We stayed three nights at the Paradox Hotel. The hotel's location is very central. It is within walking distance of the Harbourfront and many other nearby attractions and restaurants. It's a short Uber ride from Gastown and Stanley Park, and there's a farmers market within walking distance on Saturdays. We loved the hotel because the staff was friendly and it was easy to get around. Valet is CAD 50 per night and well worth it. There is also free bike and scooter rental at the hotel. The best part is that there is both an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub. The indoor pool area serves as a nightclub at night and a swimming pool in the morning. The room is spacious, clean, and meticulously maintained.

Had a great stay at the Sandman Hotel in downtown Vancouver! I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a room with a king-sized bed, which made the stay extra comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of downtown with easy access to shops, restaurants, and major attractions. It was super convenient to walk around and explore the city.
The staff were friendly, professional, and quick to help with any questions I had. The room was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
The only downside was the $25 per day charge for parking, which I wasn’t expecting. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re bringing a vehicle. That aside, everything else was smooth and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel with comfortable rooms and great service, the Sandman is definitely worth considering. I’d happily stay here again!
A very good medium-sized to large hotel. The architectural style of the entire hotel is typical Canadian national style, rough, heavy and grand. The room facilities are simple, and the hygiene and mattresses are neat and clean. The downside is that there is no kettle in the room. You have to go to the front desk to ask for it.
This is the most romantic cabin in a small forest I have ever lived in. I really like the black luxury interior decoration and all places are very careful. I especially like the modern kitchen, bathroom, and then the bedroom has a TV, and then the living room has a TV. The mirror is very beautiful.
Amazing stay – highly recommended!
This place was fantastic! Free parking with plenty of space, and the building is new, clean, and very comfortable. The room had a modern TV and even a Bluetooth speaker, which was a nice touch. There’s also a kitchen, so we could cook our own meals – super convenient.
Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the indoor pool. We didn’t try the water slide, but it looked like so much fun – perfect for kids!
If I ever visit Kelowna again, I’ll definitely stay here. Highly recommend!
It's very close to the airport the hotel is connected to the skytrain station, just 15mins train to there. But it's not close to the downtown area.
The hotel will give u $20 free play per guest for your stay, so basically free money to play in casino!! 🤣
They also did complimentary upgrade my room😍 Love this stay and it is a shame that they charged every guest for the resort fee even tho you dont use it. But still pretty good stay!!
This hotel is good in vie if cleanliness and friendly staff.
The bed is comfortable. The staff at reception counter is so nice and welcoming to offer different information to us including parking, dining and sightseeing.
The location is good, close to Parking lot 4, less than 5 minutes walk.
I would love to stay here again!
The town is amazing, the hotel was great and the staff were very friendly. We were glad because we were ill and had to sleep in most of the time. Thank you for the comfortable stay.
Downstairs is the commercial street of the resort, the busiest section. It only takes 2 minutes to get to Lululemon. It's only 3 minutes to the nearest cable car. So the location is great!
Parking costs 34 Canadian dollars a night. I looked outside and it was cheaper than the Marriott Hotel next door and even cheaper than the PayByPhone on the roadside. I heard from a book that you can't park on the roadside in the town because you have to clear the snow. I don't know whether it's true or not, but I didn't want to park my car outdoors because it was snowing, so I accepted it. As a result, I circled the parking lot of the wine list twice and couldn't find a parking space. I called the front desk, and the front desk said that maybe all the check-out people will leave at night, so there will be vacancies. But in fact, there was no such thing. When I went to get something from the car at night, I saw cars circling around looking for a space. I was forced to park in the Small Car space (my car is Sienna). Moreover, the parking lot is close to the elevator room, which is a garbage collection room. When you pass by, you will smell an extremely disgusting odor.
The M floor of the hotel elevator is the commercial street, which is very convenient. The passage next to the front desk in the lobby leads to a western restaurant. The food is good and the price is reasonable, but you may have to wait for a table during peak meal times.
The most unsatisfactory thing is that I found out that my daughter brought her own charger and forgot to take it after I left the hotel. So I told the hotel about the situation on the hotel website. But maybe no one on their official website cares about it, so no one ever contacted us. So we called directly to inform them, and the hotel left their contact information and said they would go and check. Two days later, they replied that the person who cleaned the room did not hand in the charger. I said, is it still plugged into the wall? They said they would go and check. Until a few days later, our friend checked into the hotel again and asked about this for us, they still said they would go and check. After 40 minutes, they told my friend that they didn't find it.
