We chose this hotel for its breakfast and the on-site bar-restaurant. What we got was a pretty old hotel. The bar wasn't open, and it was hard to find decent places to eat nearby. Breakfast was brought to the room, and we had to choose our meal and coffee type from a menu daily. However, they consistently forgot the coffee, so we had to remind them every day and wait 10-15 minutes after the rest of breakfast arrived. Out of 4 days, breakfast was only delivered 3 times; one day, they simply said the chef hadn't shown up. They promised a refund for one day's breakfast, but it never came. The room was very cold in December; the air conditioning was old and noisy. The shower drain was clogged, and by the second day, there was a sewage smell. On the plus side, the linens were clean, towels fresh, and slippers were provided. They offered to move us to an โupgradedโ room, which we checked out โ it was indeed spacious, looked newer, and was more pleasant. However, the next morning, we were told that room wasn't available and were given a different one, which wasn't much better than our original room. Overall, everything felt disorganized and chaotic. Communication on WhatsApp was very polite, though. Getting to the city center is a long journey, and you spend a lot of time in traffic if you take a taxi. We haven't stayed at other hotels in the city, so we have nothing to compare it to. This hotel might be okay for a couple of days. All in all, not terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement.
The second time I came to Bishkek, I stayed at the Sofia Chinese Hotel. I stayed here when I came last summer. It was good in all aspects.
๐The hotel is quite new, the single bed is quite spacious, and the bedding is comfortable, so I slept very well. The service is very good. It doesnโt matter if you donโt know Russian. The hotel has Chinese staff who know Mandarin. Of course, you can also use the translation to communicate with the local waiters.
๐There is free mineral water, tea and coffee. There is a restaurant downstairs. It is not far from the city center and it is very convenient to go everywhere.
Pros:
- Good location close to the city center.
- Quite modern architecture and interior.
- Not bad breakfast.
Cons:
- Our rooms were not ready when we arrived around 18:00. At our request, we received welcome drinks as compensation.
- Although we asked for two rooms on the side of the hotel opposite the road, one of our rooms still faced the road.
- Even with the windows closed, the road could be heard at night (7th floor). This worsened our sleep.
- Two types of pillows. One of the pillows was really uncomfortable.
- The air conditioners in both rooms did not work, the remote displays showed an error.
- Quite weak water pressure in the showers.
- The girl at the reception could not give us any documents when we checked out.
As a result, the hotel, in our opinion, does not correspond to the level of 5 stars. Its level is 4 stars.
Very close to the city center, there is a very good cafe opposite. The hotel environment is also good, very clean, there is no noise at night, and the room is very large, the price is still quite high, their breakfast I think is good, basically enough to eat acid, not look so much
Amazing view, safe and secure and wonderful guest service. Breakfast needs more variety, but overall it was enjoyable and pleasant. I will be staying B Hotel again and recommend it for anyone in Bishkek short term

Best hotel in Bishkek. If youโd wish to have a nice and quiet weekend, definitely choose Hyatt! We enjoyed spa, great service room and the vibe of the hotel. Also, I would like to highlight receptionist Dastan and Ruslan for making our stay easier and more comfortable. If we needed anything, they were delighted to help in any situation! 100% recommendation!!!
