Hotellissa iän tuomaa kulumaa mutta muutoin siistiä. Erinomainen sijainti keskustassa (kaikki palvelut lähellä). Huoneesta hyvä näköala keskustan puistoon ja torille. Sokos Hotel Kimmel is a beautiful hotel, staff very friendly. Breakfast buffet really nice lots of choices. Had prawn pasta for an evening meal, for such a large hotel, prices very reasonable. 5min walk to the main train station, and 10min walk to the town centre, Overall Sokos Hotel Kimmel was Great!! Will definitely be going back.

I booked the hotel via Trip.com. The hotel booking is paid, however during check-in, the front desk manager said that she couldn’t find the payment record. I reached Trip.com right away and I got replied and assisted immediately. The payment actually transferred to the hotel side but the manager kept saying that they couldn’t find the record. After spending half hour standing at the reception, we are allowed to check-in. The manager apparently wasn’t competent nor polite. She definitely need to learn how to deal things internationally. She didn’t apologise at all.

I like this place very much. All the trails start from the hotel. The view from the lobby and restaurant is super beautiful. As a mountaintop hotel, it is very cost-effective. The breakfast is exactly the same every day. Park the car in the parking lot below, don't park the car, and then take the free cable car to the hotel, which is also fun.

The location of the hotel is very good, out of the train station, crossing the bridge and walking less than fifteen minutes. There is a bus stop at the door, which is convenient for travel. The rooms are large, clean and have a sauna to experience the Finnish lifestyle. Breakfast is good and the hotel also serves lunch and dinner. Shopping malls, supermarkets and restaurants in the central area are very close and convenient.
