The front desk was super nice and helpful for heating up the food for us even it wasn’t his job. The view from the room was amazing and I like the shampoo they provided! Totally enjoyed during the stay
The hotel is decorated in a very stylish way. The rooms are not very big, but the hygiene is good and basically sufficient. It is close to the beach and you can walk around. The sound insulation is relatively average.
This hotel in Vic has a very good location, near the black sand beach. We chased the northern lights that night. However, this hotel does not provide breakfast, but there is a public kitchen where you can cook your own meals.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. The location was perfect—convenience.I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet with beautiful views.
The room was not so good as we expected, being sparsely decorated. The interior outside rooms looked a bit cheap, contrary to its intention. However, breakfast was really nice. There was a wide variety of dishes and Icelandic choices. We saw northern lights near the hotels.
The room is spacious and comfortable, with a simple yet warm design. Opening the window, I was greeted by the magnificent Icelandic mountain scenery. The morning mist and sunlight intertwined, creating a scene from a painting. At night, the silence was complete, with the sound of the wind and the whisper of a distant waterfall. Every moment was a perfect opportunity to completely relax, immerse in the purest tranquility and beauty of nature, and truly escape from the hustle and bustle of life.
This is the best hotel in the whole Iceland trip. Reception is super friendly and helpful. All corners are new and clean. Restaurant provides nice food at reasonable price. Free hot tub and sauna facing the glacier. I am just unlucky that the weather was so bad that I cannot really enjoy the view. Breakfast is a must add item as it is so worthwhile. It’s a perfect location if you visit the glacier tour or visit Jökulsárlón.
Service is very good, breakfast is delicious, but remind not to open the window! Don't believe that there are no mosquitoes in Iceland. I met the largest mosquitoes in my life and flew into the room. I didn't sleep well all night and was bitten all night.
Stay here, drive for a while in the morning, and you can see Gullfoss Falls, which is very relaxing. The hotel has a restaurant and bar where you can have a drink in the evening. My husband brought the mutton rice and the staff was very nice. This is private. It's quite nice to sit in a warm hut and watch the snow falling outside.
Full marks for Ctrip’s service and full marks for Magama Hotel’s scenery, but you can’t add an extra bed to your child, nor can you pay extra. The hotel uses solar hot water for bathing, and the floor heating and hot water in each room rely on a separate hot water machine, so After the big one and the little one finished taking a bath, I could only take a cold shower. Why is this important factor not written in the hotel introduction? Hot water for bathing is in limited supply!

JJanet Love lifeThe hotel facilities are very creative. We had exactly 6 people occupying the whole room with bunk beds. It felt very novel. The restaurant next to it needs to be reserved in advance.
The hot spring bathing area on the balcony on the second floor is small and cute. I will visit again next time👍🏻
GGuest UserThe room is too small, just like domestic express hotels, or even worse, it seems that there are many tour groups. But I think the hygiene is OK. The surrounding environment is not bad, in a wilderness, the scenery is still beautiful, but the wilderness in Iceland is good, it is beautiful when there is sunshine. In addition, I think the breakfast is OK (a bit unexpected). I admire Iceland's environmental awareness. In such a remote place early in the morning, the garbage truck came.
CCathy u. FamilyNice hotel in a good location. Very friendly landlord, nice room for 3 people, a bit small (but enough for 2 nights). Very good breakfast. We didn't try the hot tub. Comfortable lobby to stay in.
The hallways are lovingly decorated with pictures and information about sights.
OOlgaWe stayed in this cabin for a one night and were very impressed by how comfortable and well equipped it was. The kitchenette had a microwave and a kettle to prepare simple meals, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The floor heating created a cozy atmosphere, especially in the mornings. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the sea, where the fresh air and views are breathtaking. One of the highlights was the many sheep grazing nearby, which gave the area a peaceful, countryside charm. It’s an ideal place to relax and recharge, highly recommended!
No WiFi in the cabin available but in the lounge in the building nearby
LLivoryGreat place as a rest stop near kirkjubaer. We used Hotel Laki is a base for 3D2N. Nice view from room, service staff spoke english very well. Breakfast was basic and sufficient, eggs, vegetables, cold cuts and cereal with various sauces. Bread toasting station. Id say the machine coffee (espresso based) was one of the best machine made ones we had in Iceland. Nice view from restaurant and bar as well. My room was missed for cleaning but its fine not much had to be done anyway. Plenty of room and bathroom space. Welcomed by a lovely border collie in the compound. Bar opens late till 11
FFabian YipThe place gave off a very country club kind of vibe, the room was well decorated, enough space to open 2 large luggages and still have some space to walk.
The bed was comfortable for the night’s rest too and the breakfast though not many options but all were delicious👍🏼
The nearest town from this accommodation was a 10-15mins drive, hence the location had a high score.
This will be my to go to accommodation when I visit Iceland again!
GGuest UserThe hotel was in a good location, and breakfast was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we booked this place to use the hot tubs and when we arrived they weren’t filled. I called reception twice to have someone check out the issue but nobody ever came. It was really unfortunate since we had gotten caught in the wind and rain so our bones felt frozen. I decided to have a bath instead but the tub couldn’t hold water haha it was a series of unfortunate events.
GGuest UserI checked in with my friend at 7:30 in the evening. I didn't find the front desk. I was in contact with Ctrip. The processing speed was very fast. I quickly contacted the store, but we were surprised that the store was in the distance. Seeing us, like two fools standing next to the cabin outside the 500M, it was raining, blowing the wind, did not want to come over and tell us where to check in, personally feel that the service is general, only when selling breakfast A little warm. The front desk gave the nearest cabin, but the luggage was really exhausted. It took about three minutes to get out of the parking lot. However, the house was on a hillside and the luggage was not tiring. The cabin is good, the heating is also very good, but the bathroom sewer is a bit stinky, and the bathroom has to be closed to sleep at night, but when the door is opened in the morning, the taste is very smoked. I want to ride a horse, but I don't have time, so I give up. In general, I feel that I feel good.
MM227358****Very clean and big, nice view outside the room, reasonable price. It's a bit troublesome to contact by phone before check-in, but everything is perfect except the first time
