I originally checked the reviews and didn't have high expectations, but when I arrived, I found it was better than I imagined. The property rights of this hotel should be divided into three hotels, and there will be different stickers on the doors of each room to distinguish them. There are also three counters in the lobby on the first floor, but Jackson's is probably the most important. The appearance of the building says Jackson's. The hotel is in a good location next to the park. Although there may be many guests because we checked in on a Saturday, parking spaces are not guaranteed. However, the front desk was able to communicate in basic English and guided us to a nearby free parking area. Thank you very much! Although the room is not big, it is well cleaned and very clean. The bedding, sheets and pillowcases are very nice to the touch.

The location was good. The hotel was impressive. However, the rooms were a little tight. The worse thing was the air-conditioning which didn't work. Don't know if the temperature is all centrally set or what?Other than that, (the air-conditioning issue) it was a very nice stay. The staff were very good. Some of them spoke English perfectly, which is fantastic. They were also very helpful, which we appreciated.

Our check-in was pretty straightforward, no surprise since we stayed here in the past, staff are pretty cold and disinterested, not rude, just cold. My family enjoyed the last trip so we returned. Our room was as expected, with one exception, the mini kitchen was supplied with utensils, and pots and pans previously, not anymore. The hotel has an interesting HVAC system, the twin suites have a master bedroom loft, and adjacent bed over looking the ocean, very beautiful and relaxing, unfortunately the hotel switched the A/C off and put the heating system on, this made the loft area very warm, I tried to adjust the multiple thermostat controls, but was unaware the AC main was off. The in room phone system was turned off, so the only option was to trek up to the main desk. The front desk clerk and I went back and forth with translators, till I got the Heating system information. I thanked the clerk and headed back to reverse the thermostat settings which did help, along with leaving the glass door to the ocean patio open. Crisis averted, the sounds of the ocean was blissful. The next day we returned to a nicely cleaned suite until I noticed a large piece of chewed gum left on the display shelf, trust me it was gross, I asked my family if anyone left this? I knew the answer before asking, no one in my family are gum chewers. It then became clear the someone in house cleaning left it there, never seen that before on all my travels. When checking out I mentioned the AC/Heater issue as well as the chewing gum issue, and to no surprise to me, there was no interest, discussion or maybe even a halfhearted we apologized for the inconvenience? Nope not at Sun Cruise, the clerk just motioned for the next person in line, I actually laughed, shook my head a little and headed out the door. The one positive thing we took away was, we unanimously decided to never return to Sun Cruise,

It was a nice hotel, close enough to a lot of recreational activities but far away enough to be quiet. Breakfast buffet was good and affordable. Convenience was attached to the building so you have everything you need. 😊

I recently stayed at Ramada Hotel and found it very convenient, especially with the free shuttle service provided. The shuttle runs from Jinbu Station to the hotel, as well as from the hotel to Yongpyong and Alpensia Ski Resorts. Just make sure to check the shuttle schedule in advance —it's available on their website or at the reception counter. The breakfast selection was decent. What I loved most was the convenience of the in-house ski rental shop. We could pick up our ski equipment and suits early and have it ready in our room, making it super easy to head straight to the ski resort the next day. One area for improvement would be promoting other attractions in Pyeongchang, such as ice sculpture shows (if available) or other unique activities, to make the experience even more memorable. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

I can't believe I can stay at such a nice hotel at this price. The front desk staff was so kind, and they upgraded my room because my check-in took too long, so I had a great time! More than anything, the ocean is so beautiful that I want to visit this hotel again just for that reason, and there's a cafe called 'Mama Tira' inside the resort, and even if I don't stay at the hotel, I want to come here every time I come to Samcheok. Not only is the coffee delicious, but the atmosphere is really the best in Samcheok. If I had known there was a cafe like this, I think I wouldn't have searched for a cafe outside the hotel! Sol Beach Samcheok is the best...👍👍 A place I want to come back to see the ocean in the warm spring!

