Arrived late at night, check-in was quick and easy, the room was clean, and got everything we needed. Kids love the swimming pool. Breakfast was good, staffs are very nice and helpful. A/C was loud, but our kids were able to sleep through it, so it was not a big issue. Overall, a friendly, simple accommodation , we were happy with our stay.
It was my first time in this city. The hotel is new and the service is good. The location is excellent, within walking distance to the lake, with many restaurants nearby and convenient transportation. It was a great experience.
The room was very clean, and the staff were warm, young, beautiful, attentive, and thoughtful. Just a heads-up, you'll need to bring your own toiletries.
The room is clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. The front desk supervisor, staff and floor cleaners are all warm and friendly, reflecting the high professional quality of the staff and showing the high-quality hotel brand image.
The Fairmont Chateau Laurier is an iconic landmark in Ottawa, offering a perfect blend of luxury, history, and charm. Guests can enjoy a guided tour of the hotel to uncover its rich heritage. Adding a unique touch to the experience is Stewart, the hotel's beloved canine ambassador. This friendly black Labrador retriever, once trained as a guide dog, now welcomes guests and has even inspired a children's book series titled ”Stewart: King of the Castle”.
The hotel features a beautiful indoor pool with a classic, historical ambiance, making it a serene retreat after a day of exploration. Its prime location places you steps away from Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal, and the bustling ByWard Market, with museums and other major attractions within easy walking distance. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, the Fairmont Chateau Laurier delivers an exceptional and memorable stay.
The hotel is clean, but the room is dark. The staff are not very friendly. There are few choices for breakfast. There is not enough hot water in the lobby. It is very convenient to be near the farmer's market.
This hotel was perfect for me.
They allowed me to check in late. Kevin who greeted me at reception was a delight and made me feel very welcome.
I only stayed one night (actually less than 12 hours due to my check in time) but the room was brilliant. The bed was so so comfy and the bathroom was huge. I really liked the shower had a sliding door meaning you could get in without getting soaked as the water warmed up.
It was also a great location for onward public transport to Toronto.
People might not be understanding why the hotel would limited the capacity to use their pool. Yes what I am trying to say? Before you head to the pool. You have to go to the front desk to get the access card enter the pool. Actually, I liked their idea. Not gonna crowded. So you can enjoy the time at pool.
This is a first time I stayed in this hotel. Over all my friend and I are satisfied. Their service and hospitality are professional and good. Whoever is reading my comment. Hope you have a good time to stay.
We decided to do a quick staycation with our 3 year old twins and this place was perfect! Big pool, spacious rooms with balconies and great Starbucks coffee served downstairs in the hotel store in the morning along with croissants, cinnamon buns, oatmeal, etc. All for extra cost but great to have that available!

Very Good
DDalihouSpacious room, great value for money during off-peak seasons. A king-size bed plus a sofa bed is more than enough for a family of three. The facilities are standard. Pet-friendly, close to Parliament Hill, and surrounded by many restaurants. Overall, a good experience.
GGuest UserThe room was clean. Have a hard time found out that the room has an iindependent wall mount air-condition. The room emperature control unit on the wall looks beautiful but has nothing to do with setting the room temperature. We were booking for two but the room has only one set of towel for bathing. We had to call room service to get the second set. Besides these small inconvenience the location is perfect for terminal C check in. Instead of taking hotel shuttle We were able to walk to the Delta checkin counter in 10 minutes.
GGuest UserI took my kids to the hotel for a treat to get together and right in my hallway at 4am we got woken up by yelling and screaming they did kick them out but I was nervous and to he woken up like that was not necessary and when I told the front desk people they just said o they left but still it was not enjoyable and to get nothing for compensation I paid my money to go have a good night and that was not a good time I thought they could of said o come back on us or give me half off the next room something would of been appreciated
AAnnie travellingBrilliant hotel in the heart of Toronto for our 1 night stay. We found cheaper parking on Spot hero. When we walked it there was a fun party in the bar area. Staff were friendly. Basic hotel with nice hip/ modern decor was perfect for what we needed it for.
DdavidWe enjoy the hotel and restaurant. The rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious. The people working there make you feel comfortable and provide the best service I have ever seen. I would like to give special mention to Edward who works at the dining room. This is our favorite place to eat. The food is excellent as well as the service. We have made this hotel our stop place when we need to visit the city.
BBijinThe hotel is very close to the airport. It is not half an hour. It is about 60 knives. The hotel is very close to the city. The environment is very good. The front desk service is also very good. It is close to the TD Bank supermarket. There is breakfast but there are not many varieties. I have not changed the taste for a few days. The price is not expensive. Will stay next time and recommend friends and relatives 👍
BBenjaminIt’s near the airport, and they know it. As a result, the parking fare is quite high. Overall, the stay was average. One should be wary, however, that although the breakfast is complimentary, they expected a tip, which is absolutely ridiculous. How can one call it complimentary under such expectations?
HHeqingyanThe location of the hotel is very good, the room is very clean and has a sense of design, I stayed in Andy's room for 3 days. The service is also very good. In the middle of the night, the waiter will bring you boiling water after a while. The fly in the ointment is that the old house's water outlet and drainage are not very good, and the water from the faucet is all white. The rooftop pool has a nice view but the water is a bit cold.
