kind. The rooms are basic but very clean and the bed is really comfortable and big.

The food and location was excellent!!!! A bit hard to get to but we paid 10$ from koh touch for the hotel tuktuk to the hotel. Delicious burger and mango salad and cocktails brought to us on the beachfront! Nice free kayak available to paddle around. Quiet area with a few hotels with excellent swimming pools to enjoy and relax. The bed was hard unfortunately but the sea view bungalow was amazing. Our shower gel wasn’t replenished and the service was a bit slow.

The small tree house stands high and looks far away. The sea breeze blows in the morning to see the sun. There are many dining and cafes in the small island and village of the Bank of China. In the evening, you can swim and play in the water. After the low tide, the coastline will be widened. Another style!

Hotel located in a great place right on the beach, the downside is the old houses and old rooms. The tiles in the room are falling off, additionally rusty Containers for body wash and washing liquid, air conditioning works as it pleases, the room is also smaller than in the description, located away from the beach in a wooden building. Breakfast is very poor, generally there is nothing to eat, juice from a carton, coffee from Nalewajka, poor food and if you go for breakfast later there is nothing to eat, they add fruit by the piece, add juice by the piece just to have something. The sunbeds are of course occupied by the Januszs from early morning where towels lie and no one uses them, a massacre. Generally, if they took care of the hotel, in my opinion it has the best location on the entire island. Additionally, a nice village.

We were unfortunate to travel during low season, which in Koh Rong means 99% rain everyday, by conversations with locals they are fully aware of this yet all bookings and activities are business as usual but cannot be enjoyed, such as snorkling, BBQ boat etc. because of the weather we were stuck in the hotel 90% of the time, there is NO TV (it does say in room amenities, I read too late) so just be aware, specially if travelling with little ones. The pool is not an option because of thunder and lighting. It costs 15USD to get to the hotel from the pier. There is no ATM on the island only one stall that lets you use your card to pay the local then they give you the money, this is charged at 8% 😡 This is important because for lack of internet connection you cant always use card to pay at restaurant for your lunches and dinner, also when you can, there is a 3% fee to do so. All activities must also be paid in USD but old rugged bills are not accepted even if they have been given to you by other traders ib the island or if the bills got a bit wet in the rain, which was a frequent problem. So come with plenty of new dollars or you'll find yourself stuck with little options. the night before check out, we asked the staff to please let the ferry company know we would be taking the 9:30am ferry to Sihakouville (as instructed by the ferry company). We booked a 9:00am return trip to the pier as recommended. However as we arrived the ferry was leaving, at 9:15. We were not the only ones left behind. Some people had a flight to catch later that day and were made to pay another 17USD per person as according to them it was ”impossible” to fit them into one of the almost-empty-boats of one of the other many ferry companies, because they dont work together, some families payed up to 70USD to not miss their flight despite it not being their fault. The hotel was standard, for a beach hotel, nice huts, the beds were clean and comfortable and the highlight was definitely the food at the restaurant, over the 4 days, we tried many dishes all of them delicious. I can imagine during sunny season it must be a beautiful location and a beautiful hotel. saying this, I already thought it was overpriced for low season compared to similar hotels in Thailand and Bali, so for me the price you would pay in high season I would not consider it, specially given the whole experience with the ferry and USDs. ☹️

