Hotel is so pretty and the view is stunning when you open the door. Matera is one of my favourite cities in Italy. Worth to stay at this hotel when visiting Matera and then you must be impressed by the city atmosphere. Next time I will stay at least for 2 nights to explore the city. What’s more, hotel staff introduced us one nearby restaurant which was so yummy. Thanks so much for her recommendation.

Very good, a lady at the front desk and the restaurant service staff are very polite (but there is a man at the front desk who has been calling more indifferent), the location of the hotel is also very good and convenient, it is really very comfortable and comfortable! I really have a good impression of this country and it is great,

Very enjoyable stay. Lovely staff. Nice coffee and breakfast though quite simple. Would have liked some fresh orange juice in the morning rather than the cheap from concentrate stuff. Very happy on the whole though.
On the whole good value for money for the sleeping in a cave house type place in Matera.
Extra marks for the hotels dog Peggy who is adorable :D

Excellent hotel but way out of town in a lonely industrial area, perfect for those with a car.
Wifi in some rooms is quite disappointing too.
other than that, modern facilities including swimming pool (closed in December obviously), ample car park, large bedrooms, and superb breakfast.
The hotel has a very nice lobby and common areas; the comfortable, clean rooms, drawing attention to some details (like air conditioning not work, a little noisy). The hotel has a parking area, and the hotel has a parking area.
Very very rare new hotel in Europe, just on the edge of the old city of Matera, there is a Chinese Japanese material around, parking is originally charged, but finally confiscated, I don’t know if I heard it wrong or forgot.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and instantly felt at home. The property is stunning—spacious, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. We especially loved the private rocky beach with crystal-clear turquoise water—a rare find.
The hotel carries a vintage 50s–60s vibe but is well-updated for comfort. Though we didn’t get to use it this time, the tennis court was a nice bonus. Overall, a peaceful, elegant retreat that we can’t wait to return to.
There was a small miscommunication about sunscreen availability at the beach club—we were charged ( 59 euro for the sunscreen) at checkout without prior notice- as we thought they provide sunscreen when we asked for it at the beach. ( lost in translation 😛) It didn’t affect our experience, but clearer communication would have been appreciated.
Staff were lovely, warm, and helpful throughout. A true hidden gem—highly recommended for a relaxed, upscale getaway.
GGuest UserWorst experience in staying in independent accommodation. Left in the rain for 1 hour. Tried 18 calls not answered A very unpleasant man turned up and yelled at us in Italian. We felt very intimidated. When we went out we believe someone entered the room and turned off all lights and heating.
Nice room but it’s in an apartment not a hotel like pictures make you believe. Next morning 1/2 hour before check out we returned back and the angry man was waiting for us. Yelling about lights left on. This was a small bathroom light we’d missed when we went for a walk. He virtually threw us out of the hotel. Standing in front of the bedroom window making us very uncomfortable. Very very unpleasant stay.
GGuest UserReally great one night stay. The hotel is very conveniently located for the autostrada. It was easy to check in and the reception staff were pleasant. We were advised parking was at the rear of the hotel where there was plenty of space. Our room was clean and modern, with a lovely comfortable bed.
We had dinner in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the choice available, as we don't eat meat, there were vegetarian options and of course fish, and the quality was excellent. It was also reasonable in cost.
We had breakfast the next day where there was ample choice of scrambled egg (and bacon), cheeses, bread and pastries, cakes etc. Would thoroughly recommend.
RRowena Yin TingA nice boutique hotel with friendly staff at a good location with restaurants nearby. We booked two rooms - the room on 2nd floor is good but the one on ground floor smells a bit of mould. Perhaps because it’s inside a cave. Breakfast choice is limited with fruits, toast with tomatoes, and cakes. You can order boiled or scrambled eggs as this is the only hot food they serve. We are fine with that but more as fyi.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the historic district of Matera and cannot be reached by car rental. Fortunately, the hotel staff informed by email in advance and provided the nearest parking address. When we stopped the car, a phone came to pick us up to the hotel. And draw in great detail on the map the detailed roads to walk around the city.
There are not many hotel rooms and each is very distinctive. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony for free, and we can enjoy the city view while basking in the sun, which is very uncomfortable.
Hotel breakfast is very rich

MmlenitskayaThis is probably the best hotel in Matera based on what we read before traveling. The service is exceptional , very helpful and friendly staff. The room is spacious, very clean and cozy. We had a small balcony with a very nice room. The restaurant that was recommended to us was also amazing. Highly recommend!
