Divya Sutra is the best hotel deal in town as far as rates and amenities. You won't find anything cheaper. You do get a lot for what you pay. My stay was during the off season and I found an even better deal online so I went ahead with the booking and was glad I did. I was hesitant after reading some negative reviews but have found nothing to really complain about. My room was clean and there was no sign of bed bugs anywhere. Before I moved in they cleaned the carpet thoroughly. Although the furniture was a bit dated, the beds were comfortable and the TV was huge with lots of channels. One thing to be aware of however is that the location is right in the middle of town and there is occasional traffic noise that some may find annoying. I got used to it right away and it honestly was not bad at all and my room was just a few floors up. The staff here are very friendly and very accommodating. There are two ice machines and two filtered water stations in the lobby which is awesome and it also looks like they are going to put a fancy coffee machine in the lobby as well. There's a sauna, hot tub, and pool and changing room and shower. The bar and grill is still closed which was a bit disappointing but there are many restaurants nearby. Overall, definitely a great place for both short and long stays.

Absolutely stunning view. Cabin was older but very charming, we made the most of the fireplace in the room and enjoyed a view of the lake from our balcony. Bathroom was clean with everything we needed. Coffee also provided in the room which was nice. I read the beds were uncomfortable on other reviews and I’d partially agree - not the best but again not the main reason or expectation for visiting emerald lake. I will say the pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable.  Staff were very friendly and attentive. Shuttle service was easy. Restaurant was pricey but overall good. No wifi or signal in the room is something to be aware of, but heightened the experience in my opinion. Overall, great!

It’s my first Best western in few decades. Pleasantly surprised by the modernity and cleanliness. Room is comfortable and compact with all the basic touches and a good layout. The free breakfast was a nice touch. Location is perfect for one night stay to get in and out from the highway.

I’d recommend this hotel if you have business or errands near the airport. The hotel is very clean, and the shuttle service is convenient and well organized, which makes getting around easy. It’s also quiet, so it’s a good place to rest. That said, I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast — the options are quite limited and not worth it.

Black Rock Oceanfront is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Canada, It is upscale and luxurious. It is located within walking distance of the Trans Pacific hiking trail and the Lighthouse. It has a heated outdoor pool.and a hot tub overlooking the ocean, as well as a fitness room. There are two oceanfront restaurants. They offer the same menu. One is more formal while the other has a casual bar-like feel. The food is very good although pricey, like most places in Ucluelet and Tofino. Our room at the lodge was large. It had a spectacular view of Big Beach and the ocean from the balcony, which was large enough for more than 2 people to sit at. However, you could see and hear your neighbours enjoying their balconies too. There was a large, ultra-modern bathroom with a separate rainfall shower. There was also a 2-person bathtub located next to a covered glass window. If you uncover that window during daylight, you could see the ocean across the room and balcony. I prefer Ucluelet because it's quieter than Tofino, and would definitely stay at Black Rock Oceanfront again in a heartbeat.

My husband booked a two night stay at Painter's lodge for my birthday. Apparently the lodge is under new management and just opened 2 days before our stay. This lodge must have been quite the hotel in its day. It needs a lot of work and with love and care I think it will reach its original beauty. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and bar were not up and running but we were offered a continental breakfast of yogurt, fruit, granola bars and juice. The location was perfect and the decor was lovely. It felt like time had been turned back to a wonderful era. Lots of history displayed on the walls. We had a wonderful stay.

It’s a beautiful hotel and is located at Downtown. The area is safe and is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and cafe. The room is spacious but the bathroom is with aglass door which means there is lower privacy. The apples they offer at the reception are very tasty!

Very very pleasant stay. We used it for an overnight 14h layover before continuing our trip - location is unbeatable, 1 min walk from check in areas - staff was all around very friendly - high quality (even though a bit old), but very well maintained and also high quality bathroom equipment (soaps, cremes etc). - beds were extremely comfortable - breakfast is à la carte with views of the airplanes / terminals - gym is small but all you need is there

We were impressed by the spacious and artistry designed suite. Proper kitchenware and laundry room. You need to bring your own detergent or purchase downstairs the lobby. The entire suite has very good lighting for make up, especially the bathroom sink area. There is a gas operated BBQ outside the patio, but we didn’t use it during the winter. Location is good, 1 min to the gas station & supermarket, 10 mins to Radium Hot Spring. There are indoor swimming pool & hot tub, and one outdoor swimming pool. Unfortunately, the pool table can be accessed only if you rent the entire board room for a fee. We love to come back next time probably in the summer, to explore more the hotel amenities and the golf course.