Pros: - the most beautiful beach I've seen in my life. White sand as thin as flour. Transparent water. Fish swimming around, seashells, crabs... - kids love it. There's almost no waves. You can walk 50m into the sea and the water just reaches your waist. Great for little kid. Our 1.5 y.o. kid loved playing in the water. - the restaurant of the hotel serves fusion food. Delicious and not pricey. The neighboring hotel Your and Me has a restaurant that makes more traditional khmer food that is also delicious. - the room is spacious, bright, with an incredible view. Anyway, you will spend the whole day outside. - for 100$ you can take a boat and do fishing, snorkeling, touring the island. - the hotel has free kayaks, paddles. Can improve: - the staff is very laid back. They are very nice but at the restaurant for instance, better go to the bar to order I saw people do that rather than waiting for someone to service you. Everyone seems ok with that. Cons: - the shower is outdoor. So washing outside trying to avoid mosquitoes is not great. One night we had a visitor, a huge spider fell on my wife while she was giving bath to our kid, it was the size of my hand. Not a great experience. But we'll this is nature. Can't fault the hotel. - we staid at a double room the night before. And the only difference was just a few intelligent change in furniture : trash in with a lid, glass door in the restroom so natural light comes in, a bathtub that was not really useful. For these small changes the price difference is huge. Important Note: I learnt unfortunately that the island is infested with sand fleas. All the hotels are facing this issue. A bite is not dangerous but bothersome if you're allergic which was my case. My wife and two kids had no issue. But I was bitten on my back because there was some sand on my bedsheet and the sand fleas had a feast at night. My back itched crazy for one week. The bad thing is it seems hotels have no pharmacy. So be prepared and bring your own topical cream or cortisone cream, and antihistamine just in case. It seems I was the only one in the hotel to have this issue but googling it I found a few bloggers describing having this issue. Note 2: there's a ferry that can bring you directly from Sihanoukville to the hotel's beach, one per day. We took the GTVC to LongSet Beach Pier, then had a taxi, 5$ per person. We did that. It was a smooth ride. The taxi was a great experience

For the old cannons on the north side of the island, this condition is good, but the single room blocks the light and does not block the sound, and people can hear it clearly. Apart from the rooms, the location of this hotel is the most beautiful. The sunrise on the mountain is superb. The bars in the public area are among the best on the island. The food is good, and more expensive than the roadside store. It's suitable for one person or two brothers, even the little girl.

This hotel needs to buy a boat ticket in the royal sand. This is the only two-wave boat that can go directly to the tamu hotel. Although the hotel is on Gaolong Island, it is on the pagoda beach. If you take the boat to Gaolong Island, you actually get to the longset beach instead of the pagoda beach. You need to make a taxi or a motorcycle for about half an hour from longset beach to pagoda beach. So those who want to go directly to the Tam Hotel will need to ask for the hotel mailbox on Ctrip after the booking is completed and then actively contact the hotel. The location where you bought the ticket and then booked it for you. You can arrive in advance on the day. Cash is 44 USD/person/round trip ticket is double the price of other high As for the hotel is very quiet, there is basically no place to go around. No Koh Rong Samloem is beautiful and lively, but quieter Hotel food is not bad, not expensive, two people can eat very well for 20 dollars But the sweet dream hotel next door is better and cheaper. Candle light dinners can also be arranged and there are whole fish. The tamu hotel only has some simple fast food. If I want to play, I don’t recommend it. If I’m in Westport and I have gone to other islands, I want to spend a quiet day. Otherwise, it is not recommended. The people in this group have a poor time concept and are lazy. The round-trip boat is often late for an hour and two hours. Be mentally prepared to wait at the dock. Said the anniversary, the hotel sent champagne

