Women may be worried because the surrounding area is dark and less crowded. I think the room is clean as an inn in India. The bath towel was dull and torn, and the sheets and covers were discolored and stained, but it was okay because it was clean and not smelly. There are no pajamas or slippers, but everything else was available. The staff are all very kind, and there are many welcome drinks, sweets, fruits, etc. Above all, you can sleep quietly. Warm water comes out firmly. This is not natural in India, so I was grateful to get rid of my tiredness. Breakfast was quite simple, so I ate at a shop that was calling about 2 houses next door.

We stayed for two nights, from January 1 to January 3, 2025. The room was spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff consistently greeted us with warm smiles, making us feel truly welcomed. The breakfast was enjoyable, especially the hot lassi and delicious pancakes, which were a highlight of our mornings. A special thank you to the lovely Ms. Shilpa for her kindness and patience in teaching me how to wear a saree. Her guidance made the experience incredibly memorable, and I'll always treasure it. Her service was exceptional! **Cons:** During both nights of our stay, there were numerous events, which led to some noise. Overall, I still highly recommend this place for its excellent service, clean and comfortable rooms, and a memorable stay in Agra!

Beautiful property, over 100 years old from Colonial era, with large comfortable, clean and silent rooms, impeccable service with high quality homely food, highly recommended for couples, solo Travellers, and friends - important to note that kids are not allowed here!

Nice hotel. Clean and nice bedroom. Big and new which is not common in Varanasi. Staff very kind and helpful. Restaurant a little dark and not as new as the rooms. Totally worthy to stay. Is relaxing going back to this hotel after the intensity of Varanasi day life.

This hotel is decorated with paintings with Buddhist motifs. It is clean, has everything you need, and the food is delicious. There are many small shops and food stalls on the road from the hotel to the station. The hotel is located far from the Ganges River, so you need to take a rickshaw. There is a train station nearby, Varanasi Yad, but it is a bit of a walk from there (the roads are dirty and the traffic is chaotic).

I'm Japanese. Both the facilities and the rooms were very beautiful that I couldn't think of as a baranashi. Also, the water pressure, temperature, wifi, all of the shower can be used without problems. Also, the uncle of the reception, Mr. Deep, was a very nice guy.

Loved everything about this hotel from the service to the location. The receptionist was very welcoming and had even assisted to buy us the Taj Mahal tickets a day prior for a small extra fee which was great as we didnt have to go early to line up. The room was beautiful and it had a bathtub as well which was lovely. The hotel location was wonderful as its about a 10-min walk to the gate of Taj Mahal which is perfect and totally safe at 6am to walk and go by your own. The hotel at the roof top of this hotel was simply amazing. They have live ghazals of which it was really good with their reasonable menu pricing. All in all, as a tourist I did plenty of research of hotels around the Taj Mahal area and this hotel for this price was excellent!

I couldn't find anything I was dissatisfied with. There were no problems with the shower water pressure, hot water temperature, drainage, or smell, which are of concern to Japanese people. The shower room also had a glass door, so the toilet floor didn't get soaked. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes and was very satisfying. The front desk staff are always smiling, and although the exchange rate isn't very good, they will exchange your money for Japanese yen.
