It's about a 10-minute walk to Temple 23 (if you are doing the 88-temple pilgrimage)."

Excellent location if you're by train or car. 2 car parks directly behind the hotel, one of which in the open (park 2), which will obviously make the car rather hot in the summer. Park 1 is covered, though sadly the Nissan Roox Keicar was too tall to fit. Train station is directly opposite. The onsen up top is in need of some refurbishment, but it is frequented by locals, when you visit show room keycard and the nice lady will provide you towels. The room was large, spacious, clean and the beds comfy, the room looked as if it had been recd to refurbished, and it's directly above a Lawson as well as a tulleys coffee. So lots of convenience. Just be advised there's not much to do here except the first few shrines of the pilgrimage and some other points that require a car. I wouldn't recommend visiting any other way. And exit to the east via the art museum and circle around via Kobe and Himeji was a highlight of our trip. Hotel is excellent and very good value for money. Recommended.

My husband and I are both 70yo from Australia. We had a wonderful experience. Our room was traditional, large and comfortable. Having use of a Onsen on-site was a bonus, robes provided aswell. Our Japanese breakfast, our first was delicious. The lady owner was very kind and helpful. No Japanese for us and no English for her, google translate got us both through. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located next to Tokushima Bizan Park, about a 15-minute drive from the city center. It has free parking, which is very convenient. But on the way up the mountain, pay attention to the path that turns into the hotel, otherwise it is easy to miss it. The room is spacious and is a Japanese-style tatami room, very comfortable. The room is high above the city, overlooking the city of Tokushima, and the night view is very beautiful. Our accommodation included breakfast and dinner, and we dined at the buffet restaurant. The food was very rich and delicious, and there were also many choices for vegetarians. On the night of our check-in, after dinner, we asked the front desk staff to call a taxi for us to go to the Awa Hall to watch the show. The service staff was very considerate and asked the driver to not only take us to the hall, but also wait for us to finish the show before taking us back to the hotel. There is no additional charge for waiting time. It's really a home service, which is very much appreciated. It was also very comfortable to take a bath in the hotel's large public bath at night. The whole stay was very good. Highly recommended.

About 18 mins walk from Anan JR Station. Decent hotel, room is compact. Comes with a public onsen at 2 level and is great to relax there. Breakfast is delicious and the happy hour from 3pm - 9 pm comes with free liquor and self made cocktail.

The hotel is located at the seaside hotel on National Road 55. The environment is beautiful, the hotel facilities are very good, the dinner and breakfast in the restaurant are very beautiful, the room is Japanese, the place is comfortable, the waiter is friendly, and there is a large bath, you can soak in the bath to eliminate the fatigue of the day. If it is passing by here, it is worth staying at this hotel. Then continue the journey.

大塚国際美術館に行くためにこちらを予約。美術館までの距離、ご飯で選びました。美術館までは歩いて5分ぐらいかと思います。お酒を飲んだのもありますが晩御飯の量が多く良かったです。料理内容も普段あまり食べないものばかりだったので新鮮で美味しくて満足です。旅館内も客室も清潔でした。多少ガラスの水垢などはありましたが、潔癖な方でない限りは嫌という程では無いかと思います。 ただ一点すごく気になったのが、大浴場の露天風呂です。夜だったのですが虫がすごくお風呂の中にも浮いていて入れませんでした。

The free breakfast and self-service bar are great, the bathhouse and hot spring on the second floor are also great, the staff at the counter are very friendly, and many things are self-owned, so there won't be too many complicated issues. I will choose it again next time I visit.

This time, I drove to Oboke and stayed at the hotel. There's free parking outside, but no restaurants nearby. Lawson and a few shops (closing at 5 PM) are a few minutes' drive from the hotel. The hotel staff were polite, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The tatami bedroom was made up for us by the staff upon check-in, and there was also a small balcony. The hotel's meals (two meals per night) were excellent; dinner and the buffet breakfast are highly recommended.