i absolutely love this place. Food, beach, sea, pool everything was gorgeous. Any dish and drinks from menu was so much delicious. Staff was so friendly and helpful. It was really the best choice for such price. Also I liked so much that can take for free some boats and kayaks from the hotel. We really had more fun there. Also want to mention some minuses which maybe not totally connected with the hotel but would like somebody tell me in advance about it: 1) hotel doesn’t accept all cash. At our last day we need to get some changes and hotel didn’t accept my hundred dollar because there was some red stamp on it. As for me it’s so strange but I heard it could happen in Cambodia. But next day when we moved to the Sihanouk they accept this hundred dollar easily , so I don’t understand this logic too much. But even the hotel didn’t accept that hundred they still help us with some cash as for us it was urgent to buy tickets for early morning ferry. 2) and the biggest minus it was trip which we bought from the hotel: fishing +snorkeling +sunset+plankton Never ever buy it! Safe 20$ for anything else. The most useless half of day of my trip was there. And what make me sad it was last day in the Koh Rong. Was upset that spent last evening at this stupid way. The tour is organized by tourist group “three brothers “ and the hotel sell it. Could be nice if they tell from beginning that this trip is a total 💩and don’t allow spoil vocation of there customers. But anyway nobody force us to buy it so can’t totally blame hotel, but…😢 So will explain why I such upset about the trip. We came to the ferry and boat brought us to another place where stay 3 boats . Than we change boat and a guy just give us that special mask for snorkeling and tell: ok go… but our boat was staying between 2 other boats so how I should go I didn’t understand. After we sitting and don’t understand anything for 10-15 min other boats left than we decided to go inside water. There was no fish !!!!!!!!! Maybe maximum 5 fishes!!!!!! We saw more in the hotel.than fishing: they didn’t teach us anything didn’t explain anything we just stop they gave us something as thing for fishing and just went to sleep. Than after one hour when one chinese girl almost start to vomiting we went to dirty dirty and over dirty long set beach for sunset. And we arrived there around 3:30-4! So should wait for sunset 2 hours!!!!! When we ask to put at least music they said: captain want to sleep… And beach was over dirty!!!! Than they start to cook some food gave some drinks, we watch sunset was beautiful ( because thanks God they can’t spoil sunset) and then we went to watch plankton. I was so exited about that and than they stop us on the middle of the nowhere and don’t tell anything. Where is plankton? Full moon no have plankton… how we know it? Why we still stay in that place 30 mint. I would like to know answers for all this questions but nobody gave me it… so was the worst time from 1:30pm to 7:30pm. If don’t Wang to spoil u day never go there!!!!

AAlex BoteroMy husband and I really enjoyed our time at Sara Resort. The room was clean and had all the amenities one would need. The pool area was wonderful and we got to spend time relaxing, contemplating and reading. Having the beach within a few steps was great. I loved being able to go for an early morning swim. The staff were friendly and attentive. The resort also had entertainment some of the evenings. My favorite aspect was being able to slow down and relax in a comfortable and chilled environment. Thank you Sara Resort and staff for a wonderful experience.

GGuest UserA serene setting adorned our seaside villa & balcony atop, sea water lapping beneath. Villa 126 with vogue decor & a wraparound view to match was as perfect as the abundant sea life that exists below with crabs scurrying about doing their business a the sight of magnificent tropical fish of many colours including a school of Angelfish & an array of ever colourful coral spanned Pearl Resorts entire coastal boardwalk. Sheer delight! The highlight being the view beneath the waters surface in a CLEAR KAYAK at 6:30am the silent serene glass like sea water enabled a mesmerising view; an array of intricate coloured corals with hundreds of fish weaving through its channels, unbelievable in our now ever changing climate BUT it was real! Can't fault this resort from the time we arrived to its end the facilities and activities & to the hospitality staff incl. the managers to the service staff were all outstanding & waterside beauty & body treatments with Jenny it’s well & truely beyond a 5 star resort. Exquisite food of perfect presentation & perfectly cooked seafood al dente’ pasta & rice a foodies delight even the breakfast lobster fried rice was sensational. Their chefs I’d rate as Michelin Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gordon Ramsay you really need to sample here! ~LOVE LOVE LOVE PEARL RESORT~IT’S TOP ON OUR LIST~ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ K&B

TTatiana HappyThe New Year was celebrated, the staff were great young people, arranged windworks, dances at Kostrov, launching lanterns into the sky, disco. All good, nice and careless. Breakfasts are delicious, only before you have to come, the food is closed, but you can ask. They were included in the accommodation, although there was no booking of this information! Restaurant: Everything is delicious! Service: Forgot to clean our room, but we reminded ;) Service: High rating deserves Nung Sammang, organized dinner on the beach, food to the child, solved any questions during the stay! Thank you ❤️ The sea is chic, the entrance of the logos. A staff is brought to the hotel or a little further, where the staff are brought to the hotel. I recommend if you are not bored 😀

LlianaWhat a marvelous and serene place! We really enjoyed the holidays there. Tube's staff was so helpful and nice, they did everything to make guests happy. The sea is like from the Maldives pictures. The houses are comfortable and well-designed, there is some terrace in front of each house to sit there and have rest. Loved it. Breakfasts were absolutely amazing, so much fruit, vegetables, meat and eggs, soup. I'd like to thank the owner and staff for the enjoyable time on the island.

