We arrived in the evening and it was raining a lot therefore we appreciated so much their free pick up from the train station to the hotel! The structure is simply beautiful and the owners are really kind. They gifted us of a local vinegar bottle, the rooms are simple but clean and the breakfast as well is nice. The position is strategic in the city centre of the old Pingyao. They allowed us to store our luggages on the day of the departure. We definitely recommend to stay here :)

Everything was perfect! The owners are very friendly and they have a translator machine to speak with foreigners. The room is clean and huge with a splendid view. For some reason they keep live peacocks in the hotel lounge and other animals as well, but everything is very clean! The hotel is in excellent location, near the main street in the old town. They also helped us a lot to find a vegetarian restaurant and other things. Very recommended.

The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the ancient city. There were some international options at breakfast, which was very appreciated. The staff is helpful when you ask for information. For what I have personally experienced, the hotel was super quiet too. The room i was given (308) was clean and the bed was comfy, but I must admit it was very cramped for two people. It would serve better as a single room. Also, I think the bathroom in room 308 could use a good restyling, especially the shower. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

This hotel is really unexpected. I was surprised to stay in this hotel at this price. The cost performance is really high. I recommend it with my real name. The service at the front desk is very good, warm and thoughtful. The housekeepers will greet you when they meet you. It feels like returning home. What I like most is their beautiful sunset. The sun shines into the room and it warms up all of a sudden. The panoramic restaurant is also good and very suitable for taking photos and checking in. Anyway, I recommend it

It was Women's Day, and it was another Saturday and Sunday. My wife and I took a break from our busy schedule to visit Pingyao Ancient City. We booked this hotel online. From the moment we booked, the hotel manager contacted us. Meeting us at the high-speed rail station was a pleasant surprise. We also gave my wife flowers for Women's Day (though I hadn't already given her one) and a beautiful jewelry box as a souvenir. This stay was absolutely perfect! The service was impeccable, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. The rooms were spacious and bright, well-equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The hotel's location is also fantastic (right in the heart of the ancient city). Both the amenities and the service were top-notch. Every detail was meticulously thought out, and they were always ready to help. (The tour ended at 10:30 PM, and the hotel manager was waiting ten minutes early to take us back to the hotel.) It was an impeccable stay and I highly recommend it to any discerning traveler! This hotel completely exceeded my expectations!

This hotel is very good, the room is clean and tidy, the front desk service is also very good, there is free pick-up and drop-off service, the room is large, the facilities are well equipped.

Luxurious hotel with great rooms. Breakfast was very extensive and enjoyable. Staff is very friendly with helping to find good restaurants and to enjoy your stay as much as possible. Do keep in mind that the hotel is about 2 kilometers from the ancient city center of Pingyao.

Great location, quiet neighborhood but not far from the center. The room is clean , comfortable and has the atmosphere of an old traditional home. It is the service that needs significant improvement to warrant the current four star rating.  The price was for two people and yet, there was one tea bag per person, a very small roll of toilet paper and the facial tissue bixes were almost empty. The breakfast was no better: ine boiled egg, a small bun, a bowl of sweet porridge and a tiny slice (about one tenth) of a sweet potato and a root vegetable, with a tiny portion of pickled cabbage. For a mainland B&B well below standard. What’s more, the old nan who was on duty in the morning would pick up dirt from the floor while handling food with bare hands and had trouble finding toilet paper in the storage room while I waited outside in freezing weather. The host is friendly and helped with orientation and organizing transfers to the railway station, so with little improvement in service this could be a good choice for Pingyao.

In addition, I intuitively felt that every little detail in Lihua highlights Lihua's humanistic feelings and high-quality service management team. 1. Convenient check-in, smiling service throughout the whole process, gentle voice, patient answers, free room upgrade, considerate preparation of children's toiletries, and advance input of license plate number for easy access; 2. There are special staff to lead us to the floor room, and remind us of some surrounding tourist attractions and breakfast floors while walking, and the snacks can be ordered by the mini program. A very detailed point is that I was alone with two children, so a gentle female staff member led us upstairs. There was no embarrassment or discomfort, but it was very considerate and reassuring; 3. After entering the room, the staff quickly delivered welcome fruits, Tremella and Snow Pear Soup, and two sets of children's toiletries. In addition, the customer service lady also specially applied for a lot of snacks for the children and sent them up (One of them was a sister named Ma Chaoqun, and I didn't remember the name of the other one clearly). The children were very happy and said that I must give the hotel a big thumbs up! 4. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful environment, quiet and safe. You can see Yuanbao Lake in the community outside the window, and feel the breath of early spring. There is no noise at night and you can sleep all night. 5. The hotel room card pattern is Jinhou Bird Zun, which is the treasure of our provincial museum. It can let more people understand Shanxi and love this land with a long history and passion. 6. I accidentally discovered that there is an employee smoking area outside the hotel. The hotel mission is written on the bulletin board: ”Dedicated to the happiness of all employees”. I guess the staff at Lihua are very happy, otherwise how can they pass on such a happy and bright smile to every guest? 7. The staff of the fitness department and the restaurant are also very attentive. The caring greetings always make people feel warm. The shower will be adjusted to the appropriate water temperature in advance; the children are prepared with swimming armbands and swimming caps; the restaurant food is fresh and unique, and the service staff is meticulous and thoughtful... Every little detail has witnessed the silent efforts and hardworking and meaningless fighting spirit of the people of Lihua. I compared many hotels online and chose this one. After placing my order, a housekeeper contacted me. The pick-up and drop-off service was fantastic. I didn't even have to carry my luggage; the front desk guy helped me along the way. Everyone else was incredibly welcoming, making it feel like home. The hotel's setting is an antique courtyard house, giving it a time-travel feel and a sense of history. The room amenities and cleanliness were excellent. Xiaodu turned off the lights and curtains, and the room also had an automatic toilet, a humidifier, and a small refrigerator (with free drinks). Breakfast was buffet-style with a wide variety, and the beef, bowl tray, and kuoluoluo were delicious. The location is just over 100 meters from Ming and Qing Street, making it very convenient for commuting. I'd definitely stay there again!