While planning a hot spring trip I had a great trip through Trip.com The building is a bit old, but the rooms are well managed, so it was a neat and clean accommodation I used it well at a low price including breakfast I used the indoor sauna, indoor hot spring, and outdoor spa for 2 people This part was a discount for guests, so it was 35,000 won per person, and 2 people used it I paid 70,000 won on site If this amount is burdensome, there is hot spring water in the room, so that alone will be enough to satisfy you ~^^ The floor of the room was really warm and nice I recommend it for family trips It was nice to see the children having fun running around in the outdoor hot spring even in the cold weather ~^^

I wanted to meet the manager and say hello, but in March, I had to cancel on the same day at Agoda, but Agoda said it was not allowed due to policy, so I almost lost 150,000 won... I was really, really upset, but fortunately Sokcho I-Park processed a refund, so I was sorry for no reason. Still, I remember feeling good about it~!!!! Then, in April, I went to the big room with my brother's family and had a really delicious breakfast~!! This May, I went on a trip with my boyfriend and had a great time. There is a lot of talk about the elevator problem, but I understand the situation of the hotel as I go to the busy area around Sokcho... I think there is nothing I can do and if I go to Sokcho, I will always use it~!!! I also preached to people in Jeji through Sokcho I-Park~!! I really don't want to brag about this place, but it's very clean for the price, the refrigerator is big, the bed is clean, the view is good, and the biggest advantage is that the bathroom is as good as a Shilla Hotel~!!!! TMI, you must eat breakfast~!!!! I highly recommend the bibimbap ㅠㅠ!!!!!! Use the red pepper paste seasoning ㅠㅠ The staff are all very friendly, and sometimes the customers are not abusive... but abusive... It makes me frown... It's an extreme job... ㅠㅠ I can't believe it. It was long. I have only good memories of the I-Park Suites and Very Berry Suites Hotel~!!!!!!! After summer is over, I will go and visit again in the fall. Be happy and stay healthy haha. The location is a bit inconvenient because it is arbitrary. However, the facilities are clean. The hot spring is smaller than expected. The gym is cleanly managed, but no water or towels are provided. There is an observatory where you can easily watch the sunrise.

Seeking to spend a few days on the Korean Seaside, we booked on short notice 2 nights in an Oceanview Double at Seamarq. Overall, we had a wonderful, very relaxing time: we particularly enjoyed - the spacious, beautifully designed and functional room and lobby area, which truly provides a sense of space and an extension of the hotel space into the sea - the absolutely stunning 5th floor pools area, which was never really crowded and also stayed open despite some minor rain on our first day: comfortable sunbeds, generous opening hours (06:30 - 22:00, great) and good service by the mostly very young crew up here - the nice ocean side loungers, even though we still find it awkward that there is (at least officially) a 1.5 hour limitation to the use of the sunbeds (though at least during our stay this did not seem to have been enforced) - the piano player who brought a serene, peaceful atmostphere to the lobby every night, and the Lobby Bar with an excellent drinks, tea and small food selection - the thought-through room design, incl. the practical wet clothes hanger with clips to secure any item, and the Nespresso machine, tea pot etc. - the overall good selection and tastiness of the food at breakfast and at the buffet dinner (which we only joined once) To be among the very best hotels, Seamarq needs to fix a few things - the setup and food presentation of the breakfast / dining room is more reminding of a low-end, family vacation style: relatively crammed seating, presentation of the food buffet is without love (though the have a great choice - it's more how it's presented), and erratic service (e.g. on first morning nobody cleared used dishes from our breakfast table, while today this was done promptly every time...). - while there is a wonderful beach with the hotel's sun loungers, there are no beach towels available: this is the first time ever around the world we experienced this. Why not provide the same service as at the pool (where those are freely available)? - as others wrote, the elevator availability and waiting time is a real issue - with only 3 elevators that are also partly used by staff to deliver luggage wait times are often excessive. All these were not significantly spoiling our experience, and we would definitely be back here if staying in the area - though it would be easy for the hotel to improve on some of the items above. Overall a wonderful place to stay if in Gangneug, and wanting to be at (or better above :-) ) the sea

I came here the first time and liked the location and facilities so I came back. When I visited again, the sofas and furniture were not cleaned well. I asked the front desk for some items, but they forgot and did not accept my request. The location, parking, and heating/cooling are great.