JJanineLBWe visited the hotel for our Duex Days event and overall had a pleasant experience. The valet parking was smooth and professional, and the hotel staff were generally polite and courteous. However, one aspect could be improved: flexibility at check-in. I was running a bit late, so my husband, who shares the same last name and was on the reservation, tried to check in ahead of me. Despite offering to send a photo of my ID and confirming the reservation details, the front desk staff insisted that I had to be there in person. I understand the importance of security, but a bit more flexibility or alternative verification methods would have made the process more convenient and guest-friendly. Aside from that, our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the service and atmosphere overall.

DDouble O mamaWe wrapped up spring break with a super chill three-day, two-night stay at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, and it was exactly what our family of four needed. The rooms were awesome—super comfy, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The view of the mountains? Absolutely stunning. It made lounging around way more enjoyable. The outdoor heated pool and hot tubs were a hit with all of us, and the kids especially loved the marshmallow roasting session held daily from 4–6 pm. It was such a fun and cozy family activity! The ping-pong facilities were also a big favorite, though they seemed to be in high demand. Breakfast was a highlight, too—the buffet had an amazing variety of options, and we were pleasantly surprised to find BC caviar as part of the offerings that day. A unique and delicious treat! The only downside was the playroom—it’s a bit small, especially during busy times like spring break or summer. It felt a little limited for all the kids hoping to use it. That said, the staff nailed it. They were super friendly and helpful, adding little touches to make our stay extra special. Four Seasons Whistler definitely delivered. We left feeling recharged and already talking about when we can come back!

BBorish Do.I had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, and I especially want to highlight the reception team. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. Check-in was smooth, they took the time to explain everything clearly, and they genuinely made me feel valued as a guest. Their kindness and helpful attitude really set the tone for my stay and made a big difference. The hotel itself is comfortable, well-located, and well-maintained, but the excellent reception service truly stood out. Thank you to the reception team for such great hospitality — I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others. 😊

IIris.LuTransportation: Very convenient to take the shuttle bus from L3 Gate 16 at the airport. The hotel is a three-minute walk from the SkyTrain station. Cleanliness: Very clean, much cleaner than a certain [competitor hotel chain] and no strange odors. Environment: Compared to the [competitor hotel chain] we stayed at the next day, the Westin was much quieter. Recreation: The pool and gym were not crowded. The water was quite cold in winter, but you could use the spa. Dining: We had brunch at the ground floor restaurant at 11:00 AM. I recommend the chicken burger and the cheese burger from the kids' menu. Service: A kind gentleman at the front desk who spoke Chinese helped us with a one-hour late checkout. After checking out, I realized I left my electric toothbrush in the room. The lady at the front desk said she would keep it safe for me until I return to Vancouver in two months, which I really appreciated.

ZZhierxingzhiThe hotel has a history of more than 100 years! The location is very good, right outside the sea. If you like morning jogging, you can run along the Stanley Park Seaside Running Track, which is exactly 10 kilometers. There are many restaurants nearby, from all over the world! The room layout is also very good, with a separate room, which is very suitable for a family of 4-5 people.

GGuest UserThe cleanness of the room was excellent. The room had a musty smell had to go out and purchase an air freshener to help absorb the smell. I asked if they had bbq was told yes. So we went out bought a steak only to find out it is a charcoal bbq and you had to supply your own. So it was a big disappointment and put a damper on our stay. The hotel is not close to city so heading out again was not an option. If you want cleanliness it was 100%

PPlopeThe room was booked for my son and his family including a 10 months old baby. I have stayed in this hotel for many times and this time we were assigned to the 27th floor which the King one bedroom suite is much smaller than we used to stay. This was really out of our expectation since we have rented several baby products such as play pan, car seat etc and there are not enough space for us to settle them in the room.

JJess CollinsOverall good. Very basic motel, but it is clean and comfortable. No real extras or amenities- there was coffee in the lobby when we checked out early in the morning. The heating unit could use an update- it was either on or off, too hot or too cold - difficult to get to an nice comfortable temp, but it worked.
