This is like an apartment of other Hotel, there is no reception on this hotel. You have to get everything from the other hotel next to it. this is Swiss Wooden Hotel, so simple and nice. It is not like hotel in the city. My room is big enough for 3. Just have a small table to eat but we mange it. Shower is ok but it is too tall for my mom (she is 5ft 4 ) to climb in. She is old so she needs to sit 1st and climb in. there is left but still need to walk a bit stair with your luggage......... You can ask the reception in the other hotel for hot water, hair dryer.

This hotel is absolutely amazing! It's the best B&B we've ever stayed in! The room is spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean. The windows on both sides offer views of the hotel garden and mountains, and the neighboring garden. My room's balcony faced the Matterhorn, allowing me to take photos of the golden sun setting over the mountain. The staff are warm and friendly, and they offer train station pickup. The toiletries are L'Occitane, and the little touches like the complimentary chocolates in the room and the complimentary fruit snacks in the lobby are heartwarming!

The location was excellent, just near Zermatt Bahnhof and easily accessible from most places. The room came with a balcony overlooking the mountains, offering a stunning view — we even watched black neck sheep while enjoying our dinner and coffee. The stay was comfortable overall, though note that no amenities like toothbrushes or shavers were provided. Breakfast offered a decent spread of continental options with limited hot food, but the croissants were especially commendable.

The hotel boasts an excellent location and a unique, tasteful decor with wooden elements throughout, which I really loved. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, changing daily. You can even see the Matterhorn from the balcony, though my view from the second floor was unfortunately somewhat limited. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although the single rooms are a bit on the smaller side. It's very convenient for the train station and exploring the town, with a Coop supermarket, shops, and restaurants all conveniently located nearby. After a 2-night stay, it was overall a very pleasant experience!

The room size is enough to put two large luggage, there is no refrigerator, the branch drink has to pay at the counter CHF2, there are not many types of breakfast, but it is very close to the train station, the train station to the hotel is up the slope, about ten minutes.

Hotel manager service is very good. Breakfast is also very good, the service location that does not provide lunch or dinner is also convenient, there is an underground parking garage.

Hands down, this was one of my absolute favorite places during my trip to Switzerland. Highly recommend if you're visiting Zermatt! Definitely make sure to book a room with a Matterhorn view. The breakfast was generally good, though it could have used a bit more fresh fruit. Plus, having a microwave and water dispenser in the basement was a great perk that helped us save money on bottled water.

It was relatively inexpensive compared to other accommodations in the city. I was very satisfied. The staff's service was warm, and the breakfast was great, with cheese tasting. The interior was also nice. The balcony of the guest room is shared with other rooms. Matterhorn is covered by trees, so you can't see it very well from the balcony. However, there is a nice view spot just a short walk from the hotel towards the mountain, which I liked. The sauna can be used from 4:00 p.m. In case of bad weather, it will be opened before 4:00 p.m. It is a place where you can do 90-degree self-loyly, and there is no cold bath, but towels are provided, one shower room, a rest area, a water dispenser, and a toilet in the area. There are no separate changing rooms or lockers for men and women. We each used the clothes rack in the room or the chairs in the rest area, leaving our belongings there. There didn't seem to be any particular rules about wearing swimsuits, and there were both men and women wearing swimsuits. The location is a little far from the main station (about 11 minutes), and if you go through Oberdorfstrasse as per Google Maps, there is a long cobblestone area on the way, so it is difficult to carry a suitcase. However, if you walk along the river (Bachstrasse), which may be a little longer, it is a flat road, so I think it will be a solution.

It was within walking distance from the station! It felt more like an apartment than a hotel. There was no front desk and check-in was done using a machine at the entrance. You get a reservation number by email in advance, enter it and pay the accommodation tax to enter, but it's a little difficult because they don't speak Japanese. There is a kitchen in the room and all the necessary dishes, pots, and microwaves, so you can eat in your room! The nearby supermarket closes around 8pm, so you might want to be careful! I was grateful that there was a vending machine in the hotel. The room was clean and there was a balcony and an ashtray so you could smoke outside. However, check-out was by 11am, but I was surprised when someone opened the door and came in at around 10:30am. They apologized and closed the door immediately, but I wonder if it was a cleaning staff member? It wasn't scary because we were a couple, but I think it would have been scary if I had been alone or if I was a woman.
