Stayed here for 2N as we were visiting the Tateyama Alpine route. Was clean, modern and rooms were quite spacious! We liked that toilets had both a shower and tub, also gave us kids amenity bag. Very near the Toyama station, just a 3min walk. Opposite was a mall and you could go there for meals and shopping. Staff were all friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much.
The hotel is relatively new, with on site parking. It is located at the top few floors of a business building. There no hotel reception on the ground floor only a phone and the entrance is hard to find if you are driving and it’s at the back of the building. The window shows you the major railway system of Nagoya as JR Nagoya station is just next stop and visible from the window. So a must for train lovers.
The staff at the hotel is helpful but their English is minimal but for sure they are polite and cordial. There’s always staff cleaning in the other room when I go in and out of the hotel, but they somehow managed to not bother me and find the right time to clean my room.
There is no other facility such as swimming pool, onsen or washing machines in the hotel. There’s a large family mart on ground floor and a few restaurants in the complex but we are always out during the day and didn’t have a choice to enjoy them.
The hotel breakfast is delicious and the choices are ample. It also has the skyline view of Nagoya.
Overall I would recommend this hotel if you want a little piece and quiet when you travel. And you might need to walk extra or take 1 more stop in the Metro to go back to hotel.
It’s an excellent hotel but I think more suitable for adults.
The Kurobe Hotel, located in the innermost part of the Unazuki Onsen town, was a historic and very quaint inn. There were some parts that felt old, such as the key to the room, but that would also be the taste of the inn. Also, the meals and baths were luxurious and I felt very extraordinary.
The hotel is brand new, clean, comfortable, and boasts a modern, minimalist design. The rooms are spacious, and I particularly appreciated the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. The self-service amenities in the lobby were incredibly convenient; besides regular toiletries, they also offered drip coffee bags and tea bags. The hotel is very close to Toyama Station, with a convenience store right downstairs. A highly-rated sushi restaurant is just a 5-minute walk away, and there's also a fantastic local bakery nearby. Toyama is a charming little city full of pleasant surprises, and Daiwa Roynet Hotels has always been one of my favorite hotel chains.
A standard Japanese hot spring hotel with weakly alkaline water. The room I booked online was 60 square meters, which was not the actual room. I could see the canyon from one corner of the room. It was probably fully booked due to the short holiday. Breakfast and dinner were buffets, with local specialties mainly Japanese and Western food.
The hotel is super close to the JR station; you can spot it right as you exit. It's situated on the fifth floor of a shopping mall. To access the guest room floors, you need your key card, which provides a good sense of privacy. The hotel also offers a communal bath and a complimentary coffee lounge. Our room was very spacious, and facing the JR station side, we had a lovely view of Mount Tateyama – a real plus! The overall location is fantastic, making it incredibly convenient for exploring both nearby areas and city attractions. The airport shuttle stop is also right next to the hotel. Definitely highly recommended!
The location of the hotel is very good, just a 2-minute walk from the station and the corridor. The pictures of the hotel are average, but the actual hotel appearance and the leisure reception area next to the front desk are both good. Check-in is also in the afternoon, but luggage can be stored for free. If you don't need to clean the room during your stay, the hotel will provide you with water. There is a large bathing area on the third floor for soaking.
The space in front of the bed in the room is spacious and convenient for activities. What I am not very satisfied with is that there is no quilt cover, but only a bed sheet under the quilt, which does not feel very comfortable when sleeping.
It's an old hotel. But location still within 7-8 mins walk from JR Toyama Station. Infront Hotel have the City Tram station.
Hotel corridor was low and lighting was very dim.
Room are justifiable for single room.
The only problem was the bed mattress are too soft, when u sit on the bed, u can feel the mattress immediately pressed till the spring bottom of the mattress haha.
Hotel do provide refreshment machine for coffee (with bean blending) and soft drink at the ground floor.
Didn't expect my stay are come with the breakfast, unfortunately I only can enjoy 2 days among 4 days stay, due to headed out before the breakfast serving.
The breakfast have local Japanese n western variety too, located high floor with good view.
The hotel is conveniently located just across the road from Toyama Station's South Exit, making it easy to access buses, JR lines, and trams. You can ask the hotel for free transport tickets. There are also plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. Staff are on hand to assist with self-service check-in and check-out. The hotel staff are very friendly, always greeting guests. My room was on the 18th floor, and a corner of the hallway offered a nice view of Toyama Castle. Although the room wasn't huge, the cleanliness and quality were what you'd expect from a chain hotel. Toiletries and skincare products are available in front of the elevators on the 1st floor. The complimentary buffet breakfast offers a decent variety and is quite filling.
The hotel is just 2 mins walk from Toyama station. Across it is a shopping mall. Very convenient!
Hotel has free bike to rent, easy to cycle around the place. Hotel breakfast is really good, an infusion of japanese with other cultures. And most affordable.
Room amenities are basic but sufficient.
The only thing I don't like is the bed. Gives me backache. There is only one thin pillow.
Otherwise all good.

First, the rooms are clean, big, surrounded by nature, greenery, and a beautiful lake that you can observe for a perfect morning scenery. Secondly, the facilities are top notch! Everything is clean! All facilities are provided to you with great quality; clean floors, perfect white clean towels, the hot spring water is clean, the pools are clean, the shampoo and body wash liquids smell amazing! (Like the baby colon your mother would give you as a child with the blue rounded top!) AMAZING! However, I had a very special interaction with one of the staff who deserves a medal for being so responsible and ensuring that her guest was in good hands.
Unfortunately, I got sick one morning while I was checking out. I was having an anxiety / panic attack that made me really disoriented. I didn't feel safe driving afterwards and I requested for the ambulance to be called. The kind and beautiful lady at the front desk handled all my paperwork, and ensured clear communication between doctors and nurses. After getting a physical check at the hospital for 2 hours, the results came back fine. There was no problem at all, however, the lady from the hotel staff was still there to see me out and ensure that I was safe and ok to drive. She was amazing! Thank you a million times for providing a fantastic place to stay, but also for taking great care of me!
( I don't have any pictures of the hotel because pictures aren't allowed to be taken within the hot springs, but trust me when I say, everything looks just as it is in the pictures. ) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

GGuest UserThe service was excellent, and the location was very convenient for getting around. However, I did find two drawbacks. Firstly, the parking isn't located directly on-site; you have to drive a short distance to it, and the parking fee was quite expensive. Secondly, the twin room felt a bit small.
许许A 20-minute drive away from Shirakawa-go, the hotel facilities and services are okay, that is, there is no separate toilet in the room, only public toilets, there is a small hot spring bath, breakfast is very rich, and there is a Gassho in the opposite house.

SSean YW LinSmall but very clean room, very easy access to public parking. Onsen bath is good considered the small size of hotel. Free noodle and ice popsicles are a plus - especially when you struggle to find a restaurant coming back late from Tateyama. Charge money for disposing excessive trash and room markup
TTianzeAwesome hotel, I didn’t see a high rating when I booked Ctrip. I have been hesitating to make a reservation. However, the B&B in Baichuan Township is a wooden house structure that is too old. I chose this hotel. The hot springs are superb and the rooms are clean and looks like It didn't take long for the decoration, everything was very new, and I will definitely visit again in Shirakawa Township next time.