Frankly speaking, compared to the room rate, the charger can be said to be the money for a box of tissues inside. The hotel did not offer any compensation, so I thought they were honest and felt that there would be no compensation if it was not their fault. But in this communication process, we were really very dissatisfied! Their work attitude is completely unworthy of such a high room rate.
How to say it? ! Just like Hainan Island, no matter how bad the service is, you can't be blacklisted because of the unique natural resources. Maybe this is the nature of hotels in foreign countries. Let's just be normal.
Room was a like one bedroom apartment overlooking the water great bed and linens staff very helpful loved that we could bring our dog. Amazing location walking distance everything down town found a amazing store called beach chik loved the community best hotel in Osoyoos. Will stay again

GGuest UserAlthough the building is old, the room is very clean and bright, and the decoration is very tasteful. All kinds of sanitary products are available, and it feels like home! The most praiseworthy thing is the big bed, which is not only clean and tidy, but also gives you a ”weightless” feeling when sleeping on it! The hotel is located in the seaside harbor, surrounded by British shops and various restaurants and bars, giving people the illusion of going to Europe. In one word: Thumbs up!
SSequeiraVery friendly and helpful staffs, and got upgraded to a 2-bedrooms family suite. We were greeted everything we passed by the lobby. Walking distance to many nice restaurants and the decorations outside the hotel was amazing (esp the lights on the trees at night). Breakfast was top the top floor with a very nice view, however, limited seats available on the buffet area and need to walk some stair to an upper floor to find a seat.
TTeck AWe loved this place, very friendly and caring owner and manager who made sure we were taken care of before we moved in and after check out.
The condo is very strategically located in Vancouver, easy access to all areas by public transport or walking. Good view from the condo.
There is a very big oriental supermarket and Costco nearby. Great for grocery shopping; we had everything in the kitchen for home cooked meals too. Chinatown is within walking distance, plenty of food in the area from all international cuisines.
GGuest UserThe cleanness of the room was excellent. The room had a musty smell had to go out and purchase an air freshener to help absorb the smell. I asked if they had bbq was told yes. So we went out bought a steak only to find out it is a charcoal bbq and you had to supply your own. So it was a big disappointment and put a damper on our stay. The hotel is not close to city so heading out again was not an option.
If you want cleanliness it was 100%
PPlopeThe room was booked for my son and his family including a 10 months old baby. I have stayed in this hotel for many times and this time we were assigned to the 27th floor which the King one bedroom suite is much smaller than we used to stay. This was really out of our expectation since we have rented several baby products such as play pan, car seat etc and there are not enough space for us to settle them in the room.
33201457841The location is super close to the airport, and our Fijian driver for the pickup was incredibly friendly. We stayed in what felt like an ocean-view room, and it was very comfortable. Service was excellent too. They even kindly stored our luggage for two days when we took a trip to Victoria. The subway station is literally right outside the hotel, and just a few minutes' walk to the east, you'll find a ton of delicious Asia-Pacific restaurants and bubble tea shops. Honestly, I thought they were even better than most I've tried back home.
ZZhierxingzhiThe hotel has a history of more than 100 years! The location is very good, right outside the sea. If you like morning jogging, you can run along the Stanley Park Seaside Running Track, which is exactly 10 kilometers. There are many restaurants nearby, from all over the world! The room layout is also very good, with a separate room, which is very suitable for a family of 4-5 people.
GGuest UserThe place was warm, spacious, and incredibly welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness and comfort it offered. The availability of a parking spot was a great convenience, and after a long day, we had a restful and peaceful sleep. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserFriends who choose this five-star hotel should lock your credit card for cardless transactions, otherwise the hotel will randomly deduct money from time to time. Haha, I paid a deposit of 300 when I checked in, and on the night of check-in, they deducted more than 480 Canadian dollars without informing the customer at 4 am. When I checked out, the hotel manager told me that there was no fee to pay on the bill. As a result, when I arrived at the airport and received the bank information, the hotel deducted 13 Canadian dollars without authorization. I didn't lock the door for a few minutes, and they deducted money from me. It's really unbelievable.