LLetitia TravelsOh my hat! It was everything and more than what I expected! The pictures really doesn't do it any justice. I woke up every morning at 6:30 to see the most beautiful sunrise! (You also have an option to join a Yoga group). After sunrise you can have an early breakfast right on the beach with a yummy fruitshake (smoothie). And then... You chill, absorb the beauty of the palm tree beach and catch up on your well needed tan. You also have an option to go on a sunset boat trip, where they take you to coral Island for a lovely snorkeling experience. After that we did some hand-fishing, and whatever we caught they BBQ'd for us straight on the grill while watching the sunset in the background! An absolutely lovely experience! The owner of the place were super nice, making sure that you are happy in every way. The staff were quirky and polite, what more can I say... Definitely a stay to remember and even to go back to!

NnoxniaWas a great experience from check-in to check-out. The staff were friendly and welcoming during my stay. The view of bay from the room was amazing. The swimming pool, etc. were well prepared. Air staff were polite and friendly. I was very satisfied with everything, including the location, the view, and furniture in rooms. Staying in your hotel was so inspiring, it was very pleasured, very well presented, with amazing pool. I have experienced so much from the hospitality provided by your staffs that assisted me during my stay. I have already recommend my friends or my relatives to chose your service in their future visit in Sihanoukville and I myself do hope to chose you again in the nearly future, warmly regards.

YYuriy B.I can't call this place cozy, just like the city of Sihanoukville itself. Perhaps the hotel (or rather apartments, due to the complete lack of service) is quite consistent with the ghost town itself. Having looked at the pictures on the site, I imagined that I would check into a spacious room, but it turned out to be a small box of 4x4 meters, with a separate bathroom. However, I can't say that this was not enough for a single traveler. Having received the keys, you find yourself at your own disposal, no one else is interested in your life, there are no breakfasts, you can drop the keys off when leaving. During the entire time, I did not see a single other resident, apparently our paths somehow diverged. You need to take a tuku-tuk to the beaches, there is practically no other way, however, if you want to visit the beach at the top of the city (Wat Leu Pagoda), then the location is only a plus - but look around, and beware of stray dogs. The nearest 7-Eleven is about 15 minutes' walk away, and the city's main market is also there. There is a supermarket nearby where you can buy souvenirs. However, if your goal is a beach holiday, then forget about this place. Fortunately, my goal was to take pictures of this unfortunate city and quickly leave for Bangkok. The mattresses are cheap - synthetic and soft, it is uncomfortable to sleep on them, definitely the worst sleeping place during my entire stay in Cambodia. On the plus side - a normal shower with a running water heater, and the coolest wi-fi in the country. There is also a laundry room on the top floor (supposedly free, I haven't checked), and an excellent observation deck over the city and the surrounding slums. I can't definitely recommend this place. It is gloomy, uncomfortable and cramped. If you want to finish off your impressions of the semi-slum city of Sihanoukville with new impressions, then settle here. Especially if the cost of living is decisive for you. But sometimes it’s better to overpay and settle somewhere closer to the sea.

SSzilviWe received first a very bad room, it was small and smelly. The room hadn't got even a floor, only beton... We went to the reception and asked for a normal room, the guy at the reception didn't wonder about the our complains. We received a room which was better, but it was some out of order room (no room number and no amenities). During our 5 nights stay the room was not properly cleaned or the bedsheet changed. The swimming pool was dirty, so we didn't use it. The breakfast and dinner was good and tasty. It is definitely not 4 star hotel, max. 3 star.