It’s very good with God’s ratio〰️💫 The cleanliness is good, the parking lot is spacious, but the soundproofing is not very good. I could hear the couple(?) fighting next door very clearly, so I turned the song up really loud.

I took a taxi from a restaurant around the station and took 18000 won at 7 o'clock at night. This price in Korea would have been quite far. There is no around the hotel, but is it okay? And the taxi driver also told me. Is it good for those who want to be quiet and slow? The front desk seems to be not 24 hours and has been sent about check-in time by email in advance. The room is quite unique and has a pretty deep bathtub. It is a warm room because it has on dollar.

First of all, the location is ok. It's close to anywhere and it's a bit difficult to walk. The facility is called a pension, but it's a fault that you have to use the kitchen with people you don't know on the first floor, not personal cooking. And it gets very hot when charging a cell phone or something else, whether the electrical facilities are a little bad, and in the morning there is a chicken crying and a dog barking. Resort is constructed to offer panoramic vistas to guests directly from their room window & balcony. - Resort has everything needed for a familiy retreat. They have a large indoor water park(Sokcho Water Park), 5+ restaurants including one that you can do K-BBQ(Natural Soul Kitchen), large and fun kid’s cafe (Lala Kids Adventure), direct access to East Sea coast and the best Korean seafood shops are within uber delivery distance. They even have a mini golf place. - Lotte Resort Sokcho also offers various family oriented programs that I recommend you check out. We chartered a catamaran yatch and cruised the East Sea, went to a local strawberry farm and harvested a couple baskets, tried Lotte’s cookie house making program which are all available through the resort. WHEN: May 2023 WHO: Family of 3, including a 17 month old daughter WHAT ROOM: Character Suite Room We visited the Lotte Resort Sokcho as a family retreat in May with our 17 month old daughter. The Resort was our top choice because it had all the facilities that one would want one visiting a beach coast resort, and at the same time very family friendly as they provided baby amenities such as baby food, bed, moisturizer etc. We stayed at the Character Suite room, which is a spacious room that features a Lotte themed slide, hide&seek spots and children’s restroom. Our daughter had so much fun in the room - she rode the slide a gazillion times and played hide and seek with us. My wife liked the fact that the room had a good combination of contemporary designs and playful childrens’ furniture, all with safety in mind. Stay at the Lotte Resort was also memorable as we took advantage of the many facilities. On the first day, we went to the indoor Water Park which offered wave riding, a large lazy river, water slides of all sizes and a jacuzzi for relaxing. We headed to the BBQ restaurant (Natural Soul Kitchen) at dinner to charge up and had some fun cooking lobster, beef, pork and lamb racks. The restaurant also offered many Korean dishes that goes well with the BBQ we had ample choice. After a good rest in our beach view room, we headed up to R.9PUP, a pub on the 9th floor as the name suggests. The pub offers a wide range of Korean local brewery at a scenic view of the coastal beach. It was even better as the pub had a family friendly atmosphere where the young ones are invited to play the dart and chill on the bean bags on the terrace. All in all, this is a great one-stop resort that offers great view, nature, variety of dining options, all at the same time running large scale facilities such as the Sokcho Water Park. I definitely look forward to visiting again and with comfortably recommend to families looking for a good time toget

After comparing all other booking channels, I booked through Trip.com because it was the cheapest. I was satisfied with the price. I heard that it hasn't received any star ratings yet, but it seems to be at least 4 stars. The ocean view is wide enough for a deluxe king, and the jacuzzi is especially big enough for two people. The ocean is not visible at night, but you can enjoy it very leisurely during the day. If you want to enjoy the ocean view, check in early and enjoy it on the sofa until the sun sets!! Very satisfied.

The amount I paid for our three days staying at the hotel paid off. Its cleanness and amenities were excellent, its location to the nearby restaurant was very convenient. The ocean view was phenomenal. Parking guide was there 24/7 and I liked it very much. The front desk girls were very nice and polite. I strongly recommend this place to anyone. Five stars rated plus

After using Waterpia, it snowed a lot, so I made a quick reservation. I hadn't even thought about it, but it was clean and comfortable. Non-face-to-face check-out was also convenient. The location is good and the amenities are good, so I used it well. It suddenly snowed, so the snowy scenery was really great. It was awesome!

