Undeniably, the location of the hotel is perfect as it is very close to the Cardiff Castle and the city center, only few minutes to there. The hotel also provides carpark with a reasonable charges. The staff is friendly, except that when we requested 2 more pillows, the staff questioned us why we did not take the spare pillows in the wardrobe where he didn't realize that those pillows were taken by his colleague who took them to set up 2 sofa beds for us. We explained this to him but it appeared to me that he was very impatient and impolite and cut the line. At last, of course the staff did not follow up. Same as other advise, the hotel really needs renovation as the decoration and fittings are old and outdated.

Overall, it was a good experience. The reception staff was a bit rude. Room service was not satisfactory. It was overpriced. The AC was not working, and there was no ventilation.

More than amazing , A really nice place with a good location, the service was excellent too especially the kind man “callum “ he was always ready on call “ i think he’s got a blink ability or smth :)) thank you very much for the hospitality and hope to see you again soon. Positives: Receptionist on the desk was nice and polite. The room itself was large, had a kettle with coffee etc, iron and ironing board, shampoo and body wash, comfy large bed. Negatives: the hotel was so loud not from other rooms but from outside, I did ask for a quiet room. But was woken again at 4am with the sound of bass that carried on until 5am! Should have guessed it was going to be noisy when the receptionist mentioned they could provide ear plugs if needed! The receptionist did say if it was too loud we could move but it wasn’t at 3pm. And there was no point in moving at 2am when we heard the outside noise. If I could guarantee a room that was definitely quiet I would stay again.

I stayed here for one night for a brief business trip to Cardiff. Its location is amazing right next to the main train station.  this made it very very convenient to travel in from London and check in within minutes. The room was comfortable and the shower and bathroom were great. The breakfast was also quite impressive considering the hotel isn’t very expensive.

There’s a receptionist who was very nice, she helped us with our luggage before we checked in and even after we checked out. She’s very friendly and also professional! About the room, it’s good overall with the price. Everything was totally fine to stay there for a short trip!

I stayed at the Hilton Hotel this weekend and had a good experience. The hotel was very clean, the location was excellent—everything you need is nearby—and the staff were very friendly and lovely. I highly recommend it!☺️👍

2nd time staying there. In an Executive Suite. Amazing! Hotel lobby and staff fantastic! Room well equipped, clean and very comfy bed. Executive lounge 10/10 . Would defently stay there for a 3rd time!

Staff were amazing!! Can’t thank them enough for guiding us along this trip. Sadly the room was not up to standard, Really disappointed with the bathroom, silverfish in the sink and bath, shower was unusable due to clogged trains, beds were clean. Room included iron and board alongside other little amenities. General hygiene of the hotel was great, downstairs was beautiful, although we didn’t eat/ drink from the bar and restaurant it did look very nice. View was beautiful but would’ve been nicer if the windows were clean and hairless.

The only reasons I gave 4/5 stars for service was the self service hot beverage station and making your own toast. Order their specials better, however, this time my poached eggs were not soft. Excellent wine and excellent bar lunch which they allowed us to eat in the restaurant which was a bonus. I love this location. Walks through the wetlands and to Penarth and easy links to Barry Island. Spa brilliant and the quiet area next to the gym brilliant for reading
