When I arrived at the room, I found that the blinds were bad. I called the front desk and sent people to see the instructions. The next night we came back from the outside and found that the curtains were not repaired. I went to the front desk and asked why it was that. The young waitress wearing glasses had a very bad attitude. I was not allowed to change the room. She said that she could only switch to the same location on the fourth floor, which means that it was still noisy next to the elevator. Because the curtains of the hotel were broken, they should be responsible for apologizing for not repairing, but the white girl wearing glasses did not apologize. I often book a room on the official website of the hotel. This time, because Ctrip is cheaper, I booked it on Ctrip. Hotel was just what we expected in a Hampton Inn property- clean, friendly, and well-maintained. Desk clerk gave us a great list of local restaurants and circled the best ones to go to. Breakfast was standard but appreciated. Coffee 24/7. Great sights and location. Highly recommended.

I had the most dissatisfying stay recently at the Hampton Inn in Smithfield RI. This was a one night local getaway for me to have a little alone time, to get some work done, and to relax. I have often stayed at Hiltons but not at the particular location. Right off the bat I found the desk person to be grumpy, short with me, and unfriendly, Not to mention that when I arrived I had to wait for him at the desk as he was outside, Once settled in my room the wifi was inaccessible. I tried several times and there just wasn't a strong enough signal for my computer to hook in. Not only was this disappointing but it didn't allow me to get the work done that I had planned on doing. The room above me sounded like a bowling alley all night long so sleep wasn't possible. In the morning the tv no longer worked, Seemed to possible be a bug with the clocks falling behind or something. Then, when leaving, there wasn't even anyone at the desk to speak with - just a box to put in your plastic room key for disinfecting. All in all it was a very disappointing stay and I won't be returning,

The environment of the hotel is good, and the location is very good in the city center. It's convenient to eat in the United States. The breakfast is good, but it's not suitable for our Chinese stomachs. But it's okay, you can cook easily, there are microwave ovens, induction cookers, and woks There is also a coffee machine that can boil hot water, which is good for me who likes to drink tea, but my daughter can speak English, and I have already booked a room with Ctrip. When my daughter is away, the front desk asks me to use my credit card to pay the deposit, and the communication is difficult.

We stayed at this hotel twice in the 3 months of this summer vacation and the front desk was very friendly, when I first checked in I forgot to take my silk pillowcase (left on the pillow), called the front desk and asked the staff to help keep it, and we got a good stay again after more than half a month Save. Hotel facilities are relatively new, with large parking lot, gym, laundry room, swimming pool, outdoor bonfire, and people gather next to each day. What a delightful surprise! The hotel is hip and friendly, with attractive spaces and thoughtful touches. Free bikes made it a pleasure to get to downtown Newport. Easy walk to Empire Tea and Coffee, Bridge Liquors, and Stop and Shop. A stunning park is behind with trails through a forest and an excellent playground. The room was stylish and bright. The front desk staff was so helpful and courteous. I enjoyed the pool with a great playlist in the background. I highly recommend the Wayfinder Hotel--one of my favorites of all the hotels I've stayed in worldwide. PS: And the best part is, it's affordable!

The location of the hotel was great. It was right on the beach. However, once settling into the room we noticed several bugs we had to kill. The bathroom was not cleaned that well, as there was hair in the bathtub, sink and toilet. When checking in, I was not aware of a ”destination fee” that was an extra $80. That was not listed anywhere on the travel confirmation email nor in my digital receipt from the hotel. We were a little disappointed about these factors, but overall we still had a good trip. Just spent more than expected and wished for cleaner facilities.

The room is large and well-equipped. It has kitchenware and a dishwasher, which is very convenient. It is about 15 minutes away from Brown University. The only problem is that you need to make the sofa bed yourself, but it's okay. It's a good choice.

Great location, good breakfast combos, proximity to everything in the city, friendly staff and maintenance team, rooms are clean and the kitchen is well equipped with all you need to make any type of meal for 4 to 5 people. The fridge is family size. The elevator is swift and well maintained- I have been in a hotel that the elevator took for ever to travel up and down, the wait time was frustrating mostly during morning breakfast rush hours. Just so you know, breakfast is free. Parking is not free, but valet service on site. I will recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Providence. We enjoyed our stay!