The facilities are old, but there are remodeled rooms and unremodeled rooms. Book in accordance with your pocket. The internal bedding and towels were unexpectedly neatly dry and smelled good. There is also a sauna and a convenience store. However, the parking space is narrow. Breakfast is not much, but it was delicious with buffet style.

This is an accommodation I often use when I go to Sokcho. I had to stay one more day, so I stayed there for several consecutive nights. They kindly let me stay overnight and showed me the newly cleaned room right away, so I stayed comfortably.

As the title suggests, it was the best resort in the East Coast area, which was the best resort in the East Coast. The resort is now a bit old, and the water park is small, so it is a bit shabby compared to Soccio Hanhua Condon or Dae Myung Ocean World. Dignity Hotel is located right next to the ocean, so for sea-loving folks, this is the place for you! Naksan Temple is 20mins away, but the beautiful ocean will keep you occupied while you stroll over. Room-wise, the room is very spacious, with a large walk in dressing room and a lounging area. It is also very quiet at night (it is the countryside after all!) and you will be guaranteed a good rest. Amenities around the areas are sparse as it is still low-season (for instance, the nearest well-stocked convenience store is 20 mins away). So I recommend to purchasing the morning buffet at the hotel restaurant so you wouldn’t go hungry in the mornings while thinking about where to explore. Regardless, I expect the area to be much more accessible during the high-season of summer, so plan accordingly! All in all, if I return to Yangyang, Dignity Hotel will be my first choice in selecting a place to stay. I had a wonderful time there.

I booked a family room to go to Naksansa Temple. I was able to register my car before taking a number and checking in. The beach is also free parking. The cafe offers a discount for guests at Latte and Americano. All the staff are very friendly. However, one of the bed sheets looked a little washed, and the wet sauna room inside the seawater sauna needs some work. That's why I lowered my rating. The hotel is old, but it seems to be well managed. Please do something about the wet sauna room in the bathroom... It's a room for 4 people, but breakfast is included for up to 2 people, so I purchased an additional person when checking in, and there is a discount for guests staying at the breakfast and sauna. Breakfast is 25,000 won, but it's great for this price. The merit is that it's directly connected to the back gate of Naksansa Temple. I went there for this reason. The background of the photo is Naksan Beach, the sunrise seen from the accommodation, and the ocean seen from Naksansa Temple.

The rooms were immaculate, but there weren’t half as many amenities as I’ve experienced in other hotels (even with less stars), like shampoo and conditioner, toothbrushes etc. Also, the desk failed to inform us that the reception was closed throughout the night so we had a bit of trouble getting into our room when we got locked out and couldn’t find any help (I never considered the reception to be closed as it’s an international airport hotel). But anyway we had a good nights sleep and it was very peaceful.

I stayed there for 2 days and 1 night and got Deluxe suite 113. Ours was 2 bedroom with living room, kitchen, tv, and small veranda. There were complimentary drinks, coffee maker and tea available. The room was so spacious. We have extra futons/mats! Our meals were so healthy and delicious (salmon, chicken breast in turmeric, veggies and mushrooms). They also have carbonated hot springs and wellness programs like yoga and meditation. How to get here? If you are coming from Seoul, you can take the bus. From Yangyang Bus station, you can just take the taxi. There are foreign taxis in Yangyang. Drivers are so nice and friendly.

The location is disappointing, but it is a friendly, clean, and appropriate place😊 You can see the sea far away from the accommodation. I wasn't expecting breakfast after reading other reviews, but I was surprised at how good it was. Good convenience store on the first floor. There are no restaurants nearby, but I recommend the beef and chicken restaurant.

The facility itself is fine, but it was a shame that the 3rd floor was the lowest and the shabby pension building was there. I think it was a shame because I booked it with a view of the ocean. If possible, avoid the lower floors, and if the elevator smell was a little bit better, it would be better.
