Holiday Inn Express & Suites Nassau

The Holiday Inn Express is perfect for people who want a clean and comfortable accommodation without staying at an ”all-inclusive” resort. The Bahamian culture and the Nassau area are so beautiful, and it would be a shame to lock yourself into a sealed resort where you don't really interact with locals. Service here was fantastic -- my air conditioner was misbehaving a bit on the first day, and I asked someone to come take a look, and instead they upgraded me to a larger room to make sure they had time to look at the a/c and that I didn't spend a moment being uncomfortable, which was above and beyond my expectations. They have a really tasty hot breakfast, and their snack selection, available 24 hours a day to be picked up at reception and billed to your room, is broad and includes even full microwave meals (for when you're hungry at 3am on an island with very to no overnight food places available). The prices are very, very reasonable, as well -- after snacking pretty consistently throughout my seven-day stay, I expected my snack and beer bill to get a little crazy, but it turned out to be about $20 after I ate and drank well over $20 worth of stuff. It's easy to walk to downtown and shop, book tours, etc. from here, and the beach is right across the street. The Fish Fry at Arawak Cay is a 5-10 minute walk away as well. Most of what I wanted to see and do was an easy commute on foot, and cabs to and from the hotel were reasonably priced, when I was way too tired. Plus, the #10 city bus runs right past it. I would definitely recommend this place to travelers who are pretty independent in a new location, but also like comfort and great service. It was the perfect balance for me.

Although it was Hilton, it felt like a good hotel at first, but I was a bit disappointed that the room was relatively humid. Facilities and environment are not as good as Hilton elsewhere. But the location is good. Full breakfast is rich and varied. Also I don't think the view of the hotel beach is particularly good.

We found this resort to have everything we needed to have an excellent vacation. The majority of the staff was very welcoming and courteous every time we had any encounter with them. I found the bartenders at the lobby bar not so friendly. It was hard to get their attention and at times felt I have been overlooked. Otherwise I have all good things to say about this resort. I would definitely visit this resort again. Thank you for making our trip memorable.

The staff here is amazing! So helpful! Chasanique accommodated my super early AM breakfasts because I was too excited to sleep in, and the cappuccino from the side store is divine! Front desk staff helped check us in early due to a flight being changed by the airline so that we didn’t have to walk around with our baggage we could just go right to our room. I really can’t say enough good things about this hotel. And of course, the amenities and waterpark are amazing and the rooftop bar is absolutely gorgeous at night.

Not far from the airport, but also need to call a car, this is the best hotel in the Bahamas this time, better than the countryt of dt, the same price should be the best, this hotel was temporarily booked on the same day, because staying The airbnb on Pig Island is too bad, so I decided that the home looked good, and Ctrip had no comment, so I planned to gamble. I arrived early in the day, but I also checked in early. If the fee is about two thousand RMB per night, I paid almost a hundred dollars in tax when I checked out. Unfortunately, I did not experience the swimming pool behind the hotel. It looks very good. The stay is very comfortable, there is a balcony, the decoration is quite new, it is recommended to experience, there is a casino downstairs, did not go.

Overall it is not worth 2k, but the hotels on the island are expensive, checkin is very slow, the efficiency of local people is too low, the scenery is average, because downstairs can see more beautiful sea views, the swimming pool is a bit old, not too big. For service, fortunately, the hotel helped to retrieve the blanket. The neighborhood is quite lively and the location is good. The picture is for your reference. It is a sea view room. The outside view is better than that of a hotel. The phone has a little filter.

The owner is an amazing woman. She was very helpful, easy to reach, and accommodating. She responded to questions quickly which was impressive as we made initial inquiries four time zones away. While there she also responded to messages quickly. The apartment had everything we needed including a full-sized refrigerator, gas stove, and a microwave. We even had a private outdoor area. We were there comfortably for a week. The location was very nice as well. We didn't have to drive far to have all of our needs met. What was interesting is that by contacting her directly we got a better price than going through typical travel search engines.

Excellent resort near Nassau. The staff was very helpful and nice. The room was spacious with a veranda towards the laguna (with hammocks). The pool is also spacious, clean, and very pleasant. You can order drinks from the pool bar. We had breakfast on the veranda, very nice. However, the A/C in the room was very helpful (quiet and strong) as the weather was hot and humid. The ocean is a short walk below the road to Nassau. The resort itself is well guarded and not accessible from the outside which gave us a safe feeling (however, the Bahamas appear to be safe in general). Free coffee etc. in the room, microwave, fridge. Free international calls to the US from the front desk. Good parking locations directly in front of the appartment building. We had a rental car, but the resort is not far away from the airport (maybe 8 km driving). It is about 10 km from Nassau downtown where we went by rental car. It is probably easy to make both ways with a taxi. We really enjoyed our visit. It was just too short!
