I live in Albuquerque and lead a pretty hectic life working for 3 different delivery services. Whenever I need a break, I check into the Red Roof for a few days. It is always clean, quiet and luxurious for an excellent rate. The entire staff is friendly and on point. ”Ask and you shall receive” could be their official motto! Great amenities and centrally located. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is definitely the best stay in town

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times. For the money it is fair. One problem that has always been present is the fact that their ”breakfast” is non existent. Compared to other similar priced and rated motel/hotel establishments I stay at this one is the PITTS! Almost non-existent, Others have waffle or Pancake machines, Most have toast, scrambled eggs or omlets, or oatmeal, etc. Selection of fresh fruit, yogurt or even fresh donuts are not available. Very Very skimpy selection at best. Why they even list ”breakfast is beyond me.

From Los Angeles to Albuquerque by plane, rent a car at the airport to Santa Fe. I found this when I was looking for a hotel in Santa Fe. I liked the cute interior in the atmosphere that was unique, and the word of mouth was great, so I decided to stay here. When I went, the owner's grandfather also knew Japan and talked about Japanese food and warmed my heart. The bath is equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body soap, and also has a refrigerator and microwave. There was no water, but you can get ice at any time! The trip to Santa Fe was all nice and I'm glad I chose this hotel. I went to the restaurant next door for lunch and dinner. Mexican food and steak were delicious too! It is about 10 minutes drive from the tourist spot in Santa Fe. If you have a car rental, you can afford it!

This will be our third time staying here and once again got a great room. Clean and comfortable. Total cost for the two of us with taxes was $51. At this price I am not looking for Hampton Inn amenities. We pack our own toiletries, have Kleenex, they provide soap and toilet paper, wife packs a hair dryer, and have a Roku stick to watch TV. We love this place because we stop here on our way to AZ. We pull up to our room, bring our overnight stuff in, six feet from our car, walk across the street to the Pow Wow Restaurant/Lizard Lounge for dinner and adult beverages, walk back, and then on the road again in the morning. Two trips next year to AZ and this will again be our stopping point along the way.

We stayed in a deluxe double. Not sure if the rooms are different. Room seemed recently renovated and was clean and adequate with a refrigerator and microwave. Security seemed adequate. Common facilities are dingy. Breakfast was a waffle machine and instant oatmeal. Breakfast ends at 9 am even on Sunday which is a little obnoxious for a hotel about 17 miles from a time zone change (people coming from AZ must not appreciate breakfast ending at 8 am on their body clocks). How much effort would it take to at least go to 10:00 am local time? Answer is probably a lot as more people would use it.
Travelodge by Wyndham Clovis

My recent stay at a Travelodge hotel was, regretfully, an experience I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. The conditions were beyond unsanitary and the service was significantly below par. Upon arrival, we were kept waiting for 20 minutes before the receptionist appeared. When I was finally assigned a room, the key card didn't work. Instead of addressing the issue, the receptionist simply moved us to another room, a solution that seemed dismissive and unprofessional. The replacement room was a nightmare. It was infested with roaches, bugs, and flies, creating an environment that was not just unclean but also deeply disturbing. Dead roaches adorned the walls and live ones crawled over the TV. The terrible smell that filled the room was the icing on this dreadful cake. The bathroom was equally appalling. The bathtub was so dirty and unsanitary that it was unusable. Linen and towels provided were filthy, forcing me to purchase bedding from a local Family Dollar store. The room's lampshade was broken and torn, adding to the overall state of disrepair. The door didn't shut all the way, raising serious security concerns. There was a visible buildup of dirt and grime on the walls, evidence of the hotel's neglect of basic cleaning protocols. Despite the glaring issues, there was no resolution offered to rectify the filth in the room. The hotel is in desperate need of major renovations, as even the parking lot was riddled with huge potholes. Due to the unbearable conditions, I was unable to stay the entire night. I considered sleeping in my car, but the extreme heat made it impossible. I ended up leaving to find a more habitable place to sleep. This Travelodge visit was an absolute disappointment. The lack of cleanliness, pest infestation, and poor customer service combined to make the stay a distressing experience. It's clear that the hotel is failing to meet the most basic health and sanitation measures. I strongly urge the management to address these issues urgently. Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

It took 3 visits to Farmington before I found this gem! I can't find enough superlatives to say about this place. Don't get me wrong, it's not a 5 star fancy hotel; what it is is a great place to stay with a great feeling atmosphere. The facility itself is lovely with nice carpeted hallways leading you to your room. We stayed in a room with a king bed but the room was very large with a small dining table, a desk area and a couch! There was a sliding glass door which lead to a courtyard with a chair outside your room to enjoy the evening air. The bath is very nice as well with a well lit counter and a great shower. I got a great nights sleep on a comfortable bed and breakfast the next morning was great! Eggs, sausage, ham, home fries and just about anything else you could want! I paid twice what I paid here at another hotel during my trip that didn't come close to what I got here. Next time I'm in Farmington there's no doubt where I'll stay
