Really lovely, central hotel, set back from the main road. Quiet, spotlessly clean and the room was warm and cosy, with nice decor. Home away from home. Didn’t use hotel amenities, bar room service. From what I saw, it was of high standard. Would highly recommend a stay here.
The staff members are friendly. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to the train station and shopping.
Our room type is queen bed with a sofa bed. The room is not big and the facility is basic and rather dated. The room design is strange, with the bathroom next to the bed and the toilet next to the entrance. You will have to go to the bathroom to wash your hands after using the toilet. The glass door next to the shower tub can’t be closed properly so water was leaking all over the floor in the bathroom and almost overflowed to where the bed is, as the bathroom door is only 20cm away from the bed at the most.
Tried calling the hotel to find out about the shuttle to see if I could get from the airport to the hotel, phone rang endlessly, no response. Eventually had to get a very expensive taxi since information was hard to come by (Google maps doesn't include the H5H bus service which is turns out is the one to get). It's worth noting that the shuttle price not included in the exorbitant room fee, neither is breakfast. The following morning I called the front desk several times from the bedroom phone, again ringing endlessly, no response. Must have tried for about 10 minutes.
Shower faucets and fixings were missing covers making the shower look neglected. Bedroom lights didn't have any convenient way to turn them off before going to bed meaning having to fumble around to get the many lights turned off. Light switches were only positioned next to one of the two single beds.
Breakfast was decent with a slightly better selection than other hotels, but for the price of £25 I would absolutely have avoided it if I had any other options.
Bar the stunning interior and above-average breakfast selection this is a bog-standard hotel, not worth the asking price at all.
We had a fabulous weekend
And the holiday inn at Windsor was 100% immaculate the staff n service and breakfast was amazing
Thankyou Windsor staff you are amazing
Well done 🤗
Good location, five minutes walk from Reading Railway Station. The entrance is a street garden. Opposite is the office building. The room was on the back floor and looked like a new one, but it didn't taste much. The room is large, the bathroom is large, and it is very comfortable. Breakfast is not bad, there are not many options, but it tastes good. There is a parking lot.
The hotel floor is not high, the room is still big, we are on the 3rd floor, but the room has a musty smell because the window is sealed. The front desk was very polite, saw children, and gave lollipop chocolate. Close to Heathrow, I met a lot of air stewardesses. Seeing the familiarity of the front desk, it was fixed. But it is not convenient to eat around. The hotel's own restaurant is very good. The front desk took the initiative to give the card and can get a 30% discount. If you go back to the city to catch a plane, it is recommended
Except for the old-fashioned facilities in the room, everything else is good. The shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion provided by the hotel are all very good. The wine from the hotel winery is also delicious.
Nice hotel near the airport. Although called Terminal 5, it is a few miles away and there is no airport shuttle but local buses connect the hotel and the airport 24/7.
Rooms are nice and comfortable. Good air-conditioning which was needed during our stay. Powerful showers, strong WiFi and comfy beds.
Check in was a bit slow as there was a coach load of cabin crew clogging up the reception area. This was regular through our stay.
Breakfast is very average and due to the size of the hotel and the small breakfast area it was rather chaotic no matter what time you went down. Food options were very basic but typical of the hotel chain. Terrible coffee!
There isn't much in the area but regular buses to places like Windsor, central London and Legoland make it a good choice for seeing the sights. There is also a really good pizza take away across the road so you don't need to pay the inflated hotel prices for meals.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The surrounding area is vibrant and full of life, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
The hotel itself is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. My room was spotless, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job throughout my stay. The amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the design and comfort of the space.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a great location. I will definitely return on my next visit!

GgraceluanIn a popular tourist spot like Windsor, don’t have too high expectations even for a 4-star hotel. The hotel is in a very good location, just on the main street. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the castle. You can also see the castle from the rooms in the main building (if you are lucky enough to stay there) (to the main building), there are many rooms in the hotel in another building in the backyard. Below the building is the parking lot on the elevated floor, with no view at all. You have to go down the stairs to the backyard from the main building, and there is no elevator in the annex building, which is very inconvenient for guests with large luggage. There were a lot of guests in the hotel, and they said they could check in at 15:00, but I had to wait for almost an hour before the room was ready. The room size was OK, and the facilities met the requirements. However, the sewer pipe in the washbasin was very blocked and the water flow was very slow. The hotel reception staff is still very welcoming.
AAnonymous UserPerfect for me as it’s right across from the office but probably not so great if you wanted to be in the city centre although it’s only an £8 taxi ride or £2 bus ride. Opposite a Beefeater which was handy but I would prefer an on-site bar and restaurant. Felt a bit uncomfortable on check-in to be asked if I was a smoker (I’m not) and if anyone would be joining me later 😳. Didn’t like the bed being made up with sheets, blanket and counter pane as it’s quite uncomfortable particularly on one of the hottest days of the year although the mobile air conditioning unit helped (first time I’ve had sheets and blankets for over 30 years since the day I got married despite extensive business (weekly) and leisure travel (4-6 times a year)). Hotel was very clean and the bathroom was well equipped. A bottle of water would have been a welcome addition to the room particularly in such hot weather. Not sure who to recommend the hotel to as it’s neither a corporate hotel with all the amenities or a home from home. Breakfast was on offer for an additional £15 and I decided to wait until I checked in to see. As I wanted to be in the office for 8am and there was no menu available, times of service or visibility of a dining room, other facilities or even other guests, I decided it may be too intimate and opted for a cold sandwich I had stored in the office fridge ‘just in case’. Was similarly priced to the executive room I had in the Novotel last week which had a full buffet breakfast included.

GGuest UserThe hotel very close to slough market, also it is 5km from windsor market i went there on foot, if you enjoy natural views and rivers there are many places to enjoy, the rooms in the hotel are clean and they provide all that hotels should prived, but the should put good isolating window to keep the noise from the outside unheard, also they should lower the floor of the toilets to prevent the water pooring into the room at shower time. Despite the room of improvements i mentioned earlier i enjoyed my stay with them and i will visit them again.
OOllieSmithStayed for 3 nights while in the area seeing friends. After reading the reviews I was a bit hesitant but the price was so good that I took a chance.
The room was fine, comfy bed, good shower, kettle, free wifi. All you could need. They are trying to be modern and giving a code instead of a key for the locks which is just a pain and unnecessary.
Only negative is that housekeeping are so noisy in a morning so any chance of a sleep in is short lived!
Would stay here again.
DDarrenVery nice clean hotel would definitely stay there again. It was also nice getting a free upgrade on the room. Witch had kettle, microwave, and fridge with a small freezer compartment. The room was like your own flat. Only down side to it was the shower was pretty crap. But you can put up with it for few nights.
